Indescribable creativity by Bed-Stuy's very own Mos Def.

Mos Def - "Casa Bey"

Even if Drake wrote the best Lil Wayne verse he ever could, it wouldn't even come out even 1/4 as nice.

That ^^^^^^ was in reference to that clown who said that Mos could never see Lil Wayne in a battle. Clowns stay behind the camera for a reason.

I would go on to applaud Mos and whatnot, but I think I'll stop here and let the brilliance speak for itself.

The Ecstatic will be available for purchase June 9th.

i don't see what's so special about it. beat is lame, he can't sing, and yeah, he's got a nice flow, but he's not really saying anything. He's just putting big words together, which, apparently, is amazing to most. I'd rather listen to him actually rapping about something clear and concrete rather than listen to him just trying to impress me with his vocabulary. It was like listening to the non-conscious version of Cee-Lo. Although, I do hope Mos does big numbers, which i doubt he will.

U and your lame shots at the south are pathetic and not magnetic. Mos Def is ok really not that nice. How many duds has he put out? He can barely make a listenable song I could care less what hes saying. Tell hime to write petry then not make music. Where is Talib. Now that dude is an artist. Where is Reflection's Eternal 2?

Whoever did the Motion Graphics for this video is pretty damn talented.

@suuure
what big words are you talking about? Maybe his lyrics are considered "big words" to people with low intelligence or no diploma/degree, but i'm not seeing what your talking about. Not dissing you, but you gotta explain this one.
@Cat3
gotta disagree with you on the mos def part. i agree with talib being a nice artist, but i think mos def is still fire.

tHeRe doesn't have to be a special thing to it... beat ain't lame at all if you're listening... c'mon now... though i have to agree on the numbers issue, that'll be hard to come by. track is still hittin' though. peace......................
