So it looks like the dude Whoopi isn't dropping his Carter III until next year due to his busy schedule with "Sister Act 3"... so you can kiss the boost of Christmas sales goodbye.
Everyday, especially in the SOHH forums, all I see is 'Lil Wayne' this. 'Lil Wayne' that. I'm tired-- and I repeat-- TIRED of the very unnecessary overexposure this cornball n*gga has been receiving. I tried to get out of my biased ways and give this so-called lyricist a chance, but "Hello Brooklyn" went and ruined all of that sh*t.
Yeah... I heard those wack ass rhymes he was spitting on that track, sounding very what-I-expected: overhyped. And I was waiting for a chance to pull this n*ggas dreds, but didn't have an excuse to until I actually took a good listen to Hov's American Ganster yesterday.
How do you get on the same track that belongs to the very dude you say you're better than, and then spit some hot garbage that Soulja Boy could've done a better job at? I'm gonna tell you how: Lil Wayne actually wrote the sh*t himself this go-round. Lil Bootsie or Bussie --or whatever-- could've spit a better rhyme than that.
After hearing that track, it's official: Whoopi has a mastermind standing firmly behind his success, and when he saw Hov in the booth spitting off the top, he thought to himself, "I don't need any help. This is gonna be easy," and then went and ethered himself by giving his ghostwriter the day off-- perhaps to save up for that money he owes his jeweler.
You run off at the mouth, talking about how you're the best rapper alive, totally disgrace the cover of XXL with the preposterous declaration "I Am Hip-Hop," directly tell Hov that you're better than him, try to discredit the birth of hip-hop-- where you stole your swag, style of dress, and your entire image period-- and then destroy the one and only chance you have of proving yourself as the best in the game? If I were Weezy, I would've written, corrected, practiced, re-written, pre-recorded, and listened to every bar I spit on that track before I wrote myself off as one of the biggest clowns in history.
Might wanna lay off that vicodin a little bit, homey.
And by the way, "Hello Brooklyn" is one of the worst songs Hov's made in years. Stop working with this clown, man. He's not the "Top 5" this ringtone, pink bandana-banging-bunnies generation has made him out to be.

It's time we stop giving credit to sub par rappers who sell records...since when do record sales qualify you as a legend in the game...You can make albums that don't go platinum and still be considered classics, and you can make albums that do go platinum and still be considered garbage.
