Hov called into Power 105 to speak with DJ Clue about his upcoming LP American Gangster. When speaking to Clue, he made it clear that he wishes to be called "Jigga" once again. I guess he's really playing into this "taking it back" thing. He's taking it back to the 90s for real.
"Blue Magic" really disappointed the hell out of me.
"I'm about to smack some dudes around here soon...I don't even know why you did that to yourself, man. When you was doing that verse you shoulda been doing your job, b. See?"This is what LL
LL is a legend; you have to give reverence where reverence is due. But got damn. Why can't he stop being a fool and accept the fact that Jay-Z is not the reason why his corny album flopped? Like I've said before and will continue to say, Def Jam promoted LL's Todd Smith ten times better than MOST rap artists on the Def Jam roster. And it's all thanks to L.A Reid. He decides where the money goes. Stop placing the blame. Admit your album was wack. Go back in the studio, come with that real, and quit producing that corny ass music. No one wants to hear generic joints like "Control Myself," even if it embodies old school influence. Nobody wants to rock to no trash-ass "Freeze." That sh*t was wack. Your lead singles-- which were probably and sadly your best singles-- were f*cking wack. (Like Havoc in yesterday's video) F*cking wack. Wack. Wack.
Is he really in denial like that? Come on, man.
>>>>And I know a lot of my n*ggas in the hood been beastin about Alicia Keys and all that, so here's her brand new video for the first single off of her third effort, entitled "No One." And about those Proactive-less pics of her floating around the net? Chill, chill.
Alicia Keys' As I Am, in stores November 13th. Cop that.
