Damn. Dipset has been making it hot in these streets for the past couple of weeks.
The latest? Jim Jones is denying having any kind of conversation with Cam'ron, contrary to Cam's claims. On Angela Yee's Shade 45 radio show, Jim retorted:
"Who? I don't know what that's about because everybody been telling me that and I'm the only one that don't know about it. I don't know what [Cam's] talking about. If the money's right [we'll talk.]"
Who does this clown think he is? This is unbelievable arrogance. You're asking for a buck from a former friend who wants to build with you?
He obviously thinks Cam is now "out of his league."
Reality check: Cam'ron has only been back for a short period of time, and he's already putting out better music than you.
You've been trying to put out the same album for too long now. And no matter how many singles you put out, not one of them do for you what "We Fly High" did. Best route at this point in time: Reunite with the man who took you from hypeman to the forefront. You need all the help you can get. Your career's looking like 50 Cent's: flabby and sick.
The borrowed "Pop Champagne" joint-- which originally belonged to Ron Browz-- didn't work. And that dropped back in October.
What became of all those Jim Jones documentary trailers? Did the DVD even drop?
Who gives a damn about "Na Na Nana Na Na"? Nobody. The only reason I posted it is because Cam dropped his video in the same weekend. And for no other reason.
To sum it up: You're not that hot.
You wanna pass on something that could possibly help you become relevant once again? That's on you. Your loss.
Hey... what happened to the Jay-Z stanning? Haven't heard any of that in a while! Bring it back, Jim! You need it!
"If you come down and listen to [Jones'] album [Pray IV Reign], and I'm not sure if I'm too close to the music or the project, but sh*t sounds like a classic. I'm a make a bold statement and put it in the same league as Reasonable Doubt and The Chronic."-- Dame Dash, NY Mag, Nov '08Yeah. Right.
real talk blogger. dude used to b nice. but nowadays this nigga actin like a straight homo. his career over, while cam puts out fire almost err day.
I totally agree with you, Reckless. Cam is getting madd love right now. Everyone wants to talk to him. Cam is very much so, relevant. If I was Cam, I would fly solo at this point. He doesn't needs those dudes for anything. He clearly was the engine that made dipset run.
I would just keep it moving at this point. F8ck Jim Jones, his music is garbage.
I think Jim said "if the money's right" because when Cam was asked if Dipset could do something together in the future, HE (Camron) replied, "if the money's right" so it's obvious that Jim took that as disrespect so that's why he's denying speaking to Cam and also why he is now saying that he'll speak to Cam "if the money's right."
i agree with jim jones becoming more and more of a bum... but it was cam'ron who first said "if the money's right". like i said, jones is becoming bummy very quickly, but it was cam who first said that. I think that you (the author of this post) may have misread what jones said. let me explain jones' comment (please note the punctuation changes)
"Who? I don't know what that's about because everybody been telling me that and I'm the only one that don't know about it. I don't know what Cam's talking about, 'If the money's right we'll talk.' "
Reckless is on point with this piece..Jimmy needs to put down the dro during business hours.. My opinion, If it weren't for Juelz, I never would of liked Dipset.
If you had the ability to keep up with news you would know that the "If the money is right" comment by Jones was an obvious jab at Cam'ron saying the same thing about a dipset reunion.
Hell even on this own site this is posted.

JIM JONES MIGHT BE GARBAGE BUT HE ATTRACTS PUBLICITY LIKE STINK ON ISH!
PEOPLE THE REAL REASON JIM JONES GOT PROBLEMS WIT CAM IS BECAUSE EVERYBODY AND HIS MOMMA TOLD JIM THAT CAM WAS A "PHONY" NI99A FOR RUNNING AWAY JUMPING THE FENCE AND LEAVING JIM TO GET BEAT DOWN FROM SOME CATS IN RUCKER PARK IN HARLEM. LITTLE C'S AND JUNIOR MAFIA NI99AS PLAYED THE TAPE ON THE NET A FEW YEARS BACK LAUGHING IN THE BACKGROUND AND ISH! JIM JONES STARTED TO "PONDER" LIKE IN STYLES P GANGSTER CHRONICLES DVD, ABOUT IS CAM A TRUE FRIEND OR NOT. WOULD YOU HELP YOUR MAN IF U KNEW U WOULD GET BEAT DOWN TOO OR WOULD YOU JUMP A FENCE AND BOUNCE ON SOME EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF ISH! HMMM.. BUT HOLD UP CAM AKA KILLA CAM IS SUPPOSED TO BE GANGSTA-THUS HE SHOULD HAVE STAYED AND HELPED HIS NI99A WHETHER OR NOT THE ODDS WERE AGAINST THEM. JIM REALIZED DEEP DEEP DOWN THAT CAM IS A FAKE PINK THONG TYPE WEARING NI99A AND THAT'S THE TRUE ROOT CAUSE OF THE ISSUES BETWEEN JIM JONES AND CAM AKA KILLA-LOL
KILLA AKA PINK PANTHER AINT HOT- HE'S A FAG-GOT-HAHAHAHA!
Not for nothing but I heard Jimmy was shocked to find out he had no ownership in the Dipset brand. Cam told him one thing and the paperwork said something else. When Jim realized how he got played it became personal and when he blew with ballin it was his turn to rub it in Cam's face but the reality is they were all at their best together. There's nothing like money to get between people and undermine a good formula. It's not the first time and it won't be the last. Hey it even happened to the Fat Boys. LOL!
