Ok, so it looks like there's a little beef brewing in the clothing world. In one corner we have LRG, which Entrepreneur Magazine recently ranked at #5 on its 2007 Hot 500 list of fastest-growing companies, and in the other corner we have the lesser known Shady Ltd. (Eminem's apparel brand).
Here's the controversy.
Shady Ltd dropped this Jason inspired hoodie earlier this year:
And LRG dropped this one:
This is causing a lot of people to wonder what came first. The Shady Ltd people revealed their hoodie at Magic back in February and dropped it in the Cashis video for "Lac Motion" about four months ago, while LRG didn't release their design until the summer. But we all know that clothes aren't created overnight. Sohh, what do you think? Was there some shady business going on or this this just a clothing coincidence?

If you think about it, Em came up with the whole Jason Mask with the Chainsaw thing. You can see it early in his career when he went on tour with D12. I forgot what tour it was, but it was years ago and he came out in overalls and a mask with a chainsaw. Even his action figure is dressed like it.
Now with LRG, they have chainsaws on their Jason mask. Jason didn't use a chainsaw. He used a machete. To me, this points out that LRG coped Shady ltd, because that's like Em's THING. Chainsaw + Jason mask = Em. Whether or not LRG or Shady ltd designed the hoodie first, Em was definitely the one to come up with the concept of mixing horror icons together.

All the DJs hired by Interscope wear LRG clothing, it seems as if they are given it to promote it, but in all actuality they work under Paul Rosenburg. Check DJ AMs Myspace pics or Team Canadas myspace orDJ Scenes myspacepage. Im sure the companies are all under one contract....basically all the moneys going in the same fucking bank...so it dont matter...I use to like some of the LRG......I prefer some of Shady LTd available overseas...the shit they sell here sucks.
