Last year, the four-man rap group R-Side hit the streets with their blazin' Fatman Scoop-co-signed debut mixtape, The Relapse, which, although hot, served as only a luke-warm offering for the things they had in store for the future. Fastforward to now, and Hoodlum, Young Ceez, Capital E, and Jamel Ca$htro--all pulling together from the ills of Queens, Brooklyn, and Long Island-- are on the run eating once again, but this time with DJ Superstar Jay and 2X "Justo Best Mixtape Team" winner Wiz Hoffa (CEO) of Noizemob providing the co-sign.
Their latest offering, Co-Signed, is being led by the single "Rolling Out," and is now available on iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon, and all other music outlets. A video of "Rolling Out" is in the works and will be released soon.

S.O.U.L Purpose is causing mass hysteria, chaos, pandemonium--and even a lot of hating--with this Cool Kids and Jay Electronica dis record, called "Lesson A," {LISTEN} which has become quite popular on quite a few websites within just a few days of release. Most of what I saw is a lot of hating towards the kid Mazzi for releasing the dis; the backlash is thick. But nevertheless, the dis is pretty solid. And for what it's worth, a lot of people don't understand what fueled the motivation behind the scenes...
An explanation on that and much, much more chaos in store for early next week.
The hating is raining down hard. But after the storm blows over, the aftershock always comes through to finish the job.

A suspect in the slaying of hiphop legend jam master jay was sentenced yesterday to 17 years in prison for a spree of robberies.
federal prosecutors wanted the judge to slam ronald (tinard) washinton with a more severe sentence by factoring in the unsolved murder of the run dmc rapper,as well as a previous killing washington allegedly committed in 1995.
Brooklyn federal judge nina gershon declined to consider the murders to consider the murders in her decision and stuck to the sentence recommended by the federal guidelines.
"one might think if it was such an overwhelming murder case,someone would have prosecuted him,instead of hanging a murder on a string of robberies with a BB gun,"gershon said.(atheist: LoL!)
Jam master jay,whose real name was jason mizell,was shot in his hollis,Queens,music studio on oct.30,2002.
According to court papers,washington and an un identified accomplice entered the studio and washington "pointed his gun at those present...ordering them to get on the ground,and provided cover for his associate to shoot and kill jason mizell."
Washington,40,a career criminal,confessed his role to a former girlfriend.he has not been charged with the murder.
His defense lawyer susan kellman argued that after investigating the rappers murder for years,the feds have come up with nothing more than "gossip."
"if the government had a case,they'd bring it," kellman said.
"the reality is,they have no idea who killed jam master jay."

I am following up to BKB's question because I was thinking the same thing. They are portraying Buck as a broke junkie (which he may be). It really sounds like tattle-telling (which in my book is a level slightly under snitching but it is more B!tch like in nature.)
