Prodigy, Prodigy. Man, with every new blog and video he does, things get more and more interesting. But just as the MTV special on TLC's Left Eye-- which exposed some of her bizarre behaviors-- left many viewers in question as to whether or not she was a little off, P's attempts at enlightening the world could be perceived as either crazy-- or not.

TODAY I WANNA TALK TO YOU ALL ABOUT FLUORIDE. FLUORIDE IS FOUND IN TOOTHPASTE; DRINKING WATER FROM THE FAUCET, SHOWER WATER AND IT'S A POLLUTANT IN THE AIR THAT WE BREATHE OUTSIDE. FLUORIDE WAS FIRST INTRODUCED INTO DRINKING WATER AND TOOTHPASTE IN THE LATE TO EARLY 80'S. I CAN REMEMBER AS A CHILD IN SCHOOL WHEN THEY MADE US BRING HOME SOME TYPE OF PAPER TALKING ABOUT FLUORIDE. FLUORIDE IS SUPPOSED TO STOP CAVITIES AND TOOTH DECAY, WHEN IN TOOTHPASTE, AND KILL GERMS IN DRINKING WATER.
AS I BECAME OLDER AND STARTED RESEARCHING ABOUT FOOD ADDITIVES AND INGREDIENTS, I FOUND OUT THAT FLUORIDE IS A POISON!!!! FIRST, I FOUND OUT THAT THE U.S. MILITARY WAS USING FLUORIDE AS AN INGREDIENT IN MAKING NAPALM BOMBS FOR THE VIETNAM WAR. THEN I FOUND OUT THAT EVERYTIME WE BRUSH OUR TEETH WITH FLUORIDE TOOTHPASTE, WE ARE SLOWLY POISONING OURSELVES LITTLE BY LITTLE.
THE EFFECTS ARE VERY SLOW AND PROBABLY WON'T SHOW SIGNS UNTIL 40-50 YEARS LATER, BUT IF CHILDREN SWALLOW THE TOOTHPASTE, AS CHILDREN USUALLY DO, THEN IT'S WORSE. SO, IMAGINE HOW THE DRINKING WATER AFFECTS US. IF YOU GO TO YOUTUBE AND YOU DO A SEARCH ON A DOCUMENTARY CALLED "THE FLUORIDE.
And it goes on and on and on from there. Those caps make it seem as if he's standing on top of a bucket on a street corner screaming at passersby. Why not uncapitalize all that sh*t? It's unnecessary.
I find Prodigy's newfound focus on "informing" us funny, especially when I see the imagery of him posing in his ballerina slippers. But even still, the issue at hand remains serious. And although his claims are 100% true (Google it), the topic remains heavily disputed as many are fighting to conceal the truth. Cancer contractions in America have skyrocketed to a startling 1 in 3-- meaning a startling percentage of the U.S population will be, are, or have been stricken with the deadly illness at some point in their life. This, they say, partially has something to do with the Fluoride that lurks in the water we drink, the toothpaste we use, and so on and so forth.
Sooooo... what has the kid P talked about so far? Fluoride poisoning, a New World Order (that will never work because too many countries hate Bush and will have this negative image of America in their minds forever), European Imperialism and Oppression, Sean Bell, and... ahhh f*ck it. I'm not going to name them all. But if he would combine all of his blog entries he will see that he can release a book.

I don't know much about Prodigy. I saw his blog yesterday. His music scares me but he's mostly correct about fluoridation.
New York - July 2008 -- Over 1,777 professionals signed a statement urging Congress to stop water fluoridation until Congressional hearings are conducted. They cite new scientific evidence that fluoridation, long promoted to fight tooth decay, is ineffective and has serious health risks. Fluoridation is the addition of fluoride chemicals (usually phosphate fertilizer industry's impure waste, silicofluorides) into drinking water ostensibly to prevent cavities in tap water drinkers..
Signers include a Nobel Prize winner, three members of the prestigious 2006 National Research Council (NRC) panel that reported on fluoride’s toxicology, three officers in the Union representing professionals at EPA headquarters, the President of the International Society of Doctors for the Environment, and hundreds of medical, dental, academic, scientific and environmental professionals, worldwide.
Signer Dr. Arvid Carlsson, winner of the 2000 Nobel Prize for Medicine, says, “Fluoridation is against all principles of modern pharmacology. It's really obsolete.”
An Online Action Petition to Congress in support of the Professionals' Statement is available on FAN's web site, http://congress.fluorideaction.net and over 13,000 individuals have signed so far.
“The NRC report dramatically changed scientific understanding of fluoride's health risks," says Paul Connett, PhD, Executive Director, Fluoride Action Network. "Government officials who continue to promote fluoridation must testify under oath as to why they are ignoring the powerful evidence of harm in the NRC report,” he added.
As a result of the NRC report, the National Kidney Foundation has dropped its support of fluoridation citing evidence that fluoride harms all those with chronic kidney disease, not just those on dialysis. (2)
The Professionals’ Statement also references:
-- The new American Dental Association policy recommending infant formula NOT be prepared with fluoridated water.
-- The CDC’s concession that the predominant benefit of fluoride is topical not systemic.
-- CDC data showing that dental fluorosis, caused by fluoride over-exposure, now impacts one third of American children.
-- Major research indicating little difference in decay rates between fluoridated and non-fluoridated communities.
-- A Harvard study indicating a possible link between fluoridation and bone cancer.
The Environmental Working Group (EWG), a DC watchdog, revealed that a Harvard professor concealed the fluoridation/bone cancer connection for three years. EWG President Ken Cook states, “It is time for the US to recognize that fluoridation has serious risks that far outweigh any minor benefits, and unlike many other environmental issues, it's as easy to end as turning off a valve at the water plant.”
Further, researchers reporting in the Oct 6 2007 British Medical Journal indicate that fluoridation, touted as a safe cavity preventive, never was proven safe or effective and may be unethical. (1)
