NY-based Staple Design was commissioned by HBO to produce a series of limited edition hoodies in honor of the fifth and final season of The Wire. Staple got 5 artists to create one design each (that makes one for each season of the super successful show). Only 20 pieces per design were produced so if you aren’t part of the cast or crew you’re pretty much out of luck, though a few sweatshirts were auctioned off for charity.

The Guitar Center has teamed up with the Wu-Tang Clan’s superstar rapper/producer RZA to create eight Forat Custom MV8800s. The limited edition drum machine/production studio features original artwork by electronic pioneer Bruce Forat. They go on sale on February 28th and will set you back $5999.00. The good news is that each purchaser will also get the opportunity to attend a private tutorial session with the RZA himself. Who’s in?

A lot of dudes on these blogs are microwave producers. They get a computer and midi keyboard and think they know everything about music. it's not about the gear it's about the person behind the gear. Some dudes have nice beats on computers some dudes have nice beats on a mpc. Some of these microwave producers on these computer need to learn how to sample first so they can get some history on music on a whole and not just focus on hip hop. That's why all these mainstream beats sound so robotic(no soul)dudes quantize to much!!!! Ya'll using those preloaded sounds to much!!!!!
