Peace Bruh! Yeah the blog is weak today. Been lagging for a couple weeks now but not like today. I suspect the nice weather has a lot to do with it. That and the fact there really isn't much going on in rap these days. The entire industry relies on artists that peaked in the 90's. No one took the time to groom new talent so we're left with a vacuum. It's either old cats trying to hold on or young ones with no talent but catchy hooks or dances. Welcome to hip hop in 2008. It's gonna get worse before it gets better.

Peace Bro!! I just saw your post. Yeah I feel you Hip Hop news has been slow lately and there is a lack of true talent out there these days. But reckless needs to feature different artists instead of the same few over and over. Alright Prodigys on his grind. Ill give him credit for that. But lets cover a wider range of artists than him, 50, AC, Tymes Skware and a few others. That was a good look the other day though with 2 blogs in one day. I was like hold up did I miss something? Lol. The situation has to improve eventually. And when it does we have to support the real artists and not bootleg or download their work.

I feel like i get more politically aware when im on this blog going off topic and talkin to you and a few others about politics.
I think the usuals should migrate over to that blog and raise the bar.

i was also leery because i dont think that he would reveal everything.
so im trying to read between the lines and pay attention to details like his underlying intent or freudian slip ups in the book.

I'm glad today was a bust because in all honesty the regulars ARE this blog and we should be appreciated rather than hated on. People complain about going off topic but this is the alternative. It's almost as if a memo goes out that tells everyone when not to post. LOL! I've never seen the hits this low.
I have posted on the hip hop for prez blog but no one is on there. They need one of us to run that blog for them. I'd prefer it be a radical left wing conspiracy theorist though so I can have a regular punching bag. LOL!
