Sub O DVD did exactly what Ja Rule asked them NOT to do: include all the 50 Cent sh*t talking in the video.

In this video, Ja Rule talks about what used to be of the rap game and hip-hop culture, and of course, they bring up the attention whore 50 Cent. DING DING! Someone's nerve got ruptured on that note.

Why would Ja Rule fall for that when he knows that Curtis is currently thirsty for a marketing tool? Ja Rule's falling for this very same nonsense is the SAME THING that caused Ja Rule to loose the battle nearly six years ago. And now you can bet that Fif's next Saturday cartoon is going to include the Wanksta doll.

Needless to say, if 50 does include Ja in this rap beef stuff, it won't go any further than online. And online isn't good enough. 50 is going to need a miracle.

Through all the comedy that 50 is feeding to the online community, he's trying to disguise the fact that he's really f*cked. Nah. Not "f*ck Jimmy Iovine!" F*ck yourself. Because that's what you did when you got too big for your britches. Head got too big. Attitude got too uppity. Ego got out of control.

DECLINE!

Ever since Curt uttered those words to the Interscope big boss, I've noticed nothing but a struggle for this dude to keep his career steady. With each passing quarter, sh*t seems to become more and more difficult for 50 Cent. And I think Ja knows that, which explains the arrogance and cockiness I'm seeing in this video, which reminds me of Ja's appearance on that DVD "BEEF (part I)," when he was discussing 50 Cent.

Damn, what a difference six years has made. In fact, let me dig up that article when 50 Cent said something about his (then) current single "Get Up" doing better on the radio than "I Get Money"

"This record, 'Get Up' is actually performing better at radio than 'I Get Money,' than records that I felt like was dead right," 50 lied said. "So I gotta say that I'm in a good space. I'm just not in a hurry to actually put the record out. I want it to be perfect."

That was November.

It's nearly March.

Why doesn't he ask Iovine for help? Back then, it was all good. Pictures with those two looking all cozy and comfy. Back when Ja Rule wouldn't have DARED said a word about anything pertaining to 50. Even if someone paid him.

How the tables are slowly turning.

Stay tuned.

I didn't even watch the clip. I can't believe that I am now supporting the "get these old ass cats out of the game" posture but I am. 50 demolished Ja, and any attempt to come back just looks pathetic. That is why I can't watch the clip.

I agree with you Reckless about Jimmy, but I think 50 in the end will win. Just look at how our youth is in total obedience to him. Look at how all the radio personalities are in total obedience to him. I mean I can't understand why the conscious level of our youth is so low. Give 50 credit, he is smart. He is an expert when it comes to exploiting the ignorance of the youth. I don't think there have ever been a generation in the history of us as a people, who have been so asleep as this one is....

They love and applaud 50 so much and I don't understand it. I see a lost confused Uncle Tom where as they see a hero worthy of their complete submission. I remember Reckless having a blog in which he criticized some news reporter for making the comparison between Barak Obama and 50 cents, in terms of influence, and asking what figure would be more influential in our community.

Well, like Reckless, I thought it was a silly comparison, but I have changed my mind. The Black intellectual and politcally savvy image of Barak Obama is inferior to the Pimping Curly AKA Rooster image 50 portrays to the youth. The youth love those images and are begging for more of it. 50 is far more influentual and respected amongst the youth than the first Black President is...

So I hit 50 up alot but give him credit. He conttols the Black youth and they are totally under his command and that is an awful lot of power to have. I think that his BISD effort, will sell big. He is tapping into the a deficit amongst Black youth (which is Black consciousness) and exploiting it masterfully. They will do exactly what he tells them to do. He is the most powerful Black man in the world when it comes to the so-called American Black youth.

I am giving up on this generation. There is too much knowledge out there to be sleep in this day and age. Give 50 credit, Ja Rules doesn't rule, 50 does. It's crazy, but factual.

Co-sgin w/Bigup2bk 99.9% except the part about giving up on the youth...We can never give up on them my brother..We were in their shoes once..

Peace to Clo-Fresh:

Agreed, you can't give up on them, and perhaps I overstated it because of my frustration, but I can't try to help people who are so in love with ignorance. It takes up too much time and my ass is marching towards 40 (lol...in 8 years). I say it is time to cut all dead weight.

It is one thing to not know, but is a totally different thing to not want to know and fight those who are trying to spread some light and info. Life is much too short to spend on people who refuse to respect themselves or their people. I say let treat this sh*t like a coprporation. Let's identify our toxic debt and elimnate it. To move on with them is to destroy us all. We just can't afford to carry these kinds of toxic liabilities any longer.

@Big Up

I'm cracking up over here reading you wanting to throw the old bums out. I caught hell for that same position last year on here. LOL! They have NOTHING new to offer. Their time is up. They're clogging the lane. That goes for all of them, Jay Z, Nas, etc. I just heard Chubb Rock was dropping a new album, LMAO!

As far as the youth, some of these clowns/fans/posters are damn near 30 and consider themselves youth because their clothes are either too big or too tight. Youth are school age and the YOUTH in the true sense love Weezy not 50 Big Up. 50's base is white and/or International for the most part. He caters and panders to white stereotypes of blackness. That's his hustle. He supported Bush not because he felt that way but because the parents of his fans would still buy his music. It's all about the money and extending his run with him.

I see his game clearly but I think you sometimes take what he does to heart. That man doesn't care about anyone or anything but himself. He's an equal opportunity exploiter. He's from the "doing me" generation poularized by... Hip Hop of course.

Nimrod kows what he's talking about.

Are any of you dudes lamenting the "loss of a generation" doing anything to prevent it? Cause if not, this is just pointless complaining, pure and simple.

@Will

I mentor young men 14yrs and under. I consider those older pretty set in their ways. It's a job I don't have to do by the way. It's way I do in conjunction with my REAL work. I criticize gangsta rap and its proponents mercilessly because I see firsthand the influence it has. Now I'm not blaming rap but it sure isn't helping guide the youth in the right direction with its narcisstic values and material morship heaped upon impressionable young people who then look for shortcuts to obtain things beyond their reach.

It's tragic because the systemic self-esteem issues we as a people carry with us from slavery is exploited by design with the assistance of blacks who think only of SELF whether that be in regard to drugs and violence or music that promotes both.

That's all I'm going to say on that. Anyone who thinks I criticize anyone on here whether that be Tupac or Al Sharpton because I like to can't see the forrest from the trees. I put things out there for those ready to see it and they do. Truth is contagious. If all I affect is 2 people and they in turn affect 2 people each eventually it will reaach someone who's destiny it is to reach more. Every little bit counts. Unfortunately, we may have to sacrifice a generation. I work to save the babies.

@ Nim:

LOL....it is crazy how much one can shift in a position in a year. To be honest 50 is symbolic of the problem and therefore he has to take the hit. Sorry fif - that just the way sh*t goes. Our youth are too (I hate to say it) ignotant to understand what is culturally and pyschologically unhealthy from them and so I have to destroy these unhealthy things that they worship. You know that you and i disagreed on Min Farrakhan. However, once you shared with me your experiences, although I still didn't share your view point, I understood and respected what you were doing. Things that are unhealthy must be detroyed so that the children don't hurt themselves dealing with these unhealthy things.

I have desperately tried to get these cats to look at rappers and judge them accordingly. Don't judge a corporate created image; judge the true person. Unfotunately the level of awareness is so low with the youth that it does not register. They are developing their value system from a person who is a pure capitalist and has no regards or appreciation for human or community development.

50 has the mind of a drug dealer and he will sell his bullsh*t to every man, woman and child, regardless of color or social class. Unfortunately for other groups they have systematic filters to clense their children of that Bullsh*t and so their children will go on to be productive and live in community where self respect and dignity are the norms. Our children don't have those same kind of systemic filters to clense them. In fact, they may have an ignorant cat in the household reinforcing 50's bullsh*t.

People on SOHH are angry with me, because I take offense to the Huggy Bear/Rooster type images 50 is advancing. If 50 was MC Hammer of 2009, doing this, it wouldn't register with me at all. No one listens to Hammer. However, 50's stature is so big, and influence is so great, that these images do hurt us. Anyway, I am throwing in the white flag at this point. The knowledge is out there, and the technology makes it easy to access. If you get left behind it is your own damn fault.

It is time to cut bait.

@ Will:

I actually am involved in a lot of things with our youth. I have a business (outside of my 9 to 5) that is in existence because of the youth. I hate talking about my resume with respect to our people, because that is not what it is all about. However, there comes a time where you have to make an assessment, and service those who want to be served. I used to take the let's save all that we can approach but that is silly to do. God himself, doesn't try to do that. In all faiths I know, it is get on board with the doctrine, or burn in hell.

I hate to take it there, but I am seeing the wisdom in God's logic. Too much time is being wasted on those who are ignorant and apathetic and ae thrilled to be that way. Time to unload these toxic liabilities.

Correction:

To be honest 50 is symbolic of the problem and therefore he has to take the hit. Sorry fif - that just the way sh*t goes. Our youth are too (I hate to say it) ignorant to understand what is culturally and pyschologically unhealthy for them and so I have to destroy these unhealthy things that they worship.

shut up bitch, another ja rule lover.

Get off of New York's Dick. 50 is one of ours

THIS STATEMENT ABOVE IS KIND OF SUSPECT

I just have to say that 50 cent doesn't control anything. I'm the black youth of america and I love entertainment. 50cent is an entertainer! The only thing black youth will get from him is exactly what he his selling...entertainment. He didn't destroy hip hop, he is a business man like we all aspire to be. he may not go about it the way some of us will but the fact is, he is a representative of a black america. He grew up in poverty. Hustled to get ahead. Thats not everyones story but it is for a great deal of us. With that being said...that is why he has so many listeners. People can relate to what he is saying and be entertained at the same time. You guys are giving him way too much slack over nonsense. And as far as the older rappers go....Jay Z is the best at what he does. Nas is the best at what he does...and 50 is the best at what he does. They shouldn't go any place...if we didn't have these artists there wouldn't be anything to listen to in hip hop besides weezy. I have no comment about Ja Rule..50 shouldn't even respond to that fool. Ignore him and he will crawl back under his rock.

Yo I Swear u ain't nuthin but a G-Unit hater. how 50 lookin 4 a marketing tool wen he ain't mention Ja name in a minute. Evrybodii wanna be a Wayne fan not knowin he been out way b4 any of his mixtapes or the Carters. N if it ain't him its Kanye cuz he jus different...NIGGA 50 BEEN SELLIN THE MOST RECORDS SINCE 2002.
