I'll let the cover art speak for itself on this one.
Remember that kid with the young voice who was the only artist featured on Nas' Illmatic? The rapper known to many as AZ recently dropped Undeniable, and now he's back as a Nas supporter with his upcoming mixtape N*ggaz 4 Life. According to the email, the mixtape, dropping August 5th, will contain "conceptual n*gger records and freestyles." This single, called "The Secret" has Raekwon on deck.

What can I say. When I see people catch the bug and represent for something worthwhile-- even though I'm not sure if Nas' upcoming album is going to serve its purpose-- it makes me feel better about music. Big ups to AZ!

Its statisticly proven that kids from 1 parent household are 2 or 3 times more prone to be criminals. Also we think we're too good to work @ certian places. I am not sure if Mexicans have past us. I think it all depends on how you colloquially define “past usâ€. We have great economic wealth. We are not a poor people. Our problem is that we don’t understand the science of money. We don’t know how use money as a weapon. I have clients who are all races who have some of the most prestigious professions the nation have to offer and they don’t know how to mange money. However to their credit they give the money to firms like the one I am employed and in we will put it in an asset management count that we manage and help this person from f8cking himself.
However our people regardless of education level are ignorant as to ht use Black Nationalism as an economic philosophy to rebuild the physical infrastructure our community and social, mental, spiritual and psychological infrastructure of our people in is rejected. It is rejected because people are clueless as how easy it is to manage money. First thing we need to do is have a massive campaign on financial literacy. Anyway I don’t want to stray into that kind of a dialogue because I talk like that all day at work when I am not blogging on sohh or Yahoo 360.
However we are basically a people who lack knowledge and those of us who try to provide it we sh*t on them. A brother or sister can’t even have a movement of any kind that require us to fund it because we “won’t.†And if the Brother does get some of us to fund it if happens to buy a new suit we call him a crook and con artist. We are ignorant and ungrateful to those who try to clean us up of our ignorance. So it is difficult to solve the problem. Basically before you can even help us you have to kill the “n*gger†in us first.
I think every starts with education – not a training – but a true education. I will stop here for now.

Ok if you look @ the African American culture right now.(I'm a young black male I should know) we emphasize materialistic worldly things that bear no meaning. Like shoes, cars, and women. Like Biggie says Money, Hoes, & Clothes. We as a whole people are blinded and rappers are the biggest coons of all time. But real talk Mexicans have managed to aquire power in this country by consoludating their income to purchase grocery stores, resturants, and other places of business. For example how do you go to a gas station in the hood and see for the most part a Korean or Indian person owning it? I think thats a disgrace to US (I think you're black) To keep it one hundred I want to shop @ black owned business but the quality I usually recieve is marginal @ best and customer service is horrible. Mexican people have managed to undercut black america. I mean its sad but we are heading down because of our hate towards ourselves and Mexicans are heading up. Plus the Crack Era hurt us far more that slavery ever did.

With the latest release of his single, "Loud Mouth," off his "Another Day Another Dolla Mixtape," Dolla had no issues calling out loud mouth "rappers types" one in particular being 2 Pistols. Dolla confronted 2 Pistols at the event about his public statements and knocked out the rap artist with a single jab.

That is a great point about slavery. What people have to understand is that history is a part of you. To dismiss history is to dismiss yourself. Look at an adopted child's hunger to know who his birth parents are even if he is comfortable and love his adopted parents. This is ENTERTAINMENT and more so than the behavior of any of these court jesters I'm appalled by the relevance they hold within a certain segment of our community.

I willing to bet the 60's generation on back are ashamed that this is what they bleed & died for. Hey you won’t get an argument out of me on all those points. This is what I thought the homie React was referring to when he initially stated the word Assimilation. I am against us becoming tanned white people (in mindset). However it is because of a lack of history that these guys do and act like that. They sh*t on us because they understand we will forgive them for doing so and that we have no sense of self, anyway.
I went to a prestigious HBCU in undergrad and they indoctrinated us with the philosophy of yes going into private industry to work for white folks but also to take those skills and abilities and rebuild the infrastructure of our community and people. Other than my patents instilling in me the principles that they did my undergrad institution of higher learning is why I hold the values that I do. I have studied western education to its root and origin and I know what it is and what its purpose is. I know how western education’s purpose was amended to include us under a special provision that basically was to make us volunteer slaves. This again is why I sh*t on the traditional meaning of assimilation. I tell people go read the freedman bureau first and then let talk about this insane proposal of yours to assimilate (assimilate as it traditionally defined and understood). That is why I love research because research takes away the He said –she sai-d – it eradicates opinions – it frown on secondary documents and sources. Pure research at its finest want to deal with primary documents and sources so that truth can be established and knowledge can be born. Anyway; it still goes back to history and education (not training) if you want those cats you cited to act differently. See they are not using their money for us as a strategic weapon they are using it for self because their training teaches them to do so. Again read the Freedman’s bureau and it will make it all plain to you

I am a Mexican currently living on the boarder. Live on one side work on the other. I wanted to throw in my 2 cents and just say that there are not any minorities right now that are doing anything productive as a whole.
Sure you might have some that work together and help each other out, but at the same time they are shitting on the next man the neighbor or even the dude that is a different race. The Jews went through a lot and they managed to get back on top. I would think twice before looking at them as a good example of how a people should unite. The Indians were slaughtered and had their land taken away from them and now their are a couple rich ones that get casino money, but overall they are poor alcoholics just trying to get by in reservations. In Mexico the same thing happened to them but over there they don't even have reservations or casinos, the women and children are just out in the street begging for money while the men spend day and night getting drunk in bars. Mexicans got most of their land taken away when it was sold for pennies on the dollar. They work for next to nothing because they cannot demand anything due to not having any rights. Even so every few months most of them get deported, and they don't even get taken to the a location that is near their home. They find out where you live and drop you off as far away from their as possible leaving you with no money a couple hundred miles from home. They even do it in the middle of the night. This one night I was driving by the gas station in Mexico and there was a family including a 6 month pregnant woman and to children under the age of 12 who were dropped of at night with no money or food. The guys were sweeping just so that they could buy the kids something to eat. I took them to a friend's house that was with me and gave them food and let them stay until someone picked them up. How can someone say that Mexicans are sticking together when at the Mexican side of the boarder they were told that there wasn't a governmental place they could go to get food shelter and be able to contact relatives, when they knew damn well that there is one there. How could anyone mislead a family with kids and a pregnant woman like that.
There is no unity in any minority and the only ones that are unified, Jews, Mennonites, etc exile themselves from the rest of civilization clinging to their way of life and religious beliefs. They form a tight union through those beliefs but exclude the rest world and their beliefs and knowledge.
We spend so much time fighting and competing about everything that we have all lost a grasp of what is real or what is important. We create these fake boarders that alienate and divide everyone. At every level, location, social status, race, we are all fighting each other.
It's ok though, doesn't really matter anymore. It's too late. Once again we have passed the threshold, the levees are full and about to break. It was nice knowing you all once again, its a shame we keep on making the same mistakes. I heard this was our last shot. If a person is seeking your help when he is in a tight spot, than he is obviously vulnerable but he is coming to you because he trusts you. If a person cries in front of you (especially a dude) then to me that means he is at his rawest and realist and most humbled state and mindset and him crying in front of another dude shows the seriousness of the situation and the fact that he feels a kinship to that person. For me that kind of real bond you just don’t break regardless of the situation. It is the same kind of Bond 50 has with his secret male lover. If 50’s g a y lover came out and expose him with tapes it would kill 50 in a way that was totally unnecessary. So for me and perhaps only me you don’t record a cat given those circumstances. I would never do that to anyone. Now if a person says “F8ck Bigup†after I helped them if had such low character as 50 does to tape someone like that I still would not put that out there for the public eyes. I mean I am straight and this dude is struggling with addiction so why would it matter to me. I have help people in the community who have turned their backs on me after I helped them but I didn’t destroy them. I kept it moving. What did it matter I was still straight and these are people I wasn’t close to and they didn’t have an addiction. So for me real dudes do real things and buck was real 50 and 50 was fake with Buck. I mean if you are addicted to drugs lying is a part of the sickness. You don’t do what 50 did to a dude like that. So I just don’t respect what 50 did.
For me and perhaps only me that violate everything a real dude stands for. To me that speaks to a person who lacks morals, values and compassion. It speak to someone with a very small mind. Buck saying F*ck G-Unit wasn’t worthy of that response and 50 knows it. If Buck does have a drug problem you don’t put something like that out that could possibly send him into a drug overdose situation. If 50 really cared about this cat and really cared about his welfare he would not have done to him what he did to him. 50 is almost a billionaire. There is nothing Buck or game can say that will impact his current financial status. 50 own Buck because Buck is signed to him. It was already understood that Buck was never going to drop another G-Unit joint again and that his career was over before the tape so what was 50 purpose of putting it out. 50 is small dude, b. Buck’s career prior to 50 dropping that tape was already over. So again what was 50’s purpose of betraying a person who 50 admit is sick from a drug addiction.
So for me on so many levels it is hard for me to sympathize with 50 on anything but particularly the Buck situation. It is hard for me to see anything from 50’s perspective. I can never side with a snake in the grass. Anyway; let me get out before I bodied this kid again.

Popular hip-hop jewelry maker Jacob "The Jeweler" Arabov was sentenced in Detroit today to 2 and 1/2 years in prison for denying his knowledge to federal agents about seized jewels from a known cocaine trafficker.

According to the Detroit Free Press, Arabov faced a maximum of 46 months behind bars for withholding information on jewelry he obtained from alleged Black Mafia Family (BMF) co-founder and drug dealer Terry Flenory. Pleading guilty last October, the 42 year-old was sentenced to 30 months with an additional $50,000 fine earlier today.

The jeweler, who came to Ameirca as a teenager by way of Uzbekistan, admitted his wrongs during sentencing.

"I feel ashamed that I broke the law of this county," he told U.S. District Judge Avern Cohn. "[It's] been so good to me and my family."

After sentencing, Cohn set January 15th as the date Arabov must report to prison, recommending the jeweler serve his time in a federal facility in Pennsylvania. He has also willingly forfeited $2 million to the government.

The case began in '05 when Arabov was indicted in Detroit for allegedly offering assistance to the BMF. It is assumed he helped launder around $270 million in drug proceeds.

Arabov's long list of clients included various hip-hop stars including Diddy, Nas, and Kanye West.

All the ingredients for liberation is right there for us tied up in the money. See brother I love what you said because I can tell that you are a researcher. We have the money and power to repair our people and make them meaningful and powerful participants in this western barbaric economy however because we don’t know how to use money effectively and as a weapon we forfeit power for a reserve seat of servitude to white folks. Now this doesn’t happen by accident. Again people need to go back and read the Freedman Bureau and look at the things the document said Black could and could not learn. It is a must read for any serious activist. It is malpractice not to know what is in this document if you are seeking a leadership position of our people at any level from grassroots to global leadership.
However our people regardless of education level are ignorant as to how to use money to our advantage. I have suggested Black Nationalism as an economic philosophy to rebuild the physical infrastructure our community and social, mental, spiritual and psychological infrastructure of our people and it was rejected by many of the bloggers on this site
