Shout out to D-Block. But I wonder if they're ever going to make a major impact outside of the mixtape game. It's already been three years since they released that brilliant 50 Cent dis, and all three members-- Sheek Louch, Styles P, and Jadakiss, have released albums in between time in exchange for only lukewarm success. Jadakiss is doing well considering the circumstances, but Sheek and Styles haven't gotten the props they deserve.
Still riding for the Yonkers crew though. Still think they need to shed all that dead weight they carry with the extra D-Block artists that do nothing for the brand.
But check out the cover art for their upcoming album, dropping this June:
Jadakiss speaks on whether or not sucka MCs would be here if 2Pac and Biggie were still here:
"A lot of people wouldn't be [here]. Cause the standards would be much higher. It would be like a secret society almost. The people who would be in the game would have to be elite. You have to be nice. If you wasn't really at the top of the game you wouldnt be able to get in. And thats why I say with the artsts today. When I came in the game it was much harder. Pac, Big, Snoop [Dogg], [Dr.] Dre. Meth, Red, The Wu [Tang Clan]. If you wasn't super lyrical you couldn't get in. Now it's other avenues and lanes where you can have success and be successful without being lyrical. So it's a beautiful thing. Just gotta stay original. Everybody don't gotta use the auto tune. Everybody don't go to do what everybody's doing. You see the first week numbers, no auto tune. Mighta did more with it, but look what I did without it."

If Pac & Big were still alive today, Hov wouldn't be where he's at right now. And also I believe that Pac would of been one of the best rappers turned actors to date. Besides Will Smith.
