BX stand up. Joell Ortiz is back... like cooked crack.

Nah... seriously. In this song, he speaks through the eyes of a crack addict. For those who care, there's a message in it: Don't smoke crack. You'll end up like the beggar on the 2 train.

Joell Ortiz - "Never Sleep"

Cory Gunz... one of The Bronx's finest-- and youngest. Better than his father. More potential than what a lot of people may think. But still not getting that mainstream buzz --- buzz that's way overdue. Check out the below video to see what young Gunz has been up to -- which includes a Gangsta Grillz mixtape (those are still existent?) supposedly dropping late June, and a Militia South? Wow.

"The only thing that's missing in the game-- who's real and who's not all that sh*t don't matter," Gunz says. "At the end of the day I think the game is missing its edge. It's a lot of n*ggas scared to take chances. Most of the people who took chances are the most successful people. As long as you real with that, you willing to put your all behind your everything. Not to take up for nobody, I personally dont know Kanye West. But a lot of people talk about him. But he aint afraid to take chances. A lot of dudes dont take heed to that.

Ima dude that, I feel something, Ima say the sh*t. I'm not the biggest dude in the world. Im mortal. Im human. But if there's something that I dont like, or somebody say something that I dont like, Ima speak on it. So I think a lot of dudes is missing that-- is edge. It's not being who's real and who's not. More taking risks. Take some chances."

Don't take that as a shot at Jadakiss. I know some will read into that more than necessary. The point of me emphasizing this segment of the interview is to show how a younger dude in the game can be less "Gossip Girl" and Video Thug than 95% of these dramatic rappers in the game at the moment. Real talk, straight from The X.
