If you understand the evolution of this industry (from a business standpoint) then you understand that if you have stayed in the industry 15 years (10 plus trivialize shit) then you are doing something. this ish is getting very redundant, I honestly believe these young'ns R mad b/c their fave rappers can't hold a candle 2 the veterans, so they clown them over their age, there's no reason 2 hate on Ur elders.

What good is longevity if you don't make good music? Again, just because he's been rapping for a long time doesn't mean he's good. You idiots are so hung up on that "pay homage, respect your elders" nonsense that you are willing to ignore the fact that fat joe does not make good music IMO. In the music industry, respect should be given to those who actually enhance the art by producing quality, not for being too reluctant to admit that it's time to hang it up.
