Busta Rhymes Back On His Old Sh*t!!!

Busta appears to be back to that old Busta Rhymes many of us know and love.
The video was clever. Like the graphics. Minimal video h*es. Well, there were a couple. But this is not your average jumpoffs-in-the-club kind of thing. Hook is hot. Hmmm... all of this sounds familiar.
If anyone remembers Busta from the 90s, this dude was very ... outlandish. Different. Super hype. This is what I think he accomplished with "Touch It," but that seemed to be the only "Real Busta Rhymes" record he had to back that album. And then Blessed was never released, despite the (possibly successful) crossover sound which was provided by Linkin Park in "We Made It." But in all seriousness, that was most likely not a joint fit for Busta. Nice strategy. Wrong artist. And wrong label.
Busta Rhymes is a rare act in this generic field of rap music, so although he's a real arrogant d*ckhead, I hope he gets the shine he deserves with this next effort.
The new album, said to be called B.O.M.B (Back On My Old Sh*t),WAS set for release December 9th via Motown. But due to delays with his transition from Aftermath to his current label, the album has been pushed back to spring of 2009-- namely March. For now.
It's a good thing Busta bounced from Interscope. Even Dr. Dre can't push his Detox album out. 50 is flopping hard body. He better make like Keyshia Cole and start turning his part time singing into a permanent gig. If he does it right, vocoder and all, he JUST MIGHT go platinum. Or self destruct. He should have kept his promise that he once announced to SOHH: Lose to Kanye and be forced to retire. Hey. Maybe he should do a song with Ja Rule! That's sure to generate some PR.
But back to the point of this blog. Good luck Busta! Two decent singles already unleashed FOUR MONTHS before the album release? Sounds familiar. Sounds like what happened with The Big Bang. Sounds like another flop.

It is a bit biased. But 50 should have quit after the showdown and Busta needs to figure it out and quit hop scotchin.!
