Staten Island Rapper NYOIL Up for Two Grammys for "Y'all Should All Get Lynched" 50's Dis to Wayne Hits

Warning: The content of both the track AND video might be too graphic, explicit, and extremely offensive for most... yes. Most. The little white girl pulling the black kid by a leash might hurt the eyes.

Incredible work. And no, not the freeze frame of the video.

---->“Ayo Chuck man let’s get this P.E thing going again man! Aye grab this n*gga Flava Flav off that coonin-ass VH1 sh*t they got him doin!”

According to Thuglifearmy, Staten Island's very own NYOIL (New York's Original International Lover) has been submitted for two Grammy nominations for this song, which was released October 2006. The versatile and controversial rapper, who spits wicked verses on the taunting track full of shameful call-outs on "Lynched" and spits venom at "wiggers" misusing the "N" word on another joint, brings back the aura of when Staten Island had hip-hop swag.

NYOIL has been submitted for awards in Category 3's "Song of the Year" and Category 31's "Rap Solo Performance." You don't even have to listen to "Y'all Should All Get Lynched" closely to understand why homie is up for such phenomenal recognition. If NY wins the award, this will be the first time in Grammy history that an independent rap artist ever bagged it.

NYOIL.jpg

His album, HoodTREASON, is currently available.

I haven't seen dude on a mixtape, and have yet to hear him on a drop, or anywhere, for that matter. Why he doesn't receive the love he deserves, I haven't a clue. His production is on point, and his raps are never forced. And if he would team up with Immortal Technique, that would be crazy.

Good luck. He most definitely deserves the nomination, if not the Grammy itself.

Hit up the Myspace page.

Go Hard.

I was watching the Black State of the Union address the other day and I was pretty disturbed. Not at the fact that it seemed to only be another meeting about what we gon do; but because I found that I had absolutely no representation there and neither did you. I have found that these so called leaders find that they need to have a gathering to grand stand and admire their own speech craft when they think things are going bad. I have had several conversations with Reverend Sharpton in the past and he has continually stated to me that my stance is for a lack of a better word “Too hard”. I say fuck it, yeah it is, we need to go hard and ride for a fucking cause because meetings and marches forums and séances ain’t doing shit for the community. There wasn’t one person on the panel who was under thirty years of age so I wasn’t represented. I found that Jesse Jackson was there and brought no fire with him. I keep hearing “Well I marched with Dr. King” that’s cool I didn’t and I didn’t go through the civil rights movement either, but I live in the age of the gun where Niggas lynch Niggas and White corporate Amerikkka pays Niggas to do it. We’ve been bought again, “I want to keep my record deal so I can’t kick that shit” Most Emcees are slaves. Most sports stars are slaves, niggas getting paid enough to turn their backs and not take a serious action in changing the social issues within their former communities. I have been watching this B.S. unfurl between David Banner and Rev. Sharpton and I’m disgusted, two grown as men going backward and forth. We need to stop asking for shit and start creating our own shit or taking shit to have shit. My uncle was a B.L.A. soldier he new the cost of freedom he’s paying for it right now, been trying to free your asses for 35 years and some change, robbed banks to gain capitol the whole nine, the embodiment of RIDE OR DIE. So what the fuck are you doing? I’m not asking you to rob a bank just to speak with someone about creating something together, making sure kids in your community have breakfast in the morning, organize a fund raiser do SOME THING. What the Fuck are the Folks doing? How many gangs are out there right now There’s plenty of Crips in Flatbush right now do these kids understand that it is by design that they support the penile system. Imagine if the Bloods and the Crips decided to own shit and defend the community instead of contributing to its destruction. Not every Black Man out there is a leader, there are soldiers and tacticians, intelligence gatherers, people prevail in different areas, a part of our problem is that we are all trying to be the thug and that role demands thug actions. The positive Black male influence in the community is gone so you have a generation of kids learning how to become men from Middle Aged White woman in schools, Black woman who sometimes have a chip on their shoulder about Black Men, and watching television. What Hope does the Black boy have because if he falls and the woman falls also we have what we have now. I’m tired of the fucking radio stations having the peace in the streets B.S. then playing the same shit that’s perpetuating the violence. The music isn’t completely to blame but it helps. I have decided to throw my name in the hat to lead because the current leadership is failing you and has been failing you. We as Black people have lived in a do nothing administration of Black leadership for years. We’ve been watered down by pseudo Christian principals of non-violence, and turn the other cheek tactics. That has never been the practice of the United States and it will never work for us. I say get yourself a gun, learn how to use it, form your own group of people you trust, invest together, TRUST EACH OTHER (trust is the biggest problem with our community), Invest in each other, service each others businesses expand with like minded individuals who ride for the cause, don’t be infiltrated, and take over your community one mind at a time, create your own school system and give the kids a real education, put neighborhood kids through college and make them bring the secrets of education to the community, and have your guns ready for when them boys come to try to destroy what you’ve created. Revolutionize God Damn it. I’m out!!!

This song and video is so true it's kind of scary.

song and vid is on point and seems to address how a lot of black people feel (im white so i ain guna pretend to identify with yall). but i mean, it smells like a publicity stunt to me. i no ur gunna say hes white so hes trying to put the track down but real talk, how is that any different from 50 creating a buzz from always beefing. dude is tryna make some controversial shit to get his name up there, just koz he ain using the usual tools of beef or glamourised ghetto tales dont mean he aint using black peoples suffering to promote himself.

dont get it fukd up, if its real then shout out to the guy for addressing the issue with gd production and rhymes, but dont get sucked in just coz u may identify with the images. shit may be a publicity stunt, especially sing as the guys kwiet and and got no buzz.

just a thought...

strong and accurate - back to the roots

DAAAAMN! Wake up black people. Everybody need to see that. It's the truth. Sad as it may be. And coinsidently, I just recently downloaded (& paid for) some KRS-ONE and Puba. Go figure.

I am a Black man with a deep black soul, but i just dont know what this video is soppose to do to me or help us black people, if yall cant go Osama bin laden about it, stop showing ourselfs been humuliated, to me it does not make yall heros, all we do is to talk and talk, why do u want to open an old wound, am sick and tired of people who want to use our humuliation for thier own benefets, if we cant go Osama bin laden about it, then shut the fuck up, and educate ur self to reach thier level. period.

I just realized that NYOIL is KIM from the UMC's. Remember Blue Cheese and One To Grow On? The cut's was real nice on One To Grow On. The Dj is Kid Magic Rock. He live in Columbus OH.

POWERFUL.....it's definitely a great message in the song....plus the song is tight in itself....Keep doing your thing NYOIL......for yall who do like hip hop support Joell Ortiz, the Roots (black thought), Common, Bilal...etc because those are artist that are actually making music w/ some substance

Big Sun don't write such long essays man. The way the blog is setup it comes out as a wall of text and it's impossible to read so almost everybody skips it man.

Oh and 50 also released a HOT track dissing a few people and Jimmy Iovine. That explains why he lets G-Unit albums through KOCH, so the money doesn't go to Jimmy.

This song is sounds hot but let's be serious. This dude is the one saying nigga and he probably is the most ignorant out of everybody he's talking about. You people fall for the gimmicks. Half of the people he mentioned as paving the way, actually treat blacks like shit and FUCK AFRICANS. Newsflash, whites didn't enslave blacks...IT WAS AFRICANS WHO SOLD THEM TO WHITES.

people like Kenya West comes out and say bush dont care about black people, cos he want us to love him, nobody cares about black people including Bil Clinton that yall like soo much, is time we stop seeing ourselfs as poor victims, and get up and see the fucking white man as equal , Japan was destroyed in the 2nd world war , but got up and now 2nd richest country in the world, we can sit back and yap on and on about the past, and our children will do the same and we will forever remain in the same fucking place, yall mad at some one like 50 cos he is moving on, i think all of us should have his mentality, and stop blaming the fucking white man, if u are mad at the past then get a suicide belt and make point, and i will forever admire u.

WELL I READ ALL BIG SUNS WORDS & I CO-SIGN. i heard common say something 2 that effect on def poetry- a letter 2 the law. download on youtube. keep the wisdom flowing.

Yo SW16 Shut up and mind your business homey. You dont have a dog in this fight.....Actually you do but yours is fighting for the other side.

Lol but yo VAP...he's right. The fastest way to get exposed in hip hop right now is to make "hip hop are dead" tracks, attack popular rappers that's out for coonin and so on. You'll automatically get a lot of exposure from groups like this and being in NY made it easier for him. Song of the year? Who heard of him? Look at Reckless...you know she's one of those Nas bandwagoner types. She's ready to say he's the best rapper of all time and she just heard about him 10 minutes ago. The only backpack rappers I take seriously are Common, Talib and Mos Def because you can just tell they're real. Everyone else is pretty much a gimmick. This dude is name dropping a bunch of people and Africa and this and that but he got most of the shit wrong and mentioned them when he shouldn't have.

Powerful comments BIG SUN.

I think the key to your post is TRUST. Many of us feel the same way you do. However, a plan of action and organization on the scale that is necessary to achieve results can never be implemented without Trust. Due to our tumultuous history in this country we have collectively adopted the “crabs in a barrel” self hate mentality, which sadly will not allow for the type of organization you speak of. Hopefully, one day the youth will be able to transform the loyalty of gang mentality into the type of positive brotherhood/sisterhood we need in our communities as a whole.

We seem to only be concerned about individual wealth, which is why the debate was so intense regarding Forbes' list of Hip-Hop’s wealthiest yesterday. Shits pathetic really.
PEACE

i cant wait for the NYOIL preformance at the grammy.............

NYOIL : C'mon yall, everybody say lynch the niggers

Audience of mostly white people: LYNCH THE NIGGAZ !!!!!!!

NYOIL: everybody say LYNCH THOSE NIGGAZ !!!!!!!!!!

Audience of mostly white people: LYNCH THEM NIGGERZ

NYOIL: Get the rope, and LYNCH da NIGGA

Audience of mostly white people: GET A ROPE AND LYNCH THA NIGGA

lol this is gonna be the theme song for Bill O'Reilly show.........and yall co-signin this dude, yall should get lynched.

I told everybody in feb. that the only thing left for 50 to do to promote his album was to diss lil wayne. I said it I said it. 4 singles 4 videos wasn't enuf. At least he knew it wasn't enuf. A kanye and lil wayne diss, and that's all he need. Bcuz I get money aint as big as he thinks, and it definately will be played out by september 11. Wowww... he gone have 8 videos. 4 b4 the album, 4 after.

Word Lefty. These people are idiots and they don't realize it. You are just as bad as the bling bling crowd that you talk shit about, if you fall for people and songs like this. You are a "Jason Whitlock" and if you don't know who he is, I suggest you look it up. He loves to use his columns to murder his own kind. Anyway, 50 dissed Wayne because it leaked out that Wayne was making a diss track to 50 and so what? 50's last album had videos for every song.

The only way 50 is gonna get some pub for his album is if the rappers respond. And if wayne is smart he should do what hov did to cam. He answer him about 1 month after can album came out. So he couldn't gain anything from it.

That was a very powerful song and as we all know it never saw the light of day and sure won't be winning no Grammy. Back in my teens there were a lot of radical young people who talked about conspiracy theories and many many concious rappers who got the word out about how black folks are kept down systematically. I didn't really believe in all that mess, but things weren't as bad as they are now. There certainly were no gangs on the east coast whose main focus was to destroy themselves and their community. Now I see their words coming to life.
-
During the 90s we had shows and music that inspired us and as a result black kids were going to college in throngs. Clearly someone got tired of positivity in our communities so now rappers are almost required to brag about destructive bullshit and cooning on TV is at an all time high and gangs are taking over hoods across the country. Lets see how many college graduates we get out of that.
-
I know the white man controls the music and television industries and I can't help but believe they are playing the role of puppet master in what is happening and Lord knows young people love to be followers and they are following the machine straight to prison and death.
-
Nah a song like this wouldn't see the light of day in this day and age. Very sad.

DOES THIS MEAN THAT BECAUSE IM WHITE I SHOULDNT LISTEN TO HIPHOP ANYMORE? I THINK THIS GUYS TRYNA SAY THAT WHITE PEOPLE RAPE BLACK CULTURE. ALOT OF RAPPERS HAVE ALL SORTS OF VALID POINTS UNTIL THEY GET TO THIS "WHITEMAN" BULLSHIT,I AGREE THAT THERE ARE ALOT DUMB FUCKING WHITE PEOPLE WHO HAVE DONE DUMB SHIT,JUST LIKE THERE IS ALOT OF DUMB FUCKING BLACK PEOPLE WHO HAVE DONE DUMB SHIT.I GREW UP LISTENING TO THIS MUSIC,AND BELIEVE IT OR NOT I HAVE NEVER BEEN FED WITH A SILVER SPOON, SO ILL BE GODDAMNED IF THESE MOTHERFUCKERS TRY TO INCLUDE ME IN THIS DUMB WIGGER SHIT JUST BECAUSE IM INFLUENCED BY BLACK CULTURE. ALL IM WANT IS GOOD MUSIC NOT TO BE TOLD I SHOULD FEEL BAD FOR SHIT THAT PEOPLE(ANCESTORS) DID BACK IN THEY EARLY 1900s(EVEN THO SLAVERY IS DISGUSTING, I NEVER HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT)

@ Big Sun..

I completely agree with everything you saying. I believe that the only way we are going to come up as a people is if we embrace the principles of Economic Empowerment. There is a man named Jim Clingman from my hometown who is fighting this fight. Check out his website....http://www.blackonomics.com/

My point is this, we have to make it happen for ourselves. We can't look to the government or any other group to improve our situation in America for many reasons. Our current "leadership" has proven through their actions that they are not effective and should be replaced by people who actually care more about helping people than about increasing the digits in their bank accounts.

But yeah Big Sun you on point.

Stfu bird you ill informed creature. Talking about nobody goes to college now. Word? Because I would of swore that even out of the limited amount of college aged individuals in the black community, that a lot of them are in college, but then again I bet you believe the myth that there's more blacks in prison than college.

Never were gangs on the East? Wow because I could have swore there was tons since day 1. The only difference now is that all of the old crews from the 70s-80s died off and the local crews in the 90s got absorbed by larger movements. So instead of 1000 gangs in NYC for example, you have 2 superpowers, 3-4 somewhat large crews who ally with them and that's it. It actually cuts down on the violence in the city compared to what it was and most old heads tell the youth to do their school shit and to get money, to leave the banging alone unless necessary.

The boy 50 killed wayne 1 hitter quitter, someone had to come @ wayne for all that homo shit he be doing y not fif?!?!

That was a powerful video, and i felt mixed about it. On one hand, i felt ashamed of the ignorant behavior of black people: the homo-thugs, the open hoes in music, and the youtube chicken heads. But on the other hand, i fill like this dude is opening old wounds for the purpose of causing a little controversy for exposer. i mean, WHO THE FUCK IS THIS DUDE?? no one knows him outside of the dirty, dusty burroughs. So has he done anything worthy of me thinking he's some kind of revolutionary? Hell no. He had Chamilionare's pic on there too. does this dude even listen to Cham's lyrics or is he just grouping all popular rappers together?

Plus, what i don't like is the fact that everywhite person that saw that video will be in agreement with him, cause every white person knows what's wrong with black society, a this dude just gave them a black co-sign. If yall read carefully, he was "submitted" for a Grammy award. That nigga won't even be nominated, and he doesn't deserve to be. He accused blacks of acting like niggas, and then used the word 30 times.

I think this video was powerful to me because of the offensive images it showed. if i heard this song on the radio without the video, i'd probably dismiss it as a B.S. publicity stunt.

50 is not dissing wayne, his speaking the truth, wayne and baby are gay

YOOO...did anybody see this dudes fucking myspace? He has a picture with a rope in a noose like he's getting ready to hang somebody. Please don't let me see this dude outside.

Real Talk says...

but then again I bet you believe the myth that there's more blacks in prison than college.............

Really!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't care to debate with you because you're not on my level but I have to say that you need to check the stats. You also need to get off from in front of that pc and visit the real world. I grew up in the 70's and 80's and NY didn't feature gangs such as the bloods and crips. That was mainly a west coast and Chicago thing. Here in Chicago, we had and still have the Vice Lords and Disciple Nations. That shit just developed there and it was mainly the reason why NY was considered the capital of black conciousness. Have you ever been to the South? I lived there for a short period of time and every brother between the ages of 18-25 had some kind of criminal record. It's the same all over the place. That track was as appropriate as it comes for the condition of hip hop as a whole. The stuff Big Sun is saying is the same stuff we were saying last year on here. I'm glad someone else is still carrying the torch for the real Sohh NYC along with Dre, Slim, My 2 Cents and others. Stop trying to carry your lame ass messages because the only one listening is the stan that you've created to respond and co-sign your ignorant posts. And you can throw out all the insults, call me old, make up some lame ass retort. It doesn't matter. You've been exposed so many times, I'm surprised that your ass isn't peeling from sun burn......... LAME!

I doubt 50 is dropping diss records for publicity...Anybody saying that is obviously not paying attention to this dude...This nigga really feels some kind of way when he thinks "other people think" that a rapper is better than him...It really gets under this niggas skin...

The music the nigga is dropping is qualty music, no doubt about it...I heard a freestyle on Kay Slay last with him Yayo and Banks that was pure fire...This nigga was shitting on Jimmy Iovine and everything...This nigga got his money up and is just ready to spaz on the whole industry...This shit aint for pub..the niggas really blacking out.

Ernest you are an ignoramus. Really what? You're saying there IS more blacks in prison than college? You also have a problem reading because I didn't say there was Crip or blood in NY, I was saying there was GANGS in general (bird claimed there was none) and I also explained that they either died off or got absorbed by bigger movements. So what exactly are you debating? Ignorant fuck

Yo Big Sun,

You were on point as usual and in my area we have started an organization similar to the one you were describing. We have a bunch of black men coming together to invest in each other and create businesses and make money together. The time is now for black men to unite and protect our women, children, and communities. If you're black it doesn't matter where you come from, east coast, west coast, down south, Carribbean, Africa, or central and South America. Black people worldwide need to unite and help raise each other up. Nobody is going to save us, but us.

That HoodTreason is serious no buble gum or ring tone ther. Cop it it is hard to find though.

50 lines from his new song

You make me wanna kiss you like Baby do Wayne
Make you call me daddy like Baby do Wayne
Damn now this shit sound so gay it's insane

Girl your ass Fat like Joe, you real sweet like Ja

Big Sun I see your really passionate about what has been going on with government, communities and the World, but I hate to bust your bubble you can't change the world. You can't change your circumstance but you can change your attitude. The world has become driven around objects like money and power. Our very own government’s goal is to keep society stupid with the media and entertainment as they embark on creating complete control of the world. Society as a whole is going dumb with all this garbage being fed to us through media, entertainment and radio. They try to justify their actions by feeding you excuses and lies. They pump all the drugs and guns in our very community, so we as a society can off our selves as they work on there complete dominance of the globe. Your leaders like Rev Sharpton is only out for his personal adgenda. His a puppet. We have become so self centered as a human race it's not even funny. Our world is plagued with diseases, sex, money, drugs, guns and selfishness and every year it just gets worse. Look at our kids running around saying "I'm going to buy you a drink. We need to turn off that TV, radio, video game and computer; and start teaching our children to read, exercise and teach them morals and integrity. There is no hope for this world. This is why you shouldn't be in the world, but only of the world. For all of you who know what I mean with that statement, because I'm not going to preach up in here. I have some links for you guys to check out regarding The Freemasons and the New World Order.

@ Black Friday

What quality has 50 shown since GRODT? I Get Money is like We Fly High. And he only said that about Jimmy for PUBLICITY. And if he really wants to be the best, he should rhyme the way he used to before and during the GRODT era. He should stop putting out monkey doo doo like Straight to the Bank. Whatever happened to material like Many Men and Patiently Waiting?

I'm sorry it's " You are in the world, but not of the world, which basically means their is no hope for this world.

WHACK... WHACK.. LISTEN IM BLACK AND FUCKING TIRED OF DUDES TRYNA GET ALL MARTIN LUTHER ON US. SHIT CHANGE ERR DAY KID........ DONT BLAME 50 CENT ..IM NOT... IM BLAMING MY CRACKHEAD MOTHER. IN 1993 WHEN PUBLIC ENEMY WAS OUT AND 50 WASNT EVEN OUT YET MY MOTHER WAS DOIN CRACK IN THE LIVING ROOM WITH MY LIL 4 YR OLD BROTHER AND I WATCHING. TAKE THAT WHACK PUBLICITY STUNT BACK TO THE STUDIO AND GET IT DESTROYED

you are wrong about africans selling others into slavery. that crap existed before the well known whites came back to africa. the so called arab and asians were transporting slaves on a smaller scale back to their countries. I would advise you to check out THE DESTRUCTION OF BLACK CIVILIZATION by Chancellor Williams. Everybody knew africa was rich in raw materials and other natural resources by watching the most advanced people on the earth, Africans adorn themselves and their nation. this was a large scale plot to take the continent over. but ill let you do your own homework you ignorant bastard.

Those videos don't have any of that creepy twilight zone music in them do they? I hope not. I watched that Freemason Jay-Z video and that stuff scared the holy shilznit out of me.

VIDEO IS THE SHIT, IT SHOULD BE NOMINATED.

I'll tell you what, 50 better cool it with the Jimmy Iovine disses. I know he thinks he's the man and errthing, but if he keeps coming at Jimmy he is going to see his career dry up. Mark my words. Either the disses will stop or he will be stopped. 50 seems to forget he is a puppet in Jimmy's show and that man has TOTAL power over his career.

VIDEO IS THE SHIT, IT SHOULD WALK AROUND WITH PAMPERS ON IT.

Watch my feet, watch my feet
Watch my feet, watch my feet
Watch my feet, watch my feet
Watch my feet, watch my feet

L M F A O!!!!!!

Damn that shit was funny as fuck. 50s crazy, that second verse was ill as fuck.

You better scratch it if it itch,
Then you Silver Surf that b*tch
Now watch me do it (Silver Surf that b*tch)
Do it (Silver Surf that b*tch)
Do it (Silver Surf that b*tch)
Do it (Silver Surf that b*tch)

WEEZY GETTIN SHUT DOWN

Don't tell me to read some book written by someone with an agenda and looking to make money. I don't care what some book made by some random guy has to say, when it's a fact. Now of course, throughout history almost everybody has been a slave. Whites enslaved whites, asians enslaved asians, but the fact is that some tribes enslaved other tribes and sold them to whites. PERIOD. You are the first person I ever heard of deny that happened.

Bird says...
^^
He's been dissin Jimmy Iovine. Jimmy dosent care, 50 probably told him, hey imma go holla your name out to up my sales. No way Iovine is gonna shelf his biggest artist. No way period. Ever since Game left G-Unit 50 been sayin Jimmys an asshole, talkin shit about how interscope is 'reactive' n all that.

LOOKIN AT THAT VIDEO...SOME WHITE PEOPLE HAVE DONE REALLY DEVILISH SH&T.

WHITE PEOPLE NEED TO APOLOGIZE TO OTHER RACES FOR THEIR MURDEROUS HISTORY.

THEY ARE THE ONLY RACE TO HAVE CONSISTENTLY OPPRESSED OTHER RACES WHEREVER THEY WENT

@ Big Sun,

These so-called "African AmeriKKKan" leaders R a bunch of boot lickin' puppets. Jesse Jackson's claim 2 fame is the fact that he marched with King, okay like U said, how long ago was that, & if that really matters, then why did'nt Jesse try 2 keep the fight alive instead of hope? Y did'nt he pick up the fight where King unfortunately left off? I guess Jesse did'nt wanna get a slug put in his ass, so he agreed 2 play by the rules & use Dr. King's name in vain, 2 get brownie points with the people, it's no secret that Dr. King was through with turning the other cheek, he was ready 2 bust a mu'fucka's shit, so they offed his ass. Hip Hop has become the same way, with a bunch of passive, Uncle Tom ass niggas gettin' pimped , NYOIL is right, y'all SHOULD get lynched!

E Frazier, I cee U duke.

@Big Sun said a mouthful points well taken and communicated. Alot of the problem with our people is the breakdown in trust but a breakdown in family and the downgraded role of the Black male in the family.
You think for one second that if you had a strong male figure or influence in these homes these kids would be looking to join a gangs? some yes but no to the extent that we have today- Welfare mixed with ignorance has caused that replacement and responcibilities of the roles of males in the family. YES we as African Americans cannot depend on the government to take care of any of our problems concerning our family, commuinities and our destiny. It is unfortunate that many we have grown to be mentally "institutionalized" by the same government that proclaims to support the us.
Remember Katrina!

That's exactly what I was thinking. I can hear him now:

"Ay Jimmy, I got this new diss track I'ma do. If you hear me say, [Fuck Jimmy Iovine] don't be offended. I'm only trying to make us some money. I gotta get people talking. Can I get you some coffee or something?"

Eddy G. says...

You forgot suck it like superhead. lol

why yall think 50 made this song for publicity?
this nigga has been the talk of the net for as long as i been on this shit.50 can walk down the street and say hello and that would be publicity.the nigga is a media magnet period.why you think kanye droppin the same day?this is the most buzz kanye had since he dissed george bush

Kanye doesn't need "buzz"...

You can't just blame whites because take a look at what our favorite hip hop artist, drug dealers and pimps in from the same neighborhoods we live in. Our rappers teach us if we don't have the right cloths, women, cars and money weren’t squat. Our drug dealers kill our communities by making themselves rich off your very addictions and suffering. Pimps push women like they were some kind of slave and sell their bodies for money possible spreading diseases and more low self esteem. What are we showing are ladies? We can take to the children. What are we showing them? That life is nothing but a big party. To be accepted you need to have these materialistic things. We all have a part in this.

Massacre was sick bro, ill tracks include, "In My Hood" , "I'm Supposed To Die Tonight" , "Outta Control" , "Ski Mask Way" , "Ryder Music" , "Gunz Come Out" Soundtrack was dope too, tracks, "Hustler's Ambition", "What If" , "You Already Know" , "When Death Becomes You" , "I Don't Know Officer" , "I'll Whip Ya Head Boy" (bonus track), only like 3 tracks tops on that Id skip. His work on the Re-Up,... theres like 20 G-Unit Radio mixtapes that he kills on, I mean damn duke has done alot since GRODT. People just dont wanna give him credit because they arent listening to the MUSIC, they're listening to the MEDIA. Or their favorite rapper or whatever. I dont care if you diss a thousand people (GAME&50 BOTH DO THIS) If you make hot shit, imma fuck witcha. I bought Devils Advocate, and Id buy Ja's album if its tight (which it wont be). I buy music for music. I like to argue the shit on here for the fuck of it, but it really dosent affect my choice at the store.

I think the Ja album will be good.

Lukee Lefty hit the nail on the head. This song and video have a powerful and specific meaning in the context of a discussion within the black community. They are something else entirely when embraced by the white mainstream. NYOIL should tell the Grammies to fuck off.

Yes it does and it's in all of us blacks, whites, hispanics, asians, or wherever your from.

Stop Attacking The Kids

To all the black ‘so called leaders’. Al, Oprah, Jesse, etc, etc, etc… I’m saddened by your current direction and current ‘pet projects’ you guys have taken under your wing at the expense of Young Black America. As an urban professional living in this crazy world, I dare ask, who are you leading? I listen to what you say, I hear you complain about the youth, and about the direction of our lives, the kids, and where Black America is going and yet I still ask – who are you guys leading? And most importantly, where are we going? Do we know the goal we are trying to reach before we get there? Have we identified our end before articulating our means to an end! Who are you REALLY reaching? Why do you feel the need to attack the young generation for the things we are doing? “WHO DID WE LEARN THESE THINGS FROM? We are trying to have fun in the midst of our traumatic circumstances. People are trying to make a living by any means necessary, people are voicing their experiences, people are speaking the truth about situations and honestly the truth hurts and sometimes it’s ugly. If music/hip hop/ rappers are wrong with the language they use, the images they portray in their videos – then come talk to us – I use the term ‘us’ as a collective because I’m defending what I have a passion for so this also involves me. Pull us to the side and say “hey kids, that’s not the way to go” and then we can say “change what we see daily so we cansing and rap about the roses and not about the bullets”. We will say, help give us better situations to create better verbal material”. Don’t just go running off to the media to air the dirty laundry of the family and not expect us to fight back in some kind of way. What you are doing is wrong and it’s pissing off a lot of people with less money and camera

time! Young Black America’s problem is not Hip Hop or the music, Young Black America’s problem is Old White America. In the young black community, there is a growing level of resentment toward the ‘so called leaders’ because you guys DON’T WANT TO REALLY FIX OUR PROBLEMS. You guys don’t really want to be on our side fighting for better school systems, more after school programs, more money for college funding! Where areyou leaders at when there’s a need to break down to freshman in college on how not to get caught up with credit cards by singing up for an MBNA card, with high interest rates that eventually screw up your credit and makes it that much harder for you to become a homeowner after you graduate college pending you can find a job in your field after you’ve spent all this money in student loans! Where are those seminars? Dubois had it right when he spoke of the Talented Tenth! Rally around us to help teach us about THIS life! It’s not our fault that the world is messed up and filled with debauchery. It’s not our fault that our communities are screwed! The problems in our community should not fall on our lap. And if you begin to hold us accountable for simply our words – then I will begin to hold you accountable for your actions; or lack there of. Right is right and wrong is wrong. You as our leaders should have taken a better approach to gaining the attention of those that you are dissatisfied with and had a conversation with them. You don’t scold your child in public without fair warning!

Al Sharpton: You run around towns and cities speaking words of wanting to better our community by cleaning up the airwaves. You hold rallies in front of radio stations saying turn off the music and clean the airwaves. You want to shut down local stations that are playing urban music when most of these local stations house and employ the same people in your community – the black community. When you visit any station in any city (big or small) playing urban/rap music, the staff is generally black. Now if those stations were to ever shut down – where do those employees go? Al, if you are for the people, where was your rally when the 3 college students were executed in New Jersey by black men. Where is the rally atfor those families and that neighborhood??? I don’t see you out there asking for justice yet that incident happened in a black community. If someone was to rap about “how f**** up black on black crime is and how even if you go to college you aren’t safe on the streets and nigga’s aint’ s—” – that kind of tone is offensive to you and you want to stop that! If that’s the truth, then why are you censoring it? No, you need to stop the crime before it happens so that there is no gangster song about a gangster situation.

Oprah: You recently you held a town hall meeting dedicating 2 days of talk to have an open forum about the “Nappy Headed Ho” comment from Imus. Everyone had their 2cents to say and yet the people that needed to REALLY be there were not at all on your panel of ‘experts’. The questions all were about “why use the word ho or b**** or nigga etc” yet the rappers in question ala Nelly, Snoop, Ludacris weren’t anywhere present on your panel. In my eyes you had all the wrong people on there representing and speaking on behalf of other people. Common is great but he’s not gangsta. If you had a problem with the true content of rap songs then where were those that do that kind of rap

100%? You want to talk about change, and about having us not call women in rap songs “bitches” and “hoes” but one thing I noted, you had all men on your panel of executives. Russell is wonderful but he’s not the Zenith when it comes to new school rappers or their new school mentality. Kevin Liles is great but what happened to Sylvia Rhone the head of the label that Nelly is signed to, or Kathy Hughes the head of Radio One or Deborah Lee the head of BET. If the problem really was about women and the “bitch, ho” term being used, where were those ladies to speak on their stance on this issue! They are the ones with the ultimate say pulling all the strings and yet they weren’t dully noted as absent from your panel! Oprah you are suppose to protect us, I can find more harm being done to the black community by the movies and sponsors you promote than any rap song.

Just like your son or daughter, niece or nephew… rappers are just kids growing into their own. They aren’t always right, but they aren’t always wrong either. If our path is misguided, then help us get back on the right road. I’m young, I’m black, and I’m a hard worker. I’m from the hood where mother’s leave their kids in the hands of strangers and never look back, I’ve been with killers, dope dealers, b******, church folk, grandparents, bad parenting from good parents, pushers, junkies, robbers, middleclass workers, but that’s the life I’vebeen around. Gunshots and church hymns usually go hand in hand in most neighborhoods. The grim reality for a lot of kids out there living alone is that life is harsh and cold; kids grow up faster than they want to because they are forced too! Kids are growing up in situations that are f***** up. So the songs we listen to mirror the things we see, the things we dream about and the fantasies we have! Don’t change the songs I listen to, change the circumstance from which it comes from—then the situation will be better!

Growing up in this world of hip hop it’s disheartening to see our ‘so called leaders’ leave us out to dry. Fine you don’t like what we say. Fine disagree with our choice of topics; however, the things we talk about aren’t new. We didn’t invent the term pimps, pushers, hoes, tricks, doobies, nigga’s and gangsta’s. Hip Hop didn’t create that. Those words were left here for us to use by you guys, your generation. This life we are continuing to live was handed to us by the people before us who didn’t do much to clean it up. There may never be a time that we agree on anything, but there is always room for change. As a family – we will agree to disagree but it’s the synergy in which we do it. If you are on one extreme tangent, and I’m on another, we will never meet eye to eye. At the same time, I will not allow you to bash, yell, condemn, and have a condescending tone on my source of refugee and happiness. As you leaders call out the hip hop community saying that we are wrong for what we do and how we do it, I am CALLING EACH OF YOU OUT saying you are wrong for what you are doing to us. How dare you guys not call Nelly, Snoop, Lil Wayne, David Banner, Jim Jones, Akon, Rick Ross, Fabulous, 50 cent, Young Buck, Bun B, Too Short and say lets talk this through. Do you even know who ANY of these people are??????? You are so disconnected from us that we don’t even look at you for guidance. If you really want to change something, start by changing your dialogue. Don’t talk at us, talk to us!

-DAVID BANNER

i dont know man 50 my take a L on this album. his singles so far have been like matches, a hot flame then sizzle out. he's on his 6th single and it does look like he's getting desperate, dissing wayne (which isnt a bad thing, lol), dissing irv and fat joe (again) jimmy, and wanting to have a debate with kanye(????), even he said that was stoopid.

the families of the victims of 9/11 isnt gonna be the only ones sad on that day. LOL

If you look at my old post you will see that I always call these dudes uncle toms and flav he's been a coon since I first seen that show.I think this is one of the best post you've done thanks bro.

Agree. Compared to where his singles have been in the past on the charts...where are these singles??

I just really think he beefed himself out of a lot of fans...

Like I say, real niggas ain't checkin for another 50 album like they were perhaps when GRODT or the Massacre (terrible album) were coming out...

As with all gimmicks, they fade away, otherwise, we'd still be wearing stone washed jeans and members only jackets...

E-Real
I stand corrected. I was unaware that 50 had been dissing Jimmy for an extended period. I was under the impression that this was new. I would have to agree Jimmy is in on it if it has gone on for an extended period.

NYOIL >>>> ANYBODY IN THE RAP GAME AFTER SEEING THIS...WOW...

song and vid is on point and seems to address how a lot of black people feel (im white so i ain guna pretend to identify with yall). but i mean, it smells like a publicity stunt to me. i no ur gunna say hes white so hes trying to put the track down but real talk, how is that any different from 50 creating a buzz from always beefing. dude is tryna make some controversial shit to get his name up there, just koz he ain using the usual tools of beef or glamourised ghetto tales dont mean he aint using black peoples suffering to promote himself.

dont get it fukd up, if its real then shout out to the guy for addressing the issue with gd production and rhymes, but dont get sucked in just coz u may identify with the images. shit may be a publicity stunt, especially sing as the guys kwiet and and got no buzz.

just a thought...

August 17, 2007 6:21 AM

What ?this is real talk even if it is for publicty I would rather him get that kind then to talk about fu^king my girl, and killing everybody on the block for drug money, and killing another black man over a color. This is what pisses me off the most you have someone who said himself that he's white and would'nt understand and then the first thing you do is turn around and try to tear this guy apart. You don't understand how is feels to see your people do each other like this. You don't understand how it feels to try to do better but can't get ahead because these fuck&ng uncle toms has everybody thinking that were all the same we need more people like this to stand up.You need to go to another post because you are right you don't know nothing about this. How the f@ck you gonna turn this into a beef song don't try to use that divide and concor stuff on this post just shut the f@ck up for real man.

I forgot to mention I have been home in Jerz for the past two weeks and saw was someone said on the blog. People were dissing I Get Money and one of the bloggers said something to the effect that yall are tripping because that song is being blasted in everyone's car. I saw that at home and have since fallen in love with the song. On the drive back to North Cack I heard it on the countdown of several radio stations even though I don't recall it being number one, but always top 4. One city even had Same Girl as the number one song! Me and my daughter were like WTF! I still cut for that Ja Rule joint. I don't care what anyone says.

Dayum that video is powerful, but to the ones he is speaking too can cause some serious reactions. I see Main-O pic in there and I know for sure he isn't going to take that lightly, then some other people he have in there have people to handle thangs like this. So I hope your team is strong NYOIL, cause I can see you will have to make some calls in the near future to them.

Man fuck wayne, all you niggas that like wayne are faggots for real. Ya'll like Joe Budden said "and these is star jones, they'll know a nigga a fag and still fuck with him anyway" that's what ya'll are, liking this fag wit a tight sag, get real. And don't try to come back wit well 50 kissed Game. He kissed him on the cheek, just like Itailians do so that don't make him a fag as compared to wayne and baby kissing each other on the lips. And to all you people on this black people need to stop using the N-word, I feel you but at the same time, c'mon you can't blame it on today's current rappers for why the word is being used. C'mon we've been callin each that name for more than 40 years since back in the late 60's. If we didn't won't the situation gettin out of control then we should of stop using it a long time ago. So before you criticise today's world of rappers you need to also criticise those who used the word back then also!

Best "truth hurts" video and song to come out in a long time....

Most of you people are brain washed by todays substance of music anyway. You will always find fault in positivity. And this is positivity. Thank you Sohh for posting this song, thank you NYOIL for making this song and thank you David Banner for saying something when no one else does. God Bless

You can never justify kissing another man and calling him daddy(pause) that shit iz disgusting, if u rock wit wayne than u a homo to!!!!!

@BrookB
Are you kidding? Bro I get money is tearin shit up right now and Ayo Tech is all over MTV. Fact is most fans arent internet reviewers. Example: GRODT Soundtrack sold 3million LAST YEAR. Re-Up sold 1+mil. Who does 3 Mil on a soundtrack? 50 has tons of fans. Plus are Ye's singles hot compared to Jesus Walks or Diamonds? Nope. Gotta look at both sides homie.

What on Masscre was trash? Id skip TOPS 3 tracks on that album and it had 20 tracks. I think 11 million people would agree its not a shitty album. So you're sayin "In My Hood" , "I'm Supposed To Die Tonight" , "Outta Control" , "Ski Mask Way" , "Ryder Music" , "Gunz Come Out" all trash? Maybe you dont like his style. But that album wasnt shitty by any means, unless you didnt even listen to it.

EReal, I have the album, I've listened to it...I DIDN'T LIKE IT!! The only song I liked was Baltimore Love Thing and the Shake That Ass Girl...I just didn't like it! Compared to GRODT which I could play all the way through...its no hate on the man, I just didn't like the album.

Not everybody likes the same music...its ok...variety is the spice of life homey.

I don't care if it sold 11 million albums...Vanilla Ice and MC Hammer did big numbers too, so whats your point??

but your not hearing what im saying
i get money is tearing the airwaves, okay cool but what single was i get money? single number 4 or 5?

and ayo tech is wack dont tell me what MTV does cause like 50 said they got weezy as the number 1 rap artist and couldnt explain why or how so mtv doesnt matter.

kanye got 2 bangers thats getting the same burn if not more then all 6 of 50 singles.

E lets be real 6 singles?? B4 the album drops? unless he gonna do a UGK and have like 20 something songs that album is gonna suck cause u know like i know he gonna have 15 tracks

THE MEDIA SHOULD HAVE NEVER PUT OUT THAT 50 GOT ALL THAT MONEY FROM VITAMIN WATER BECAUSE THE BLACK PEOPLE WILL HATE ON THEIR OWN FAMILY WHEN MONEY IS INVOLVED. BLACK PEOPLE WILL NOT STAND BY AND LET ANOTHER BLACK PERSON WORK HARD AND GET WHAT THEY DESERVE, NO, YOU KNOW WHAT WE DO, WE STOP BUYING THEIR MUSIC OR START HATING ON THEM BECAUSE THEY GOT MONEY. IT DOES NOT MATTER THE QUALITY OF 50's MUSIC OR THE GREAT THINGS THAT HE DOES, WHAT MATTERS TO BLACK PEOPLE IS HIM NOT GETTING RICHER. YOU BLACK PEOPLE ARE A BUNCH OF HATING ASS FOLKS AND THAT IS WHY YOU ALL WILL STAY IN THE PLACE YOU ARE NOW AND ALWAYS HAVE BEEN. "IN THE GUTTER" HATING ASS RACE OF PEOPLE. DAMN!

You just described perfectly why I like 50s music. ITS ENTERTAINING! Whoda thunk it? Entertaining Entertainment! WOW! Forreal tho.

1. 50 envies Weezy, shook of Kanye? In case you've missed it, MTV's newest correspondent Tim Kash caught up with 50 earlier this week. In the tete a tete, Fif addressed the leak of his Robin Thicke-featured video, MTV's list of hottest emcees and of course, his September 11th showdown with Ye. [Watch 50 Cent Interview Here] Kash did a great job throughout the interview. But apparently Fif is following the Before I Self Destruct motto during his Curtis campaign. He now comes off jealous whenever mentioning Weezy. [Watch 50 Speak On Weezy Here]

"The number one artist [Lil' Wayne], tell me his first single off his last album," Fif asked Kash concerning Wayne's hottest rapper status. "How you number one and no one knows the record? They put him in that position based on his features. I can get on every good record that comes out cause I'm 50 Cent. Who don't wanna...it helps them internationally."

He then added that the artists above him on MTV's list, (Jay-Z, Jeezy, Kanye West, Andre 3000, The Game, T.I. and Lil' Wayne) didn't exist outside of the U.S. Ooooo...k!

On another note, "Nervous Curtis" admitted that Kanye is better than him should he outsell him next month. "That means he delivered the material that generated more interest than 50 Cent," Fif explained about hypothetically coming in second. "That means he did a better job than me on his album if he sells more. Just like I feel like I'm better than him and when my record comes out it will be a direct indication of that." Poor Fif! He's looking pretty nervous these days. Maybe he's realizing that even some of his peers think Kanye will outsell him. [Watch "Rap Stars Weigh in on Kanye Vs. 50"]

2. 50 doesn't like Jay-Z and Diddy. Wait, there's more Fiddy. When SOHH asked if he gets competitive regarding Jiggaman and Puff's business moves, the Queens rapper replied, "Nah. I don't even like them." When told that his words could be misconstrued without clarification, Fif responded, "I don't give a @#*$."

"It doesn't matter," Fiddy continued. "They're not the same kind of people [that I am]. In business, I respect what they do, [but] if we liked each other, we'd call each other to talk for no reason."

In other news, Fif recently dissed Interscope head Jimmy Iovine on the mixtape track, "Southside." [Listen Here] "@#*$%s think Jimmy Iovine my boss," Fif shouts on the track featuring Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo. "@#*$%, @#*$ Jimmy Iovine." Man...Fif has a lot going on right now.

i agree with what he is trying to say but i don't like that he says these people should get lynched... i mean... knowing how harsh that is and what a heinous part of our history that is, he should have chosen a different metaphor. i, too, hold these people in some kind of contempt, but i would never say that ANYone should be lynched. that's not the kind of fate that anyone deserves.
