During a performance, 50 brought Remy on stage to perform "Lean Back."
I remember, some time ago back in February, when Remy expressed to SOHH much admiration of G-Unit's "great music," even though they’re not doing sh*t but cranking out tired mixapes and drowning in the mainstream arena. In fact, they haven't done a damn thing as a "movement" in years.
In any event, Remy’s muffled out-cry to 50 came right before her highly publicized split with Terror Squad, perhaps around the time one of the old Ya Heard writers published a column suggesting that she was “for sale," after a TS affiliate told SOHH "yeah, she for sale though." And Remy responded a while later, saying sarcastically, “Yeah. I’m ‘for sale.’â€
I would like to hope that Remy moving to G-Unit would do her some good, but they can’t even help themselves. 50 even came out and said he’s not pumping out any more dollars for the crew. So what’s the point? They're basically done as a crew, so I don’t see them making any ground-breaking hits in the near future. And let’s jump our guns and say she’s IS in negotiations with the Unit. All she’s gonna do is end up like her former cohortsâ€"M.O.P.
