New video from Maino. Song came out a while ago. Sure is a far cry from "Hi Hater." The only thing I would have to say about this joint is that this nuisance T-Pain strikes once again.
Momentarily, this album is slated for a June release. This album should have dropped a long time ago. How long ago was that "Hi Hater" joint hot in these streets?
Shout out to Sarah Alminawi, btw.

Hmmm. I don't know what it is but there's something in me that wants to see this dude be successful... even though he doesn't have too much to work with.
He's not a lyricist, in fact not really an above-par "rapper" at that - mediocre flow, vocal quality, etc. BUT THERE'S JUST SOMETHING that makes you root for the dude. I guess it's because he seems like a real dude in his interviews - no bullsh*t, no radical claims, and he doesn't use his criminal history as "Blackploitation" and coonery.
You've got a long list of buffoons who are catching every break there is (case-in-point: Jim Jones) and wasting it while further degrading the genre in the process. Maino comes off as a genuine and self-respecting dude.
Hopefully, he'll run into the right producer and record to catapult him to stardom. If not, I just hope he doesn't go for gimmicks to make a name for himself.
The song isn't great, but it makes a great STATEMENT on realness. And this is one instance where I think T-Pain actually adds to it. Nuff respek.
Can't believe I'm bout to say this, but co-sign REACT 100%...Maino is a real nigga, and I want to see him prevail...I honestly never liked Hi-Hater even though it was a smash in the streets.I just could never get with the hook..I like this song though, even with Pain being on it...I wanna see dude get his just due..He deserves it. He's been on his grind and not jocking anyones style....
But still, is this the best that NYC has to offer???Cause dude is not a lyricist.
