Nas had a little more to say about Jesse Jackson running his mouth:

"A lot of people have not been understanding what's been going on. Fox News was the first people to report that Jesse Jackson was against the N*gger album. And then Fox News was the first to tape his private converstation, and hang him. Messy Jesse, stop making responses to Fox News soon as they call you on the phone. And then these the same people to hang you out to dry." ...

... IDIOT. Don't professional public speakers know better than to be talking badly about people "off record"? And then he trusted the treacherous Fox as a place where his comments would be concealed? Double doo-doo. What a fool.

(Props to Kendell and Steve).

But are people really taking Jesse's comments seriously? Have people forgotten that Jesse once ran for president... twice? And lost to his democratic opponent... twice? The old hater, who has been more than once disgraced by dirty scandals, is clearly resentful, toxically envious, and bitter. Obama made it much further than he did. And it only took one attempt.

In case you missed it, the other day,

http://www.nypost.com/seven/07102008/news/nationalnews/jesses_a_nut_job_119244.htm shady ass Fox News tapped Jesse whispering to a fellow guest about Barak "talking down to black people," and that he wanted to "cut his nuts out." (See video in the provided link.) Then Fox aired him out. Ahahaha.

With that said, we'll conclude this with:

Come on Nas, I thought you were smart enough to know that Jesse did that sh*t on purpose. I just can't believe that Jesse didn't know that his mic was cut on. He very well meant to do that sh*t. He can care less.

Wow, at times I simply can’t believe how damm gullible we are. I wrote a blog about this topic on 360 and like everyone else our silly people are weighing in and smashing Jesse for his comments. So what I am going to do is simple post my three very long responses in three different posts because I don’t feel like writing it over. My first post is in response to three pretty sharp sisters who charged that Jesse’s language was inappropriate considering that he is a Reverend, also that as a people we can’t hand the truth when some one tell us this and sadly the third that Jesse Jackson is simply jealous of Barak Obama. I am sure this is the spin everyone (except me) will have to this situation. Anyway here is my first response to these Queens who posted on my blog considering the same topic is as follow:

__________

@ all my beautiful sistas and Queens:

Yall are not mad at Jesse, are you. Well if you are than shame on you (smiling). I think that any anger directed at Jesse Jackson is miscast. Let’s put this in perspective. Jesse made a Saturday morning/afternoon Black barbershop dialogue oriented comment to another brother not knowing that he had a “live” mic. to record his words.

And yes my beautiful Queen, Donna, Jesse is a reverend and probably shouldn’t use that those kinds of references but many of the Black clergy have some tart mouths. My friend from college is now an ordain minister. He is a really moral and principled brother. He is someone I greatly admire. However at homecoming when the old crew get together and chop it up we all talk about our many female conquests in college and other funny situations. Now every once and a while he will curse when he talk about his time back in college with us. He will say “yeah, Renae laid it on me back in the day. That was a sista who knew exactly what she was doing. Shit, I hope I don’t see her today on the yard because that would surely test my faith” and he will start laughing knowing in truth that he would not a do a damm thing if he saw Renae . Now when we were in college he cursed like a sailor but now he curses occasionally and only amongst us who are his closet friends in the world other than his wife, mother and Jesus.

Now Jesse is old school southern preacher. He is a former pretty boy (no homo but don’t front - yall remember a young Jesse Jackson wearing his a “dashiki” and having a big curly Afro - looking like a Black Indian at the Black National convention and saying“we wanna turn on the lights - we wanna turn on the water - we want self determination” and you Queens said “damm Jesse is fine”) so he is use to women being around him and for most of his life saying telling him that he is fine. He is also a Q dog and a former high school and college football player. So that jargon he used is not really out of bounds for me because I look at his total make up and history and say “yeah ok, that is how the casual Jesse Jackson is around his boys when he talks and chop it up” and so I appreciate that.

Now what I strongly agree with, with the Queens XXXXXX and XXXXXXXX is our difficulty that we have with people telling us the truth. I agree with every word Bill Cosby said. In fact like I told people before if you took a transcript from a Minister Farrakhan lecture and removed the religion references from it and took a transcript of Bill Cosby’s speech and compared the two you would have a difficult time determining who’s transcript you were viewing. However Rev wright also told the truth and Black folks jumped on him. I challenge anyone in all of cyberspace to go get any of those speeches Rev Wright made that was in the media and if you find me one lie in it I will mail you or wire you $1, 000.00. However, we had a problem with the Rev telling the truth.

Now I didn’t see Barak’s whole speech to the church. I saw the new “bites” that they showed and that is it. However I believe that he probably told the truth. However the way you tell the truth can bother people. If your style of telling the truth come off as arrogant and condescending then it can offend some people even if what you are saying is the truth. So I don’t have a problem with Jesse Jackson’s comment at all. If he thought the tone was pompous and condescending then he has every right to have that view. I mean this wasn’t something he intentionally made public. This became public because he was saying something that he didn’t no was being recorded. And Fox news being the Bitch niggas they are made these comments public. They thought that they were fucking Obama and Jesse with putting this in the public. However all they did was help Obama. White folks are thrilled to death that Jesse wants to cut Barak’s nuts off for talking down to black people. White folks are thrilled by it because in their racist ass minds it say to them “if Barak is president he won’t give preferential treatment to the niggers and this is why Jesse Jackson is mad at him.”

Now Jesse isn’t mad at Barak. I also don’t think it is a case where Jesse is jealous of Barak. Shit, Jesse is 66 years old and was the understudy of one of the “baddest” black man to ever live and that is Dr. King. Jesse made it possible for Barak to be president. If Jesse Jackson didn’t exists Barak never could have been president. If it wasn’t for Jesse Jackson’s 1984 and 1988 presidential runs I am sorry but Barak Obama never could be the president of the United States. Jesse ‘s bio is awesome. So this isn’t a jealousy thing. It is just a case of Jesse’s barroom dialogue being caught on a live mic and nothing else.

Our problem in addition to not like hearing the truth is that we also don’t like for any one to be critical of Barak. I have a friend in Brooklyn who is in the Nation of Islam who is dying to rip Barak a new asshole for the things he said about Minister Farrakhan but he can’t because Minister Farrakhan has order every one in the nation not to say one disparaging word about Barak Obama to anyone. He doesn’t want the Nation of Islam to be blamed for anything if Barak loses this race.

I have to be honest I have some real problem with the way Barak shitted on both Farrakhan and Rev Wright but I don’t say anything because I want our brother to win and I don’t want one word that I say to change one person’s mind for voting for him. However, once he win some where along the line I will write a blog ripping him a new asshole for his pass sins but for now the stakes are too high for me to do that and so I give him a pass. However we have to be careful about giving anyone a blank check for an endorsement and a free pass. I mean I am for doing what we have to do to get our brother in but once he is in I for one will then start to call it like I see it and not pocket my shit like I am right now.

So my beautiful Queens - cut Jessse a break even though he wanted to cut Barak’s nuts off. In the scheme of things he really didn’t do anything wrong and if anything he made a tremendous contribution to Barak’s campaign with his comments. By the way, Barak handled that situation like a champ. Big up to Barak and Jesse.

Finally, I look at this situation with humor and nothing else.
1.

Well in response to my long post a sister said (Paraphrasing): I am not mad at Jesse Jackson but I don’t need to hear his nonsense. And yes Fox news are a bunch of assholes but you have to be aware of your surroundings. Even Jesse Jackson’s son offered remarks of repudiation of his father. Did you see those comments, Nasir (which is my first name)?

Now here is my response to her which again is long but is still with in the scope of this blog.

@ The Queen #########***:

Yeah, I guess I wasn’t offended by Jesse’s language because as I said in my other post my college buddy is an ordain minister and I know how he talk among his closet friends. One thing we always do as Black people is that we hold our religious leaders to these unrealistic standards just because they got a SO-CALLED calling from God. However, I believe that God will call someone who is living in the Devil’s den to teach his word. Now if you have been living with the devil for most of your life then you are still going to have some of the devil’s tendencies even as you are teaching God’s word.

In my humble view what Black people have to do is understand that these people are human beings and subject to error like every other human being. To me there is not a difference between thinking something and saying something. Withholding the thought only disguises who you are while saying it reveals who you are but the bottom line is you are who you are. So I have absolutely “NO” problem at all with what Jesse Jackson or what he said. This wasn’t a contrive malicious act at all.

However there are several things that really has me worried and almost to a point of depression about Black people. The first thing is our (not you, Queen) inability to see white folks bullshit ass intent to have us commit suicide. White folk are using this brother with our blessings to pick off other black leaders and I don’t like that. Rev Wright told the complete truth and not one living or dead human being can point to anything that he said in his speech that was false. The bottom line was that he told the truth about America and was attacked for it. White folks and dumb Negroes want to know how could Barak stay with a man like Rev Wright for 20 years. WELL I HAVE THE ANSWER. It is because for 20 years Barak has heard nothing but the total truth from Rev Wright.

However for political purposes he (with our help) kicked Rev Wright under the bus and once the bus rolled over Rev Wright, we applauded that bullshit. I mean I am not the smartest man in the world but I would love for anyone to tell me what did Rev Wright do wrong? Is telling the truth the wrong thing to do? Now if a person have a problem with Rev Wright’s style of telling the truth then I think that is an issue worth bringing to table just like I think Jesse Jackson has a right to bring a stylistic question about Barak’s methodology of delivery the truth.

The second thing that bothers me is I think we are becoming dangerously close as to being the kind of Barak followers that Hitler had in Germany. We are allowing him to do all kinds of bullshit just because we want him to be president. Brother ZZZZZZZZ is right. Barak’s nuts should have been cut off for voting for Bush’s fucked up FISA bill. However we gave him another pass on that. Jesse barroom comment took priority over Barak voting for that fucked up bill that strips always more of American’s freedoms. I want our Brother to win too but we can’t just let him act like a white man and we not say “hey brother, what the fuck do you mean that we need to get in touch with white folk’s feelings over affirmative action?” So I am really disturbed about us putting all of eggs in one basket.

The third thing: I am frustrated that we can’t see that white folks are trying to divide the Black community and use our knee jerk emotional reaction to pick off black leaders. The white man has never liked Jesse Jackson. Jesse has made the white man pay out of his pocket for his past evils. They were saying on TV yesterday “For years Jessie Jackson has used the politics of extortion by using white guilt to raise enormous amounts of money.” Well white folks, did you mothafuckas not create and institute some of the most fucking cruel and evil public policies against Black folks and if the answer is yes then should not you mothafuckas pay a price for that shit. White folks be honest - you could not care less about Jesse’s comments, white folks. Your intent is to use Black folks’ collective ignorance and use in a way where we turn on each other, divide our people and use us to pick off one of our own brothers who you have hated from the very day Dr. King gave him to us to serve our people. See I know you, white folks. I know your fuckin evil ass mind and your addiction to Black “tricknology”, manipulation and deception. However what sends me into a depression is our inability to pick through white folk’s bullshit and see for what is it.

They had the rapper Nas who I love, kicking Jesse yesterday. I mean they have this brother playing right in to their hands. We are such a programmed people that sometimes I really just want to give up.

Anyway, I don’t have a problem with Jesse at all. I have way more problems with Barak Obama then I do Jesse Jackson. However but like I said I am holding my tongue until he get elected but one thing that I will not do is go along with white folks’ plans to pick off our leaders using our ignorance as their weapon to commit these Black character assassinations.

Oh and Jesse’s son repudiation was done for political purposes. Jesse Jackson Jr is the co-chair of Barak’s National campaign for president and he also a young ambitious Black man who has political aspirations and since Barak has Jesus like status among our people - Jesse Jackson Jr didn’t want us in our ignorance to turn on him like we have turned of Farrakhan, Rev Wright and now Jesse Jackson...smh

His father raised him. He has heard his dad talk like this all his life. I don’t know, family. Sometimes I just want to take this money these crackas are paying me and take my son somewhere and just live my life and forget about trying to teach our people (not you, Queen) the truth that was taught to me by Black people and not Negroes. WE ARE SO DAMM GULLIBLE WHEN IT COMES TO WHITE FOLKS AND THEIR FUCKIN GAMES. I AM TRULY FRUSTRATED, QUEEN!

Finally a brother said (paraphrasing): “I am not buying into the media bullshit. I see this shit for what it is and nothing more. Black leaders have always had differences with each other but this should not rise to the level of anything other than some simply humor at Jesse Jackson’s public gaffe.

__________
Here is my short response to him. Oh before post it I posted all of this because people aren’t posting shit on any of these blogs sohh is posting anyway. This blog alone should have about 80 to 100 hits by now but it only had one at the time I posted my thesis....lol. Anyway here my last comment regarding the brother comment which again fit in to the scope of this blog.
_________

@ Brother %%%%%%%%%%%:

Me too -word up. I saw it as some funny ass shit, too. My initial reaction was it is good to catch Jesse in a “one of the boys” moments where he is stripped away from his political and clergy garments and is just being a regular brother. I mean saw his comments as some shit that is said in the Black barbershop on a Saturday morning.

And you are right, sure they have differences and little egotistical and jealousy issues but this wasn’t a case of Jesse’s jealously rearing its ugly head in an effort to take down Barak Obama. Jesse simply, fucked up and it was funny as shit (to me).

However when I saw white folks trying to spend this into some divisive shit I shook my head and said “Nice try white folks but we will never fall for that”. Then I started talking to Black people who work in the same corporate park as I do and surfing through the internet and I couldn’t believe my eyes that we fell for that bullshit.

We have to do a better job as identifying the tricks of our open enemies.
__________

I'm done...lol.

@Bigup

I can't believe how gullible the press is.This was obvious(to me)that this was an ingenious little trick pulled off by Jesse Jackson sr. And the Obama team(Jackson jr.)

They used Fox news because they knew they would take the bait...

Barack Obama comes out of this looking extra good in the eyes of white america for separating himself from "black extremism."

Question:

Do you really think Jesse Jackson is that stupid to say something like that while he's mic'd up on Fox news???

@ The Antichrist:

What's up, brother. Where is everyone else at. It good to see you in the building. Anyway, I have heard that theory thrown out there in the last couple of days and I think that it is one to consider. To be honest to me it look like a true fuck up by Jessse but Jesse may be a much better actor than I give him credit for. I mean I could invest in that arguement but theory I soundly reject is this theory of Jesse did this out of jealousy or to sabotage Barak's run at president. To me the reason that is a weak argument kis because of the very same reason you and I identified that a diss from Jesse Jackson is a present for Obama. I mean you and i clearly see this but our people to my great frustration is so damm blind to this.

Fox news over played their hand because they were thinking about how they could fuck up Black people but they totally forgot how this would play out in Black America.

So you may be right. Jesse, Jesse Jr. and Barak may have beat them at a game of "gotcha".

I think you have something there.
