That stupid Charles Hamilton vs. Soulja Boy sh*t? FINISHED!

Charles is a clown for even entertaining that cornball, and Soulja Boy is just a nuisance.

But in any event, Budden vs. ... Ransom? How random. I don't know what that was even supposed to be. Just something to get n*ggas through the Holidays I guess. Although Joe did make a reference to (who I believe to be) Ransom in this track.

I saw the Saigon/Joe thing begin to unravel a while back. Especially when Joe was going off on DJ Vlad, and used Saigon's name to explain the difference between REAL sh*t, and n*ggas just putting on a show. Some other exchanges took place since then, including Joe's dis record, and now Saigon's letting this sh*t get to him.

-------> Joe Budden- Letter to Saigon (Dis)

"Got your camera showing off your tiny townhouse and your girl car/ Cuz you aint a real star, not even a world star/ 'The Greatest Story Ever Told' wont be ever told/ Your mixtapes never sold, leak the sh*t let it go/ ... We see an artist struggling to get buzz and with the best production/ And look weaker when that Jay-Z feature didn't help/ Frontin with Conscious spittin about conscious livin/ I see conscious fiction from a contradiction/ Listen, I see a insecure nigga tryna prove somethin/ Getting desperate cuz his music dont move nothin/ So what he do, start flashin bread/ You can tell he praly aint used to havin bread/ Listen, I see a nigga stay talkin bout the kids/ But wanted nothin to do with one when it was his./ Far as SOBs... /You jetted on tape n*gga how you gonna lie?

Saigon responded to the above (via Loud):

"The little homosexual n*gga made a diss record, he want me to bite his head off," he said. "I said I'm not a battle rapper, but I'll take this razor and run this sh*t across your f*cking adam's apple. But I'm going to battle this n*gga just to show him that lyrically, he's not in my league. Never been, never will be.

I'm gonna bite his f*cking head off. He's not gonna pop up with no more Mood Muziks, no more Padded Rooms, padded bras or whatever this n*gga does. He's outta here, he's finished -- and I'mma beat him up after that. My word as a man, whenever I see Joe Budden, I'mma beat him up."

So now we have a "beef" (or whatever you wanna call it) worth keeping an eye on. And stupid or not, THIS is what you call a hip-hop "beef": When two rappers that can actually RAP go blow for blow.

We hear your threats, Sai. But didn't Remy say on her last album that if any industry chick says something about her, she's "huntin you down!"? But when Lil Kim was talking tough, Remy didn't do anything. So I DOUBT Saigon is gonna snuff this dude Joe when he sees him.

But I could be wrong. Be ready for the next round.

My vote is going to Saigon. For the simple fact that you can't underestimate the underdog. I know Joe's fans (Internet Soldiers) are going to jump on his side and ryde for dude. But Sai is no slouch on the mic himself. Everybody is expecting Budden to win, because of his history as a battle rapper.

But look what happened with Nas and Jay Z. Nobody expected Ether from Nas, or for him to comeback the way he did. But he did it. And I think that's what going to happen between Joe and Saigon. I think Sai will come out of left field and slay Joe unexpectedly.

Good point @ misswhatstheword..... nas wasnt a battle rapper neither and look what happen... he demolished hov with one track.... but this right here I dont know... maybe sai has a ether style track in him but even if he do... joey's no slouch on the mic... dude holds his own per bar... so you gotta think about it from the perspective of consistency... sai would have to deliver a knockout blow to win this bout... cause I dont see him goin the distance wit budden.... just my thoughts

GOOD TO SEE BATTLES BACK IN HIP HOP/RAP

I've been down with Hip Hop since it began. It's good to see Battling coming back to Rap Music.

We got 50 gettin at Weezy.

Now we got Joe and Saigon.

Rap Battles keep Hip Hop interesting.

Let's hope we all remember that we'll all people of color tryin to make something in this world.

So keep it on "wax".

But a good ole fist fight aint nothin to cry about either.
