Swizz is still reeling from the horrifying first week numbers he did for One Man Band Man last week. He provided a legit explanation:
"It's still my summer but you know...I put it like this: I took a test. And on my test I passed all the exams. I even passed damn near the finals. But you know just get one part of the test that you didn't pass. But I could sit here on the spazz out on the label and say 'fuck the label they under shipped my record, this and that'--they was playin accounting instead of being creative. So I'm like okay from a label's standpoint I get it. But from a artist standpoint I dont get it. But then, everybody like to pump the negative. And even when I was on the radio I coulda really spazzed out. Cause I got a lot of people that care about me that was spazzin out. I was taking over [Hot 97] Angie [Martinez's] show. 50 callin... and he's like 'hold on Swizz... how the label gonna do you dirty and under ship you when I was just on stage at Madison Square Garden and felt the building shake when you stepped on that stage... you not no regular artist...' All those points and those facts are right, but one thing I got out of being an artist this year, and I felt like I won, because I only expected to do 'It's Me Snitches.' I didn't even plan on doin no album."

Swizz wasn't getting no ringtone type shit poppin off, not with "It's Me....", maybe with "Money In the Bank" but enough people aint heard it for it to be that poppin enough for a lot of ringtone sales. But in defense of these big labels, a lot of money spent poorly mixed with declining record sales makes it hard for them CEOs to really drop a serious budget on anybody that aint a "proven" artist i.e. Swizz, who just wake up and hop in the booth from time to time.
