So Ja Rule made his way over to the Hot 97 Angie Martinez show to politic.
I don't understand. Ja is still (yawn) addressing the whole 50-stealing-his-style-and-career fiasco, probably to use this to up his buzz for his upcoming album. Not a good angle to start from, especially since the last thing he should be trying to do is remain stuck with the "that's the n*gga who got shut down by 50" label that has been his rep for the past four years. Move on. Start fresh, n*gga!
*SMH*
Was anybody checking for that new joint he came out with some weeks ago? Not really. Good luck fam. 'Cause it's not a good look for you right now.

Sorry Reckless Off the subject real quick got to address something with someone.
Dear Bird,
First and foremost I did not see your post until about 6:30pm at night I’ve obviously got a Stan (besides my F you’s are much more eloquent than that; just kidding but no really they are.) I took my seed for a walk to the park after I got done typing. To the topic. First I would ask you to educate yourself on the uses of Industrial Hemp, you can not smoke the marijuana from Hemp plants hence my reference to the licking of a trash can in East NY, it won’t get you high, Industrial hemp is a fiber that when processed can be used to make anything from paper to car bodies, it is the strongest natural fiber in the environment. There are companies that import Hemp from Canada which is a sovereign nation amongst other countries. My position was this: If the United States will violate its own treaty that is over 100 years old with the indigenous peoples of this land what makes you think you won’t be next? Secondly No the hood is not as bad as these reservations I would ask you again to educate yourself on that subject matter, the only places I’ve been that are almost comparable to the economic devastation are Arkansas and Kingston Jamaica., and I hear there are some terrible places in Mississippi too. I do not advocate depending on government programs like welfare and food stamps. I believe we need to teach each other agriculture there are hardly any Black Farmers farming is a very profitable business, I believe we need to educate ourselves and start schools that teach children to think outside of the robotic lifestyle that is the work world we need independent business minds. I’m for getting my shit correct before I can intermingle with anyone else properly. PZ would have you believe that I am simply a separatist; I am more of a realist. Picture this Bird; you are in an abusive relationship and your man keeps beating you every time you see him. Weakness will keep you running back to him for fear of the unknown, but strength will send you packing for the greater possibility. I think that our people need that time to regroup and reassess our situation. We need to find out who we are and once we do that define ourselves and teach each other. I’m not a racist I don’t have the economic, political, or means to impose my will upon anyone. My answer will never simply be seek Jesus because if that was the case I would throw all common sense to the wind and just pray for every situation to change. I would pray for the nation to be at peace, better education for all children, saving in Darfur, Romania and other ill places on the map, the answers aren’t as simple as looking in the sky and having faith. Faith is our last resort, our roll of the dice, what religious folks use to cover up the holes of unexplained occurrences, that ain’t me. What I am seeking is reprieve from those that have power over me so that I can get my weight up to look them in the eyes. The Lakota have the means to lift themselves out of the gutter and even though they have to means to do so Dem Boys took the rug out from under them. My question was how long will we ride as a people until we fold up. In my opinion the Lakota have the same fight we do right now because they willing to still try to grow the Hemp to eat and gain economic independence. As far as your suggestion, I’m cool with the summer programs but at the end of the day you still go home, and while I am all for people returning to the “hood†and giving back they can’t undo a lot of the damage of seeing someone shot or being shot, seeing your uncle strung out leaning on heroin when he used to be your hero. The system needs a kick in the ass the people need the heart to change it, and the government needs to interject when they are needed not when they see an economic development plan. Why do you think China town, any China Town in the nation has a very low crime rate? It ain’t because they have less crime it’s because they’ve got a closed community and don’t let outsiders in but to buy things and contribute money to the community. Shit they’ll set up shop and invade your hood with General Tso wait a minute they already did...
It's about that time.
Present. And I've got Stanchelon with me.
Good. Well let's get down to business. Speak Stanislas.
Hello Stanssional. I need a Stanical Chieftain like you. I need five sites made in the next 2 months. I need from you, some of the bandwidth that you seem to amass so effortlessly.
What’s in it for my people?
Twenty percent. And of course it would continue to increase.
And what does this mean for Stan Steamlia’s group?
I'll take care of the Steamlias, outta my share.
So I receive twenty percent for my builders, bandwidth, and my influence. Is that what you’re telling me?
That's right
British destruction of the secret society
The Thuggee cult was suppressed by the British rulers of India in 1828,[1] due largely to the efforts of Lord William Bentinck, Governor General of India from 1828, who started an extensive campaign involving profiling, intelligence, and executions. The campaign was heavily based on informants recruited from captured thugs who were offered protection on the condition that they told everything that they knew. By the 1870's, the Thug cult was extinct, but the concept of 'criminal tribes' and 'criminal castes' is still in use in India.[3] A police organisation known as the 'Thuggee and Dacoity Department' was established within the Government of India, with William Sleeman appointed Superintendent of the department in 1835. The Department remained in existence until 1904 when it was replaced by the Central Criminal Intelligence Department. The defeat of the Thuggees played a part in securing Indian loyalty to the British Raj.
Previous attempts at prosecuting and eliminating the thugs had been largely unsuccessful due to the lack of evidence for their crimes. The thugs' modus operandi yielded very little evidence: no witnesses, no weapons, and no corpses. Besides, the thugs usually made no confessions when captured. Another main reason was the fact that thug groups did not act locally, but all over the Indian subcontinent, including territories that did not belong to British India in combination with the fact that there was then no centralized criminal intelligence agency.
And history repeats itself.
hahahaha Ja is such a liar. what album did he realease last year? you have not been consistent Ja-you flopped. he's putting his own spin on the 50 situation cos that wasn't how it happened. fall off Ja seriously. ure material all became the same and wack not because 50 said people shouldnt listen to it.

When 50 came out we wasn't singing. He was spittin fire - Yayo and Banks was too. He was doing 1 hour freestlye sessions everytime he was hot 97 and putting out mixtapes everyweek. All that I mentioned plus the fact that Ja Rule was putting out the same old lovey-dovey tunes is the reason we all started riding with 50 cent.
I will admit 50 started singing like Ja Rule.
Anyone hear that new 50 cent & Justin Timberlake song? DJ Clue was playing that shit like 5 times in a row last night

Don't forget the Bobby Brown song
Big Sun
I get where you are coming from. I don't agree with everything you said, but I agree with the meat of it. I do believe getting a reprieve from the hood every now and again can help. That is the only reason I was saved. While I was born and raised there and did every kind of dirt imaginable I had school trips, I had government sponsored summer camp, I had government sponsored recreation programs. I had summers in The Bronx when there was still innocence in children. I had exposure to the finer things by my upper class albeit dead beat dad in my later teen years. All of those things helped save me because I could be a drug addict, drug dealer or convict right now without them. I was headed that way for sure and I fought tooth and nail for my street cred. Still in the back of my mind I thought of my father's life and knew I was better than the dirt I was doing. It can help. I didn't need to see white people doing well, because I always had that. It helped me to see black people doing well. That is why I think people that make it out need to go back and pull someone else up. Not just the rappers and maybe not them at all because they are forced to pretend they are still there mentally. I know business people who have made it out. Mostly everyone in my crew made it out and our history is known by those below us. Hell we were still getting into ghetto shit as adults, but we carried our asses to work everyday.
But I agree that we need to do it ourselves and do it together. The only suggestion I would have for the Lakota and for my people still stuck in the hood is to find a legal means. The Man ain't gonna let you do it illegally. That is the bottom line. There are legal ways to become finacially independent. Just think of the damage we could do if all the drug dealers across the hood had to give 20% of their profits to building businesses in their neighborhood with the purposes of getting out of the genocide that is the drug trade. There would be no stopping us.
I actually liked the last song Ja put out. I guess that is what you are referring to. I think I heard it here a couple of weeks ago. It had me bobbin my head. I don't mind him addressing the 50 thing since people do claim it is what ended his career, but I agree he shouldn't dwell on it too much.
Weakness will keep you running back to him for fear of the unknown, but strength will send you packing for the greater possibility.

lol. True dat!! Still if they give 20% we could do some damage. Just like corporate America out of 200 dealers in my small hood maybe 5 of them are what might be classified as rich. Maybe 20 are middle class and the rest are basically hoppers, but they could still contribute. They will build invaluable strength and a sense of responsibility from not just improving their lives, but their community.
You right though.

The free ride is over at 50 Cent's G-Unit Records.
The rap mogul has confessed he was overgenerous with artists on his label. In fact, Fitty spent $8.5 million of his own money to take a lot of the rappers on his most recent tour so that they could bring their entourages - and so that everyone could travel, as he says, "comfortably."
Not only that, he'd hand out hundreds of thousands of dollars to them at a time just for the asking, Sacha Jenkins writes in the new issue of XXL magazine. "Whether I got to give them $500,000 or $300,000 ... Just 'cause they want $300,000 more to make what they [are] doing at the time comfortable. Like, 'yo, I want to get this new place over here.' "
Sure, 50's got plenty of do-re-mi: His albums "Get Rich or Die Tryin' " and "The Massacre" sold 20 million copies combined. And though his album "curtis" is delayed till September, he's getting a payday playing a boxer in the Nicolas Cage movie "The Dance," and a drug dealer in "Righteous Kill" with Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. And there are the clothing and sneaker lines - and at least $100 million more he stands to make now that coca-cola has bought Glaceau, which owns Fitty's Formula 50 Vitamin Water.
But still, he called a meeting and told the artists at his label that the free ride was over.
"Laze was there as representation of M.O.P., Havoc and Prodigy," he told the hip-hop mag. "Banks, Buck. Spider was on the phone. Olivia was there. Sha Money was there. I broke it down. I told them I wouldn't be assisting them financially anymore. Pretty much I was telling them I wouldn't be there. [In the past] they'd make a lot of money and spend a lot of money and have me there to fix it."
There was another problem. "I looked around the room, and I was the only person with G-Unit sneakers on. But they were being paid," he adds. "It had become the norm for the check to come, but they were no longer wearing the clothes."
Still, 50 lives in the largest mansion in connecticut - Mike Tyson's former spread. He moved there from a basement room in his grandmother's house in Queens, where, in a visit beautifully shot by Ben Watts, 50 ruminates: "When I come back here ... it's like my feet are on the ground."

This whole campaign on getting people to snitch has gone to far!!! I'm all for the people snitching in order to get murders, rapist, drug dealers, etc locked up.
But when it comes to driving my car 120 mph on the highway, that's just dumb.
I made a fast trip to NYC last night and the fucking New Jersey Police has signs flashing that say:
"Report abusive Drives call #77 on your cell phone"
I say fuck that let the cops catch me in the act not some dumb fuck that I cut off 20 miles back!!!
Another reason why I think this is stupid is because in New Jersey it's illegal to use a cell phone while your driving. So these asshole Highway Patrol want us to break the law so we can help them pull people over? Are you kidding me!!!
@Eddy
Man, I would wear G-Unit shoes, clothes, all damn day if fiddys gonna cut me a 300K check every 6 months, shit.

Like I said, I have nothin against dealers, Im just saying that using drug money to do somethin good, aint really all that good. And its actually bad, cuz its giving thousands of other broke ass dealers the hope that one day, they could be successful legitmately from washing drug money. Which, whoever has done it in the past, i give props, but it aint good ppl to have as role models tho. Anyway, this conversation is gettin kinda pointless cuz people do what they have to do, Im just talkin shit

Did you see Lil Waynes new mixtape cover for The Rapper Eater. This dude is out of his mind. Does he really want it with Jay? "Like I said, I have nothin against dealers,"
You don't?
How come?
Did you know that drug dealers are feeding posion to the community, use intimidation to stop people from telling on them, destroy communitys? Not to mention killing other drug dealers, and anyone that gets in their way!
Drug dealers investing in the community, great idea! Not really, what you are saying is it is okay to keep the community down, keep people down, as long as some of the money goes to building the community up, only to destroy it again!
Lets start the start snitching movement, let the drug dealers, murders, rapist and all criminals know that we aren't going to have them in the community anymore, call me a rat, snitch whatever you want, I call myself a man, a man that gives enough of a shit to do something!

Posted by: slimgoody at July 6, 2007 10:38 AM
You mean similes not metaphors, there's a difference.
This is how Lil Wayne put together those "mind boggling" verses:
1. Pick a Verb. Preferably a verb about running away from the law or from an assailant. I.E. Duck, Run, Dodge or maybe Stop, Drop or Roll. Lil' Wayne LOVES stopping, dropping and rolling. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
2. Connnect the verb to some sort of simile. This is crucial. Every single Lil' Wayne line must contain some sort of relatively obvious simile. So maybe you can "duck like Scrooge." "Run like a bloody nose." Or even "Dodge like Kansas." You can do metaphors but try to steer away from doing this too often, lest people think that you are a different ghost-writer. That is bad. Also for bonus points talk about how "sweet" you are. Lil' Wayne loves talking about being sweet like a Tahitian Treat or some other delicacy high in sucrose.
@EReal, Eddy, & Brooklyn B
I really don't get it...The shit I said wasn't half as bad as what yall niggas said and he chooses to ban the female??? WTF? I think it's because his ass really is gay and mad cause he can't be me, lol...why else would he keep yall on??? He's pussy if I ever saw one...I have never seen a "man" so emo/homotional...it's disgusting.
I think were gonna have to shit on his lawn to get banned.
As far a Wayne goes I think he's crazy but at least he's goin at the best. If he really wants to be addressed as the best rapper alive goin at Jay is neccessary.

Why shut down the drug dealers in the hood, they are not the ones bringing it into the country. If your still smoking crack, shootin dope or any other hard drug, don't blame the drug dealers, blame yourself for the stupidity. Every one knows the effects drugs have on them and there community, but they still use them. So why not get paid off of them. The dealers in the hood don't even see the real money, they have families to raise too. Everybody's not mentally conditioned to listen to someone telling them what to do all day long and wait for a paycheck for work you did two weeeks ago. Do you know the life that drug dealer had to live and why he is selling drugs, maybe he or she is putting themselves thru college, so they can better there life the right way. Look at Prohibation, liquor was illegal, now it's everywhere. America was built on illegal activity, but once it hits the hood and a black or hispanic person tries to get a come up, then it's a problem.
Im not against drug dealing itself, Im just against drugdealers tryinna set up an example, or act as role models, if you deal, do what you do, just keep it real...
That has to be the stupidist thing I have ever read on here! next to any post by PZ that is, keep it real? What are you 12! what dose that mean, so a drug dealer can ruin your community, by in association have innocent people killed, but as long as they keep it real? you know what that is real stupid!
Bird
I am not saying the justice system works, but we need to show all the youth there is another way, not just an NBA, rapper, or drug dealer way! We should start with this "one" character,

Wayne has a certin style. I like him from time to time. Mostly when he's actually riding the beat instead of changin his pitch. But he isnt even the best from his label, or from his region, so I DGAF what he says he isnt the best rapper alive. I also dont think JayZ is the best rapper alive. So whatev.
I AM ON EV ER Y THING.
I dont get how you put out so much cotdamned material, like 100,000 mixtapes, and you dont get any better. There is no progression in his style or delivery and the best verses Ive heard him drop, the ones where he actually rides the beat and dosent change pitch are his R&B crossover verses. WACK. lol. Naw, he ARITE ARITE ARITE, but I dont even think duke is nice yet.
@Slim
I think this was pretty slick what Jay threw out. Better then that your 44 (not acurate) played out bullshit. I am not even a big Jay guy but a few bars and already putting dude in his place. IMO.

get it how you live and let them get it how they live.
Posted by: Big Sun at July 6, 2007 2:56 AM

Aight, now PZ gets to speak up. Sun, you got Christianity twisted if you think it's about standin round with ya head up waitin on somethin to happen while the world just passes around you. See...you speakin a stereotype of Christianity all the while tryin to break free from one yourself.
This verse clears it up. One can not be a "Christian" and claim the faith without putting that faith to work. Faith without deeds is dead faith, and we know that Christ lives...so how can you have dead faith in a living savior? And my belief is that getting out there in the community and making a difference with EVERYONE by showing love is the way it's done. That's what JESUS did.
James 2: 14What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? 15Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. 16If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? 17In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. 18But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do.
19You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder. 20You foolish man, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless[d]? 21Was not our ancestor Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? 22You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. 23And the scripture was fulfilled that says, "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,"[e] and he was called God's friend. 24You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone. 25In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction? 26As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead."
While Christians like myself and the ones I roll with our out there in these streets, and feeding the poor and showing love to EVERYONE..we are attacked, and those we go to are told that we are wicked...and that they should withdraw from us because of the color of our skin? Is it better for the world that we feed the poor, or that we not feed the poor?
Sun...you speak all these things, yet refuse to discuss. You claim immunity from dealing with the simple issues I bring to you by ignoring them based on the color of my skin and my belief in the savior.
I show you respect because it is important that someone uplift and encourage, and you still think I'm a snake oil salesman. lol Or a cave dweller. While your cause is noble, the driving force is dangerous. It's not based on love, but rather a reactionary result to what you feel is an attack by the "devils" on you and "your people." So it's a defense, versus an offense.
Please...speak up and tell me where I'm wrong. You speak of being a realist...well, the realist sees things as they are and should not only be looking around the block to find out where to make change, but be looking past the block to determine where the change he is seeking will leave those affected in the far future. Separatism is a form of destruction, no matter how much one party or the other benefits from it. Ask the Nazis. Ask the old white slave owners or slaves. Ask the Sunnis and Shiites.
Love and inclusion is the answer. YES, begin RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE, but initiate and effect a change that goes BEYOND
where YOU can ever be on your own.

And history repeats itself.

AMEN! And it is the THUGGERY that was the issue, NOT a race issue. So the issue was blind to color, and not an oppression of "a people", but more so a mindstate. And this is evidence that the mindstate strives in all races, and the factors are the same. The only factor NOT similar to all instances, is the color. That is the ONLY variable.
SO WAKE THE HELL UP PEOPLE!
Ethan, dumbass by sayin keep it real I mean, dont try to act like you're the shit, or buy everyone turkey on thanksgiving, just do what you need to survive. Cuz its either you get them or they get you... but dont pretend to be a role model just cuz you washed some drug money...
You should join 'the save a whale foundation' or something, be more realistic. Stop with the war on drugs, thats like fighting against prostitution, pointless, besides if there wasnt any prostitution Etan wouldnt be here.

The point PZ was making is that how can someone clown a person's pics and blogs if they too scared to show their face...You never clowned his pics, blogs, kids, etc. So that's the difference. Mine isn't private anymore so you can check it too:)
It's very childish of someone to keep speaking on anyone's page when they ass prolly look like Gyant's mini me...if you got the balls and ignorance to talk trash at least show your face coward...that goes for those speaking on Gyant as well. I would luv to c yall face.

See...you a coward cuz you bringin kids into knowing I'd slap your lips to the side of your face in person.
It shows your heart, cuz your flexing on the computer the traits that you are too weak to possess in person.
And the reason you take it there, about my kids and real stuff like that...is because I've struck a nerve about the real you...so you lash out. It's ok...while I've had to work to figure out the real you, God has known you since the beginning. Shows you how great God is...cuz He loves you and accepts you just like you are. Me? Well...I'd punch you in the face. I'm working on that though.

See I didnt look at it that way. Artists progress change sounds, try new things (return of the mac), ect. I took it for what it is. These cats are older now, and different, they will never make another Murda Musik, they proved that with Amerikaz Most Wanted, IMO. I just gave it a chance. No matter where they went, they wouldve dissapointed anyone expecting another MM. That album is filled with bangers and is in permanant rotation in my whip as well as many people I know. Theres like maybe one track Id skip on that. But, people have different tastes ya know? Some of these little jerks in here would say that MM was garbage compared to their Carter 2 or Drought 3 mixtape, AND BE SPEAKING HONESTLY, lol.. forreal tho!
Alright. I'll be ready for next week.

Dear PZ
I am so sorry, you are right, can you help me?
I mean it, what do I have to do? do I have to say I love Jesus or is thinking it enough?
My hands get tired when I type, if I love jesus do I have to type long ass posts and cut and past shit from the bible, or if I just say Christ Bless at then end is that enough?
DO I have to pretend to be black or white? Do I have to rebutle everything everyone says with a quote from the bible, or can I just put some other bullshit on here?
Lastly do I have to give back my high school diploma and forget everything that I have been taught? Or can I just play stupid?
Please help me, I had a rough birth and I would like to give it another go! Born again sounds great, just a question did you take it literly and think you were born black this time? b/c news flash you weren't
as for stealing pics, I am just trying to tell you how silly it is to put personal stuff and all your info up online, it isn't regulated, big brother doesn't need any more help
I got some amo for my stan. I'm sitting here blowing bubbles for my daughter and I'm out of breath and about to faint. Can you use that for something? I was just feeling sorry for you with the one topic disses. I can give you some more if that will help you bring the comedy. I'm missing my boy Future today. Shid.
@ Ereal:
But see this is the thing: Mobb Deep COULD HAVE BEEN (you gotta say that for all the lil GGGGGG- "Vitamin Water" groupies in the building) way bigger than just being on some-Hakeem Olajuwon-getting-traded-to-Toronto shit. They had everything they needed by the time Murda Muzik dropped, good fan base, good in house beats, good lyrics and content. They was ready to do Infamous Records and be the CEOs of they shit, but Prodigy had to fuck up and go at the 2 best living MCs in the NYC at practically the same damn time, which killed they cred, Mobb Deep started acting like they world never could crumble then Loud Records folded leaving them without a distribution label, they aint save no bread to launch the label or shop it to nobody for distributing. Free Agents was they best move but for some reasoning, they decide to sign with Jive records??? Home of Britney Spears, Kells, Nick Cannon, Backstreet Boys, etc. THEM NIGGAZ DID NOT FIT IN AT ALL!!!!! Now they on "Vitamin Water"...... they should BE "Vitamin Water" right now. Oh and yeah, return of the mac is proper.
And that's why you're my Stanselor. I hope that one day we can say the same about Stanchelon. But until that time comes, keep him in line for me. He needs someone to keep him grounded.
Man up BOY!

^^
Fact of the matter is bro, if you're in NY and you're gonna sign to a major label AT THAT TIME (because SRC is where Id go now) where do you go? Those cats are like, damn G-Unit is eatin, these cats are gettin paid over there, and there they went. Its all about the dough man. That percise moment is when the real G-Unit hate started. People just didnt accept a legendary group like Mobb being UNDER 50. People didnt understand the move, so they hated. But Outta Control Remix was FIRE. I just think people DONT WANNA hear 50 and Mobb, just like they dont wanna hear 50 n cool j, or 50 n mop. Why? Because they dont like 50, not because the music isnt hot. Cause, to me, Blood Money bangs out front to back and I dont really get into all the hate n shit, well I do, but I dont let the hate be louder than the music, feel me? I listen to the shit thats hot to me regardless, and I just think if this same album dropped on Koch, or WB or Atlantic, people would be feelin it. Or if they signed to Aftermath people woulda flipped on some excited shit, kna mean? IMO the album was dismissed just because it was a G-Unit project.
Whats up everyone... I see all the stans are out today. hows it goin Bird, Slimmy, Brook, EReal, Trip OG...

My Testimony
Born in ..:Warner Robins GA on July 1, 1978. My mother and my father were married at the time, but that didn't last long. Before my 5th birthday they were divorced. My mother was kinda crazy, my dad was into drugs…smoking weed, selling weed, and playin games with females. When they were divorced my sister and I lived with my mother for several years. My mom remarried to a man that we got really close to. My brother was born through that marriage. My dad continued doing what he was doing, all the while attempting to maintain a "normal" dad view in our eyes. And that's what it was to us..normal. We didn't know the difference. Mom and dad always fussing, mom remarried…dad we'd visit dad. "Go to the room for a few minutes"…that became normal to us. So did that smell. Anyway, mom was very pushy…the type of person to work a man's nerves just to see how far she could get him to go. I remember one time my mom and dad fighting, she stuck him with a screwdriver. Yeah, I was young…but I remember. I don't remember the specifics, but I always remember my mom being real testy…quick to push somebody's buttons. Maybe that's why her and my dad were fighting that one day way back in the bedroom…and she was yelling for us to call the police. I don't know, dad told us not do so I didn't. He's got one story of what was going on, and she has another. I decided a long time ago to just let it go, what good would the truth do me anyway considering it has been so long and life has taken so many different twists and turns to bring us where we are today. But I do know now that nothing she could've done deserved that beating she took from my step dad way back then. Yeah, I remember that…her head bouncing off the window, I seen that from outside. I seen her hit him in the head with one of my t-ball trophies too….we ran next door to tell the neighbors. Police called, police came…you know how it goes. You're probably thinking "wow"……we were thinking "this is life". Time passes…they divorce, and what do ya know…mom remarries again. Yeah, it's all good in the beginning…stepdads know how to get at moms heart…be nice to the kids. He was cool..in the beginning. The drinking didn't bother me personally because hey, my dad drank. There can't that much wrong with it. Just so long as he doesn't ask me to go get his beers…I only chase my dad's beers. You get your own! I'm not sure how long this one lasted, a few years I think. I had a step sister and a step brother out of the deal. My step brother actually found me on myspace. I don't recall who I was living with at this time, it may have been my dad. Now don't get me wrong, there was some normalcy too. Actually, this was normal to us. I did get involved in baseball as a child, played all the way from t-ball up until middle school. Other things took my interests then. So I'll skip some of the child hood stuff, but what we have to remember…is that everything contributes into the person you grow up to be. And God is always there. I remember one time at an early age…my dad was cleaning out the junk drawer. You know, the drawer that every house has with "crap" all in it. He just dumped it into the fireplace. Then all of a sudden, POW!!!! I was young, I fell to the ground screaming. My dad didn't know there was a bullet in there….but my Father did. That bullet grazed the skin off of my neck. God had his hands on me that day. He also at a very early age, used me to stop the house from burning down. We had a wood burning stove in the corner of the living room, and it was enclosed by stone. One night as I was laying there on the floor..I looked over into the vent of the stone enclosure, and I could see flames behind the stone wall. I alerted my dad and fire trucks ended up coming and only that corner of the house was burnt up. Looking back, it was none of me…and all of God. God was with me even then.
About age 12 or 13 is when I really started to wild out. The group I grew up with from early on in life pretty much came up through the same type of things. I got into thieving pretty big. It started off simply as a way for a young teenager to make money. I mean, at 12…13, we would swarm on convenient stores and just load up on candy. Take it to school and sale it. We had it for the low. As we got older, we started hitting the big stores like the JC Pennys, etc…and it was clothes. Some of the older folks we knew worked at a few of the different stores, so we had inside connections. We stayed in the high dollar clothes…lookin sharp at all times. Yep, we established that for ourselves, and then once you do…do you ever want to go back to lookin shabby? Naw…so it continued, only got worse really. We made some good money off of clothes..if you can call it "good". For some reason we also found pleasure in vandalizing. Christmas would come, we would rip peoples lights down. Halloween, we was smashing pumpkins. Oh yeah, the other thing…we stole hood ornaments off of cars. The gold Mercedes emblem was the top notch. Then you'd really had something. And on the last day of school…I can't even remember how many years we would egg the school bus. I'm talking about at least 5 of us with a dozen or so each just bombin on 'em. It's still kinda funny to me. They started having it followed by the cop car. We didn't care…just more to egg. Bottom line, we was just wild.
The natural progression was bout to happen. Breaking in cars, radio systems…some of the crew were a lot more bolder. Jacking cars up, taking the rims…breaking in houses, etc. This was the point in time that beepers was the hot thing out. I can't even begin to think of a number of beepers that came through my hands.
Well, I smoked my first weed when I was 14. This was also the first time I got arrested. There was about four or five of us who met at the bowling alley on Russell Parkway…we had a small sack and were looking for somewhere to smoke. We also happened to run into our good friend Brian Mussellwhite (R.I.P.). He was a straight and narrow kinda dude, but he had been our boy way back from middle school. We talked him into going with us. >So we went behind the bowling alley and blazed up. The cops came, and we tossed the sack. Noone would claim it….and Brian sobbed uncontrollably from the point we were caught…up until my boy Billy took the blame for it so that Brian would not be in trouble too. I wasn't talking. Well, I lived with my dad at this point in time, but called my mother for fear of what my dad would've said. When my dad found out about this, he was hurt. He didn't really see anything wrong with weed and from that point me and dad used to smoke out together. He would even give me joints for cutting the grass. Hey..I wasn't complaining. How many other kids that smoked weed could actually sit at home and smoke with dad. I could. Hey…my dad sold weed, sold dope…he was doin it in them streets. Well, that's also what led to him being arrested on two counts of rape too. He promised a couple crack heads some dope after they gave him blowjobs. He never gave it up and forced them out of the car. I wondered why he was not home that night. He came home that next morning just to take us to school, then I didn't see his face for another almost two years. It may have been longer than that, may have been less. I tried to erase him at that point. That day in school I heard that he was arrested and what he was arrested for. I didn't need to hear anymore….he was guilty in my heart. I moved in with my mom at that point, hurt…confused…wondering, worried I would turn out just like him. I remember crying many nights, but yet I continued down that path.
That's about the age I started drinking. I've always had friends a few years older too, so they was driving. You know, plus it ain't like their parents were strict, or like we had to be in at any certain time. Having access to a car, and no restrictions…that's a bad combination for a young teenager. A feeling of being grown. That's when it got really bad. From the minute we started smoking weed, someone in the click was selling it. I remember even at such a young age….my friends having and selling ounces. I never sold anything more than half ounces, and that was mostly so I had the free smoke. Also, I believe it was the Lord protecting me from that path that many others ended up taking. But the drinking…man, you wouldn't believe how much we used to drink at such a young age. I remember many of times hittin up the convenient store in our starter jackets…and coming out there with enough double deuces to have us blowed for the rest of the night. Six deep, just riding around drinking, smoking out like it wasn't nobodies business. And it wasn't nobodies business, if it wasn't the police, they better not say nothing to us. And the police, well they just couldn't catch us. There wasn't too many police on the streets back then anyway. I really believe we were a big reason they upped the force.
So we aged, got a little older. I got my drivers license and was working at the skating rink. Anybody from where I'm from already knows…the skating rink was the place to be. They made the mistake of giving me the keys to the arcade room and putting me in charge. FREE MONEY! Man, I took more quarters out of them games than any two people can count. That only fed the wild habits for weed right there. Invest it back into the homeys, smoke out. By now we had really became some knuckleheads where we were. Not too many people in that city would want to get down with us. It wasn't just the inner circle of about 10 of us, but we'd all made connections with other people and those that we had connected with were just some hard, loyal…down for whatever kind of cats. One of the things we used to do was ride out to Macon to the clubs and just start mess with the Macon folks. There would be fights, at least 50 people in there scrapping..in the parking lot throwin beer bottles, chasing folks up and down the streets….in the woods, whatever. Every week…something went down. Every week, we went back to squabble with "The Bloomfield Boys". I remember one time, we rode up there with only about six of us, and two of those folks were not even down for whatever. After the club, well…in all honesty….we was about to get stomped out. It was like something you see in the movie…we were getting backed up..they were getting closer. It was a good thing my boy brought his pistol. That was the first night I remember a pistol being introduced to anything we were doing, in them days it was about swinging them thangs…not shootin. He had the pistol, he acted scared…thank God he didn't give it to me like I was telling him to. Anyway, he did what he had to do for us to get up out of there safe.
My appetite for females was already pretty heavy at about that time. My sister's best friend was always at the house, and things just developed. It was never my intention to marry this girl, but I had began sleeping with her. She was actually from Macon, and was only in town on weekends…sometimes for weeks at the time, but she was not "my only girl". I was still sleeping around. Now of course everything her and I were doing was secret…I didn't want my mom to find out, and it was also a way to keep it on the low as to not mess up my game on the streets and with the other females. Anyway, I remember the night she came up to my job and told me "your mother doesn't care that we are going out". From that day forward, me and her became an item. I've always had a heart, and had developed very strong feelings for her. I had taken her virginity and could not find it in me to just dog her. She would later become the mother of my oldest son Jordan which I will get into later.
One night when she was home in Macon, she called me and let me know that the Bloomfield boys were all in her apartment complex…about 20 of them. Perfect opportunity to catch them all at once and handle it. So we assembled a crew of probably close to 75 people, about 10 car loads. We rode out…swarmed on them, they ran inside…Guapo (R.I.P.) kicked out the front window of one apartment. Nothing ended up happening, they would not come out. A couple days later they drove down to our city and threw a brick through my front window. That whole beef resulted in a lot of mess, but simply serves as an indication of how far gone things had gotten, and how far we were from anything godly resulting in my arrest on more than one occasion. One time the cops even claimed I stole my CD player and kept it…I still haven't gotten it back, never will. That one was actually not stolen. Anyway, this just shows that at any point during this craziness, we could've been killed doing what we were doing…but God kept me alive. For a reason. There were many more incidents, and several more arrests. For fighting, for terrorist threats for chasing and threatening to kill a dude. Fights which lead to people being seriously hurt. Cracked skulls, lost eye sight, and a house party at my house were several folks were stabbed and many more beaten. This same house party resulted in me not seeing my little brother for several years. He was ten years old and we got him high. When all of the fighting broke out, he freaked out and called 911. His dad found out and we were not allowed to see him for several years. Thank you Lord for protecting my little brother. There are some other things I will not speak of.
Through all of this my dad was continually sending me letters telling me that prison was no place to be. And he also began to tell me how he had given his life to Christ, and he began to share the truth with me. Looking back now, it was during that time that he was born a new creature, and dedicated his life to Christ in a mighty mighty way. But at that time, it was all just talk of a man who was tryin to get out of what he had done. I read it, and not knowing it…it impacted my heart and the seed was planted. Though I still never went to visit, nor did I keep in contact with him. I was still hurting and angry, but it was during this time that God began the mighty work in my father for which I am eternally grateful. It became the testimony and the real life demonstration of how God works and what God can do.
We was found not guilty by a jury and was freed. He continued following Christ, and has up until today. Lydia had gotten pregnant and had a miscarriage which was a really hard for both of us. I was not even there when it happened, I was in the streets selling weed with my friend Ted. After finding out she was pregnant, her mother kicked her out and we grew closer and eventually got married. It was actually right after her long lost dad threatened to come to Georgia to have me arrested. Her mother agreed to sign the papers and we were married. After a fight at my mothers house, we moved in with my father. This was in late 1996. In doing so, and by being surrounded by godly people, I came to see the real working power of God in a believes life. I seen how my dad had changed, and how God was now using him in Prison ministry and how God was blessing all areas of his life. After confessing to Lydia that I had slept with her best friend, I asked the Lord to save my marriage and to forgive me of my sins and to come into my heart and save my soul. At that moment I felt a transformation, and Lydia forgave me on the spot. God began a mighty work in our life, and God blessed us in many ways. I seen and felt the power of God, even as I held on to parts of the world. Remember, God does not expect you to clean yourself up and then come to him. No, you come to him and then he cleans you up. There were just some things I did not want to let go…hip hop was one of them.
We eventually moved out of my dad's house and we got our own apartment. We followed the Lord only for a short time, and we began to backslide heavily. We did not attend church, we did not see the truth who His word…and the devil exploited this. Through it all in the beginning, I felt the tugging on my heart when I did wrong…but I grew numb to the spirit. I knew what I was doing, I had made my decision to step away, and God honored that. .
By this time, several of my friends who had come up selling weed had began making big money and climbed that ladder, then cocaine was brought in. I wasn't part of that…and only a couple of the click had shied away from that. It caused splintering in our group and it was all downhill from there. God saved me from that mess and I was blessed with a job which I knew had potential. By this time it was me and my wife, and only a few of my friends who would kick it at the apartment. Actually, a different circle began to develop. We stayed smoking a bunch of weed and drinking, and on a daily basis would have an apartment full of people gambling, playing spades and , heavy smoking and drinking and smoking. After one such party, I was so drunk beyond belief. I got a DUI for driving clear across town in a black out looking for a dude that punched me in the lip at my party. On my way home was I pulled over going 85 in a 45, running a red-light and carrying a concealed weapon. Nope, things would not get easier. I got $3000 in debt because of my stupidity. And on the money I was making…I could not pay that. I would get a second job to pay for my attorney and my case. First day to work, the engine in my car blows up. So my mom put her title up for her car so that I can get my car fixed. So you add another $1500 for a new engine to that, and in a matter of a couple months, my perfect credit when to shambles. My second job was in Macon at Ruby Tuesdays, and this was a good 30-45 minutes one way to work, after work. I used to get tore up after work and drive up. Thank you God for keeping me safe. By now, I was growing tired of the life I was living.
I applied for a position at an Air Force base in Florida and was accepted. I knew it was God blessing me. More money to move to the beaches of Fort Walton Beach Florida…YES SIR!!! God was good!! I accepted the job, and on one weekend we packed up everything and were leaving out on a Friday. The same day we were leaving, we found out that Lydia was pregnant again. We were both very excited, and seen this pregnancy and the move to Florida as a wonderful blessing and an opportunity to settle our family in a place where we were able to start over.
I had rented a place over the telephone without having ever seen it. We made the drive on a Saturday and when we got there….the place I rented was a hot mess!! Unacceptable. Thank God my dad was with me, I was a mess and was so scared because I had to be at work on Monday, and as of Saturday I had no home. Now, wouldn't you know that God already had a plan in place. My dad made a call back to his home church, and come to find out there was a family there who was from Fort Walton Beach, and had attended church there. First Baptist of Mary Esther was the name. So we got a hotel room that Saturday night and woke up and went to church. That morning, the Lord brought into our life "The Ferrell's". He owned a little trailer park, mostly consisting of his family..and wouldn't you know there was a vacant trailer! And we were able to move in that day with only paying the first month rent…no deposit! Thank you Jesus!
So we continued attending the church and were loving it. Then tragedy struck. My favorite woman in the whole world, my grandmother back home in Georgia was diagnosed with breast cancer. We never knew it was as bad as it was, she was in such high spirits. She even joked about how much she enjoyed her trips to the doctor because it had been so long since she'd had a man mess with her boobies. She was funny. Also during this time, Lydia began to go into labor. I couldn't believe it…not again. She was past her first trimester and I thought it was all good from that point. Well apparently not, she went into labor at 22 weeks of pregnancy. That is one week earlier than the youngest baby to every live at Sacred Heart Hospital…one of the best in Florida. When Haley was born, they didn't even try. Over the years I've learned to let that anger go, and know and accept that all things are under God's control. I still don't understand, but I know God knows. At the time, it tore me up. It was a pain I had never felt…and it stung for a long time. I held her in my arms all the way down to the morgue.
My parents came down for the service. We had her cremated and the church handled everything. It was great seeing my family, but not under terms like these. Why does it take death to bring everyone together? My grandmother even made it..in her wheelchair and everything. If there was one thing that felt good, it was seeing her. Naturally, they had to return to Georgia but it was great having their support.
Over the next several months I struggled to understand how or why this could've happened. I had a hard time accepting death, this was the first instance I had ever had to deal with death, and it was way to close to home. It was my daughter. I mean….I knew she was in heaven, but that's not where I wanted her. I wanted her here. It was difficult for me to experience how "life goes on" after death. It's back to work, back to paying bills, back to trying to be normal. How can other people be so happy all the time, when I have just lost my daughter? Well….so is life. It doesn't stop. It doesn't even slow down. I think I pretty much just internalized this, and never even let it be known how much this was affecting me. Not to my family, not to my wife…and not even to God. I continued with the motions of church, but I couldn't understand how God could make this happen.
Then I get the phone call that my grandmother is in such worse shape that I need to get there to see her because she may die. Here we go again. What is going on God!! Where are you!!! My grandmother is withering away from cancer!!! Why is this happening to her?? Hello!! Are you up there!! I made it back home to visit her, and it was truly amazing. Up until that point, she had been in a mumbling state…noone could understand her or anything. That weekend I was there, she was wide awake, glowing…funny, her normal self. It was amazing. Looking back, I know that it was God allowing me this time with her. At that time, I never recognized that. The hurt was so blinding. I was praying for a miraculous healing, not a miraculous weekend.
She died not long after. We made the trip and attended the funeral. That was it….I was done with it. I hadn't heard any answers to my prayers, I felt like He had left me. I was all alone. I quit on God. I consciously quit praying, did not pick up my bible, did not go back to church, wouldn't even bless my food. Like I was hurting God or something. It was back downhill from there. My wife was pregnant again and while it was exciting, we were constantly on pins and needles. Considering this was the third pregnancy…I wasn't too optimistic. My son was born with an irregular heartbeat and was transferred to Sacred Heart hospital. Here we go again I thought….I prepared myself for the worst and didn't ask God for any help. It seemed to me that He was angry at me because every time I had prayed before, it seemed as though he replied with a "take that!" lashing at my heart. So nope, I wasn't praying no more. When he got to Sacred Heart it was discovered that he had dangerously low blood platelets and he immediately underwent a blood transfusion. I was drained, but we still would get up every two hours to walk over to the hospital to feed him in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. That was a scary place, it was frightening being there. He had his IV in his head, it was sad. There were other babies in there as well, all in pretty bad shape. I'll take this time now to tell you about the Ronald McDonald house. They had a location right across the street from the hospital that we lived at for the next three weeks while Jordan remained in the hospital. They provided us with comfortable beds, great food…it is just a wonderful work that they do. Please support them.
Eventually Jordan was well enough to go home and we left. How confusing everything was to me at that point. Here I am, trying to be a good dad, bucking God, still grappling with the death of my grandmother and my first daughter almost a year before…and now I have this wonderful miracle baby. So life continued.
I ended up falling in love with a woman I worked with who was sixteen years my senior. She was married as well, and it began with us simply talking about our problems at home and we grew closer. I was already not really in love with my wife any more, and I grew closer to this woman…and her closer to me. We would stay out late after work messing around and eventually after a years of all of this hiding and sneaking around, I was caught. We would sneak away for the weekend, she took me on trips, bought me clothes…and I had a lie to cover everything. It had become so much and feelings were so strong that I began to tell people close to me, whom I thought I could trust. One being my mother. Well, one weekend my mother was down from Georgia and I was out real late with my "girlfriend". When I came home, I was half drunk and met at the door by Lydia. My mom had told her and I was met with a fury of fists. I didn't feel it, I was drunk. From that point forward, I felt a sense of relief because all of the lying was over. Lydia ended up calling the woman's husband and that set off things on that side too. But it didn't stop us from seeing each other. Lydia still wanted to make it work, but I didn't. I had stuck with her for so long because we had been through so much, I felt responsible for her not finishing school, it was guilt. But staying with her as long as I did and then hurting her like this was not right.
One of the hardest things I've ever faced in my life was watching Lydia drive away on her way back to Georgia with my son Jordan. But that is what happened and as much as I hated to see that happen, I did nothing to try and stop it. I was so self absorbed at that time, everything told me to let it happen. It was satan, and I was listening.
I was then told I had to leave the trailer I was in. I had no where to go. I ended up moving in with a co-worker, and actually a subordinate of mine. During this time I began to party hard, constantly medicating myself with weed and alcohol. There was a point in time I was drinking a twelve pack a day. I would do so, and then borrow one of the kids bikes whom I lived with and just ride out. It was sad, but I didn't know how sad it had gotten for me. I was in bad shape, but didn't even realize it. I was "having fun." In love with a married women who I could not get to leave her man for me. She had stepped out on him ready to make that move one time on New Years eve previous, but I was scared to leave Lydia at that point.
I had also began messing with another married girl I worked with. She would come spend several nights at the house I was staying at, and we would mess around…but nothing serious. She was harder to get to, and that drew me even closer. One time I called her from Club Lavela in Panama City after being so drunk I ended up getting my rear end handed to me by four bouncers. Then the cop there put his two cents in and took me across the street to an abandoned store and did what he wanted to. It wasn't much, he just took me out the car and had me jacked up good against the wall choking me almost unconcience, yelling quietly as he purposefully spit in my face making his point.. Making me promise to never come back. I tell you what, if you've never experienced a feeling of helplessness, you never want to run into a crooked cop. It is a frightening feeling, you realize just how powerless you are…no matter where you came from or what you've been through. When you are alone with a crooked cop, and you are in handcuffs…you are absolutely helpless by all possible definitions of the word. He finally uncuffed me, left me there bloodied and all…and left. I was all alone, noone to come get me. I sat across the street there at the empty store, 70 miles from home…just watching the car of the people I had come with, waiting on them to come out. I didn't really know them dudes, I had bumped into them at clubs in Destin and they'd asked me if I wanted to go to Panama City with them. Thank God I seen them come out, or I would've been stuck. They took me home. I slept for two days.
By that time, I had really hit my lowest point in life I had ever hit. I had made plans to drive up to Georgia to see my son in the next couple weeks. Well, that weekend before….I had to get my party on one last time. So I hit every club around. Before leaving Destin, I hit the Waffle House in order to sober up. The next thing I know, someone was tapping me on my shoulder. I lift my head up from the table and there are two cops standing over me. I had passed out surrounded by food. Apparently, in my drunken mindstate, I had ordered what appeared to be every last thing on the menu. The cop asked "Do you have money to pay for all of this?" I reached out of my pocket and pulled out a dollar. Then the cops proceeded to pay for everything I had bought and sent me on my way. Can you believe it? As drunk as I was…they just sent me up the street. I lived approximately 45 minutes away, had to drive all the way through the middle of the city and then down a highway for about 25 miles. There was no such thing as "better judgement" at that point., with myself or apparently with the cops either.
On my way through the city I remember waking up because I had hit something. I don't know what it was, but I just kept on going. It was kinda like when your alarm goes off when you are sleeping….that was like the point in time for me to hit the snooze button. Because I just kept on going. And I did pretty good….for a little while anyway. Twenty five miles is a long way to drive down a straight highway, tired, and drunk. So I drove fast…I was ready to get home. Apparently I couldn't wait to take a nap so I did so behind the wheel. The next thing I remember is a sudden jerk and I woke up. I was now on the side of the highway in the grass, going 60-70 MPHs jumping, swerving…I just remember thinking to myself "I'm going to roll." What seemed like eternity all happened in a matter of seconds. I ended up hitting a tree and the car began smoking. I was of course wide awake by that point. The first thought that came to my mind was "my insurance cancelled two days ago." Some how, some way..I went home that morning without a ticket, no DUI or anything. It was God. But you think I acknowledged that out loud. Naw. I was just ready to get home and get in the bed. I slept for two days straight I think.
I was still messing around with the married lady at that point. My car was totaled, but I still had payments to make on it. She paid the first month rent and down payment for me to get into a trailer which was walking distance from my job. So that worked for a good minute. This place was also walking distance from the strip club too…so that became a regular spot for me and a couple of my buddies.

Carving out my space
In this world of fly girls
Cutthroats & diamond cut ropes I twirls
Benzs round corners
Where the sun don't shine
I let the wheels give a glimpse
Of hope of one's grind
Some said HOV, how you get so fly
I said from not being afraid to fall out the sky"

@ Ereal:
You do gotta point. Mobb Deep kinda got sonned by 50 signing with him......"I'll do ya lil ass like Jay did Mobb Deep......" Blood Money would be more poppin somewhere else because if it was anywhere else, 50 would have 99% less involvement. The album aint weak saying Mob Deep is weak, the album weak for 50 trying to mold them into G-Unit look. If he wouldve let them do they Mobb shit like they been doing these 10+ years, they would be that much greater. 50 over-the-top trying join Mobb Deep on Blood Money was like a mockery of Shook Ones, Quiet Storm..... basically made about as much chemistry as Rakim on Aftermath.

Saying "Christ is king!" record
Quotes from the Bible records
Most thuggy White boy record
Saying the word "homie" record
@Bird
You have broken the following records:
Largest gap record
Oldeest person on SOHH record
Female with the most male features record
Most fucked up teeth record
Jaysiatic, you are so lame. Yao probably got the smallest dick. At least say Shaq or sum1 you can for sure tell is hung. Besides just cuz u tall dont mean u packin. All my boys 5-10" or less are packin more than the tall niggaz, real talk

Exactly, from an A&R and Executive Producer standpoint the track selection could've been better, and the beats did sound like G-Unit beats, but if 50 had less involvement, I agree it woulda been better. See, what 50 didnt get is that this isnt Banks or Buck or Yayo that need his hype to sell, this is MOBB DEEP, they dont need your hype to sell, they already have a following, kna mean?
@ ethan:
^^^^ Stan up there homie. Why the hell is you searching for Shaq dick though??? Anyways, the comment wasn't about tall people being hung, the comment look like it says somebody who has a dick taller than them (No Jason Taylor), at least from what I read. You gay as shit dude..... enough of that queer eye b.s., I'm back to me now.

Your family doesn't count either!
OK PZ let's do this I got a little time my son is asleep. First of all let me give you my world view as it stands today, because it's ever changing. My views on Black politics having absolutely nothing to do with you. The issues that reside in the house of Black folk have nothing to do with you. Until you have sat in Black skin and really felt the stigma of being called Nigger by someone you won't understand so don't tell me what my community should do. Until you've been embarrased by another black person and judged by their actions by someone else you have no pass to tell me how to address my people. I believe in moving back from a situation in order to correct the future, that's how we do things in BK, now in Texas land of the great thinkers (ie. George Bush) I know you guys don't like to do a lot of Mumbo jumbo thinking that makes your brains hurt, but we like to get shit right instead of proceeding further into something that is wrong. (ie Iraqi war) Fact is i'm behind enemy lines when I am at work I gotta be that much brighter that my white and black constituants. Black people can't hate white people they simply treat them as if they can get a taxi before we can, or like they secretly think they are imitating us in frat parties at Clemson University (Look up the Pictures). We treat White people like they hustled the Native people of this land out of their land for beads and blankets with small pox. Maybe I gotta look past the war for oil movement, record breaking stock gains and record low poverty, the lack of ownership in every league. I got faith in myself, I see the God in myself, I react to my environment, I move with the lessons that inspire me to think deeper under the Brooklyn Bridge or on my old project benches. I'm handling what I got to handle over here, I'm doing what is needed to build my nation up to lead into the next age of Black folks the age where we get our dignity back, where cooning is shunned and we can begin to trust each other. I ask you not to interceed, this family business and unfortunately for you the sins of your past fathers will stain the brains of Black Folksand other Brown people across the world forever. I understand your attempting to do good for that I applaud you but fall back. That's what some of those people are asking you, you've helped enough. If they want to pull themselves up by the bootstraps let them. If my son falls when he can walk i won't help him up when I know he can get up, and when he gets up I'll dust him off to let him know I was their the whole time. Just play the support roll Andrew. You will always be White I will always be Black and their are certain issues that we will never understand about each other.

Buffalo Soldier, Dreadlock Rasta
There was a Buffalo Soldier
In the heart of America
Stolen from Africa, brought to America
Fighting on arrival, fighting for survival
I mean it, when I analyse the stench
To me, it makes a lot of sense
How the Dreadlock Rasta was the Buffalo Soldier
And he was taken from Africa, brought to America
Fighting on arrival, fighting for survival
Said he was a Buffalo Soldier, Dreadlock Rasta
Buffalo Soldier, in the heart of America
If you know your history
Then you would know where you coming from
Then you wouldn't have to ask me
Who the heck do I think I am
I'm just a Buffalo Soldier
In the heart of America
Stolen from Africa, brought to America
Said he was fighting on arrival
Fighting for survival
Said he was a Buffalo Soldier
Win the war for America
Dreadie, woe yoe yoe, woe woe yoe yoe
Woe yoe yoe yo, yo yo woe yo, woe yoe yoe
(repeat)
Buffalo Soldier, trodding through the land
Said he wanna ran, then you wanna hand
Trodding through the land, yea, yea
Said he was a Buffalo Soldier
Win the war for America
Buffalo Soldier, Dreadlock Rasta
Fighting on arrival, fighting for survival
Driven from the mainland
To the heart of the caribbean
Singing, woe yoe yoe, woe woe yoe yoe
Woe yoe yoe yo, yo yo woe yo woe yo yoe
(repeat)
Trodding through San Juan
In the arms of America
Trodding through Jamaica, a Buffalo Soldier
Fighting on arrival, fighting for survival
Buffalo Soldier, Dreadlock Rasta
Singing, woe yoe yoe, woe woe yoe yoe
Woe yoe yeo yo, yo yo woe yo woe yo yoe

All I ever had, is songs of freedom
Won't you help to sing, these songs of freedom
Cause all I ever had, redemption songs
Redemption songs
Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery
None but ourselves can free our minds
Have no fear for atomic energy
Cause none of them can stop the time
How long shall they kill our prophets
While we stand aside and look
Some say it's just a part of it

True, and vice versa. Now you go ahead and proceed to tell me how your struggle as an individual has been harder than mine....assumption based on skin color and past transgressions.
I don't know what it's like being called a nigger no more than you know what it's like having people spit at you because you're white. Now, the paradigm of what YOU have come to accept as "reality"..don't thank it ain't never inverted. I ain't on here to debate the struggle...and you right, this is "family" business, but you see...that is where we head down separate roads. Cuz you believe that your "family" is only black folks, and I believe we are all apart of God's family. So no, I ain't fallin back no where....I'm handlin family business.
Now...a man as intelligent as you come off to be before you dip out oughta know the insults bounce off somebody built like me. The Texas booty chatter you was spewin..I ain't even from TX. See...ain't nothin like that GA clay, but even so..it ain't about "where you from"..it's about "where you at" and the direction you are goin. Mine don't stop at the block, or at the change in skin tone. And since you a realist...let's keep it all the way real. Black folks separate themselves, white folks separate themselves....your mission gets accomplished. Then what? Huh? Then what Sun? We all conglomorate within our own skin tones (where does that put my children...that's another topic though), then what? We all as separate groups come together to be friendly?
I know the argument you use, it's the same one that's been used by the white folks for too long. The "we'll stick to ours, you stick to yours" and it ain't effected no progress. ONLY when MLK (not Malcolm) came spittin truth, was change effected, and keep in mind...it's all relative.
But to think me and mines is gonna sit back and take a hands off approach to the issues that need to be addressed, that being poverty and racism, and only build on this side of the fence...naw man, that's the opposite of responsible and only asking to further the gap in BOTH poverty AND racism...and truth be told, if we (or you...black man is god, white man is not...right) are gods...then WHY in the HELL ain't things like they should be? And you seem to have it twisted up to think it's just PZ the white man about this business, and you wrong. Me and the team...we stretch across all color lines, my brothers and best friends is white, black, mexican, asian...we across all lines, and the power of that supercedes any of this "lemme do my thing, you do yours" nonsense. So don't get it twisted...it's just a white man is all you are hearing from in here in this blog.
I ain't knockin the "each one teach one", or the "self empowerment"...but I've said it a thousand times, when you begin to further separatist views and create further division by basing existence on a "better than" view...it's destructive and headed in the opposite direction of healing.
Just ask Farrakhan that..and he'll tell you. It took him up to the end, but he's come around.
Bottom line, it's not a race issue...we are all equal and always have been and always will be. And if maybe me as a white person helping out a black man, woman or child...if that sticks in their brain and helps to heal up them wounds of the past, I'm willing to do that rather than sitting by and allow them to be fed the lie that the white man is the devil.
Ain't happenin when I'm around.
Ayyyyyyy, i remember that commercial with the lil indian and the litter floating in the stream washing up on shore, then a single teardrop (real tears not Stuntin like A Faggy tears) fell. and im not speakin' for big sun he and you can say you all thing, now what imma say is if ME as a black person is gonna speak on black issues why is that looked as racist?
the black race in a whole is crazy, why, because theres things that is pasted down through generations, and different areas (ie, the south, the north, assuming cause i never been the mid west and the west coast) breed different mentallities.
i notice that u big up Martin but refuse to big up malcolm or garvey or the panthers are they racist to you? when it comes time for black people to open there 3rd eye and shake that MENTAL SLAVERY shit off them that can ONLY happen when we as BLACK people learn to love OUR SELF.
we're a race off people thats hated by all race plus our self, theres dark skin black people that would tell you how they wish they was light and or kinky head black people who lust for that stringy weak ass hair. thats called self hate, thats the reason why a black man can kill another black man cause we're taught to hate. how do u break that by learning to love YOUR RACE.
when i was a kid i couldnt fight my brothers and sisters and kick it with my friends my moms aint play that shit, and its the same with us, we would break US down quick and build up another race quicker. that shit aint right. but it doesnt matter how much black punash u get or mix kids u have son you are what u are and will think how u think. i mean humour me what is the plight of the blackman?

Flashbac of the day..... that Milli Vanilli on the Super Mario Bros. cartoon!!!!! What, I aint the only one who seen that shit, they couldn't even do "Girl U Know It's True" (lol @ the irony!!!) as a cartoon!!!!! Oh yeah, I'm officially in this debate between PZ and Big Sun since we bringing up Malcolm and Martin.
@ PZ:
Malcolm got things accomplished in his own way. Martin was ok with going to jail over nothing, Malcolm said Fuck That. Both of them was instrumental, Martin spoke to the spiritually motivated and mentally responsive, Malcolm spoke for those who believed in action speaking louder than words, even though a lot of his words was a great cause for the actions brought upon Blacks as well as himself. anyways, believe your religious beliefs, but we can't honestly put race into that bowl too because religion is based mostly off of beliefs while race is race. racism is a belief but is a belief that everyone has some kinda tie to through the 300+ years of America being a free country from G.B. (not George Bush either for y'all smart dumb niggaz). So dead all that though and talk about something that mean something, like Blood Diamonds, Darfur, drought, bombings in Europe, Al Quada......ONE

And don't even come at me about "Jesus being white"....I'm not on that level, that's elementary right there.
Why do I big up Dr. King? Because he spoke of equality, and love of all people and peace. THAT is why. He did not spread the same message as Malcolm. And if you see..I big upped Farrakhan too, because in his later years he has come to see that "love and acceptance" of all, regardless of race, religion, etc is the answer to a better place. EVEN while not believing that Jesus is Christ. And I can roll with that, because THAT is what will work, not the separatist promotion.
Pay close attention...certainly I'm making that point clear. It is YOU that constantly make it a black and white thing. Not me. So stop taking my posts as a buffet, only taking what you wanna hear from it. Cuz that's what you doin.
I know yo ugly behind aint tryna sell nobody out?!!!

You know I'm slow on the street talk. What does that mean Stan?
I told you I ain't here to debate the struggle. Because them same dudes that had the plantation with all the slaves, he ain't payin my bills or wasn't walkin me to school...
@ PZ:
How they aint pay your bills if you was a nut of 1 of them cats??? You descended from somebody who descended....... so on........ but you wouldn't be here if it weren't for them being they racist ass self and smashing a white woman. REAL TALK. Don't debate it, ok cool beans, DO see what it was and leave it at that. No talk of "whites catch they lil hate too" because it really don't compare to us. REALER TALK
He did not spread the same message as Malcolm.
Homie if u really break Malcom down he didn't preach hate. His moto was "Live in peace with all men. If he lays his hands on you THEN take him to the grave". Malcom never said that he wanted to kill whites or rape thier women. He simply stated that he wouldn't allow them to kill his people or rape his woman. People try to paint Malcolm as someone who pushed hate when the fact of the matter is that was the last thing he was pushing. He just knew that in order for their to be real peace then blacks at that time would have to get thier piece. Being black hurts but its even worst when you speck first!-2pac

dude YOU ALL BEEN SHOWING US THAT THE WHITE MAN IS GOD...... WHERE HAVE U BEEN?
and the whiteman being cavemen:
The term Caucasian originated as one of the racial categories recognised by 19th century craniology and is derived from the region of the Caucasus mountains[3].It has various meanings.
Caucasoid race is a term used in physical anthropology to refer to people of a certain range of anthropometric measurements [4]. The concept of a "Caucasian race" or Varietas Caucasia was first proposed under those names by the German scientist and classical anthropologist, Johann Friedrich Blumenbach (1752-1840).[5] His studies based the classification of the Caucasian race primarily on skull features, which Blumenbach claimed were optimized by the Caucasian Peoples.[6] Blumenbach writes:
Caucasian variety - I have taken the name of this variety from Mount Caucasus, both because its neighborhood, and especially its southern slope, produces the most beautiful race of men, I mean the Georgian; and because all physiological reasons converge to this, that in that region, if anywhere, it seems we ought with the greatest probability to place the autochthones (birth place) of mankind.
thats your people who wrote this about you all and YOUR HISTORY.

Malcolm's idealogy changed as well towards the end of his life when he learned that muslims came in all races. That is part of the reason why he was assasinated along with the fact that he started putting the honorable Elijah Muhammad on blast for bedding young girls. We all change with life experience if we have some intelligence.

How you know what I descended from? I got it both in my blood homeboy. My mother side is direct descendents of King James, and my daddy's descendents is full blooded Indians. Where does that leave me?? I'm supposed to sit down and do or say nothing because on one side was the struggle, and on the other was the thievery..so they cancel each other out???
Jaysiatic...when was the last time you took a whip across the back? Or sat in the back of the bus? Man...don't tell me about your struggle. Now...that don't mean there isn't remnants of the old heads believing it revolved around color, I'd be a fool to act like racism don't exist...but to act like you as a 80s baby experienced some kind of real life struggle where you can speak and constitute significant differences in what we been through, you ain't on that level. You may have heard about that level, your parents may have told you about that oppression...but you ain't on that.
And NO, I ain't talkin about "the folks watch me when I'm in the candy store" level, so you can't tell me nothin about that.
Stop tryin to justify the struggle and get on about overcoming, good lawd come on back Jesus!

and he wanted us to stand and support our self so we dont have to rely on white society, but it all boils down to the black race that can be control, and a black race that cant. a black race thats builds our community or one that breaks it down.

because I will always break those barriers and break down bondage
oh Lord God Almighty grant me all privilige
you see I have overcome all the wicked,
them and them false things

I have no white god it’s just a Black Messiah,
if a white god ah bless you him no bless Sizz..
Verse 1
I want what is rightfully mine
so me nah stay mute
your system is designed to distract me from the truth
but it will come to pass unknown not to the youths
in the process of time we will know the truth
you give we white god to praise in slavery
the doctrine follow on in the black community
the Black Messiah you try to shield with fantasy,
but we nah guh mek you destroy the love with luxury
that’s why,
have to go through I have no place in Babylon
as I go they make mi victim of their unjust action oh God
I won’t be coquered in this region oh yes
I have to stand and go strong

I know that homey, but that ain't what my bible teaches. I feel the reality of what Malcolm taught...but I'm told to judge the spirit by the fruits it produces. From Malcolms early teachings, came the NOI and from that came the 5%rs. The fruits have come, produced and here we are.
White man ain't the devil, no more than God is a white man.
@Bird
You right, I know Malcolm changed. I know that. But the civil rights movement is a direct fruit of Dr. King's spirit, not Malcolms.
@Brooklyn B
Man, you ain't tellin me nothing I don't already know about the origin of the word Caucasian. It's the same ideology as calling the black man "African". In similar appears to the African. It's different in that we are not called "Caucasians" because we descend from the caucasian mountains. You need to look at other sources regarding the origin of that word. lol
Bird got age and wisdom.

I'm gonna have to disagree with that because the civil rights movement wasn't just about Martin. Malcolm and NOI were a part as were the Black Panthers. They all had differant methods, but all were leaders in the civil rights movement. The powers that were may have liked Martin's approach better, not let me rephrase that...they may have thought Martin's approach was the most palatable, but that didn't make the others any less significant to the struggle.

Slow ya roll, duke. I aint Kunta, or J.J., MLK3, or none of them, but how bout that whip happy dude you got nutted from was a descendent of White who DID beat Kunta, which didn't make slavery pump it's brakes no faster. Then that white folk(s) who did think it was cool to segregate us all up, he was the 1 who was trying to give us that 1st hand slavery experience, right??? I guess he made Afro-American life SOOOOOOO much better that years after Malcolm and Martin's assassinations (and locking up Muhammed Ali just for not wanting to fight outside of a boxing ring), since the USA still wasn't right, then you had ya "Good Times" on TV cuz that WAS my folks. Maybe not directly, but while them folks was up in high class (just a figure of speech to illustrate exactly what I mean), my folks still wasn't eating great like that, we was working for EVERYTHING we had amassed to. Which brings me to present day where I sit on this PC rapping to PZ and that b.s. ideology that you and I aint connect to any of those events. Ok so why I wasn't born into no multi-million $$$$$ establishment then. You might as well saying I still paying the slavery debt today. MOST REALEST TALK YET.

I don't need to come on here and tell you what "Tool on Deck" said in order to get MY point across. No more than I need to hear a rap song to know what you are tryin to say.

Strange to see that they both died for speaking inclusion? Not really.

Shiiieeeet, wouldn't have been no Osama then. We (American government) put Osama in power over there. Martin would've been president by now, since Jesse Jackson couldn't get the job done, that Osama shit wouldve been deaded.

Me, here is the thing with me...and we can try and make it about everything else but it just sidetracks
I believe that Jesus Christ is God.
I believe all men are created equal.
I believe we are to love everyone equally.
I believe that teaching that black man IS god is a lie.
I believe that teaching that white man decends from caves is a lie.
I believe the answer is inclusion, not separation.
That's IT man, that's it right there. Ain't no respect lost for nobody in this blog.
