So Ja Rule made his way over to the Hot 97 Angie Martinez show to politic.
I don't understand. Ja is still (yawn) addressing the whole 50-stealing-his-style-and-career fiasco, probably to use this to up his buzz for his upcoming album. Not a good angle to start from, especially since the last thing he should be trying to do is remain stuck with the "that's the n*gga who got shut down by 50" label that has been his rep for the past four years. Move on. Start fresh, n*gga!
*SMH*
Was anybody checking for that new joint he came out with some weeks ago? Not really. Good luck fam. 'Cause it's not a good look for you right now.

Sorry Reckless Off the subject real quick got to address something with someone.
Dear Bird,
First and foremost I did not see your post until about 6:30pm at night I’ve obviously got a Stan (besides my F you’s are much more eloquent than that; just kidding but no really they are.) I took my seed for a walk to the park after I got done typing. To the topic. First I would ask you to educate yourself on the uses of Industrial Hemp, you can not smoke the marijuana from Hemp plants hence my reference to the licking of a trash can in East NY, it won’t get you high, Industrial hemp is a fiber that when processed can be used to make anything from paper to car bodies, it is the strongest natural fiber in the environment. There are companies that import Hemp from Canada which is a sovereign nation amongst other countries. My position was this: If the United States will violate its own treaty that is over 100 years old with the indigenous peoples of this land what makes you think you won’t be next? Secondly No the hood is not as bad as these reservations I would ask you again to educate yourself on that subject matter, the only places I’ve been that are almost comparable to the economic devastation are Arkansas and Kingston Jamaica., and I hear there are some terrible places in Mississippi too. I do not advocate depending on government programs like welfare and food stamps. I believe we need to teach each other agriculture there are hardly any Black Farmers farming is a very profitable business, I believe we need to educate ourselves and start schools that teach children to think outside of the robotic lifestyle that is the work world we need independent business minds. I’m for getting my shit correct before I can intermingle with anyone else properly. PZ would have you believe that I am simply a separatist; I am more of a realist. Picture this Bird; you are in an abusive relationship and your man keeps beating you every time you see him. Weakness will keep you running back to him for fear of the unknown, but strength will send you packing for the greater possibility. I think that our people need that time to regroup and reassess our situation. We need to find out who we are and once we do that define ourselves and teach each other. I’m not a racist I don’t have the economic, political, or means to impose my will upon anyone. My answer will never simply be seek Jesus because if that was the case I would throw all common sense to the wind and just pray for every situation to change. I would pray for the nation to be at peace, better education for all children, saving in Darfur, Romania and other ill places on the map, the answers aren’t as simple as looking in the sky and having faith. Faith is our last resort, our roll of the dice, what religious folks use to cover up the holes of unexplained occurrences, that ain’t me. What I am seeking is reprieve from those that have power over me so that I can get my weight up to look them in the eyes. The Lakota have the means to lift themselves out of the gutter and even though they have to means to do so Dem Boys took the rug out from under them. My question was how long will we ride as a people until we fold up. In my opinion the Lakota have the same fight we do right now because they willing to still try to grow the Hemp to eat and gain economic independence. As far as your suggestion, I’m cool with the summer programs but at the end of the day you still go home, and while I am all for people returning to the “hood†and giving back they can’t undo a lot of the damage of seeing someone shot or being shot, seeing your uncle strung out leaning on heroin when he used to be your hero. The system needs a kick in the ass the people need the heart to change it, and the government needs to interject when they are needed not when they see an economic development plan. Why do you think China town, any China Town in the nation has a very low crime rate? It ain’t because they have less crime it’s because they’ve got a closed community and don’t let outsiders in but to buy things and contribute money to the community. Shit they’ll set up shop and invade your hood with General Tso wait a minute they already did...
It's about that time.
Present. And I've got Stanchelon with me.
Good. Well let's get down to business. Speak Stanislas.
Hello Stanssional. I need a Stanical Chieftain like you. I need five sites made in the next 2 months. I need from you, some of the bandwidth that you seem to amass so effortlessly.
What’s in it for my people?
Twenty percent. And of course it would continue to increase.
And what does this mean for Stan Steamlia’s group?
I'll take care of the Steamlias, outta my share.
So I receive twenty percent for my builders, bandwidth, and my influence. Is that what you’re telling me?
That's right
British destruction of the secret society
The Thuggee cult was suppressed by the British rulers of India in 1828,[1] due largely to the efforts of Lord William Bentinck, Governor General of India from 1828, who started an extensive campaign involving profiling, intelligence, and executions. The campaign was heavily based on informants recruited from captured thugs who were offered protection on the condition that they told everything that they knew. By the 1870's, the Thug cult was extinct, but the concept of 'criminal tribes' and 'criminal castes' is still in use in India.[3] A police organisation known as the 'Thuggee and Dacoity Department' was established within the Government of India, with William Sleeman appointed Superintendent of the department in 1835. The Department remained in existence until 1904 when it was replaced by the Central Criminal Intelligence Department. The defeat of the Thuggees played a part in securing Indian loyalty to the British Raj.
Previous attempts at prosecuting and eliminating the thugs had been largely unsuccessful due to the lack of evidence for their crimes. The thugs' modus operandi yielded very little evidence: no witnesses, no weapons, and no corpses. Besides, the thugs usually made no confessions when captured. Another main reason was the fact that thug groups did not act locally, but all over the Indian subcontinent, including territories that did not belong to British India in combination with the fact that there was then no centralized criminal intelligence agency.
And history repeats itself.
hahahaha Ja is such a liar. what album did he realease last year? you have not been consistent Ja-you flopped. he's putting his own spin on the 50 situation cos that wasn't how it happened. fall off Ja seriously. ure material all became the same and wack not because 50 said people shouldnt listen to it.

you did a video that looked like the movie grease, corny nigga. it's ova.
When 50 came out we wasn't singing. He was spittin fire - Yayo and Banks was too. He was doing 1 hour freestlye sessions everytime he was hot 97 and putting out mixtapes everyweek. All that I mentioned plus the fact that Ja Rule was putting out the same old lovey-dovey tunes is the reason we all started riding with 50 cent.
I will admit 50 started singing like Ja Rule.
Anyone hear that new 50 cent & Justin Timberlake song? DJ Clue was playing that shit like 5 times in a row last night

Don't forget the Bobby Brown song
Big Sun
I get where you are coming from. I don't agree with everything you said, but I agree with the meat of it. I do believe getting a reprieve from the hood every now and again can help. That is the only reason I was saved. While I was born and raised there and did every kind of dirt imaginable I had school trips, I had government sponsored summer camp, I had government sponsored recreation programs. I had summers in The Bronx when there was still innocence in children. I had exposure to the finer things by my upper class albeit dead beat dad in my later teen years. All of those things helped save me because I could be a drug addict, drug dealer or convict right now without them. I was headed that way for sure and I fought tooth and nail for my street cred. Still in the back of my mind I thought of my father's life and knew I was better than the dirt I was doing. It can help. I didn't need to see white people doing well, because I always had that. It helped me to see black people doing well. That is why I think people that make it out need to go back and pull someone else up. Not just the rappers and maybe not them at all because they are forced to pretend they are still there mentally. I know business people who have made it out. Mostly everyone in my crew made it out and our history is known by those below us. Hell we were still getting into ghetto shit as adults, but we carried our asses to work everyday.
But I agree that we need to do it ourselves and do it together. The only suggestion I would have for the Lakota and for my people still stuck in the hood is to find a legal means. The Man ain't gonna let you do it illegally. That is the bottom line. There are legal ways to become finacially independent. Just think of the damage we could do if all the drug dealers across the hood had to give 20% of their profits to building businesses in their neighborhood with the purposes of getting out of the genocide that is the drug trade. There would be no stopping us.
I actually liked the last song Ja put out. I guess that is what you are referring to. I think I heard it here a couple of weeks ago. It had me bobbin my head. I don't mind him addressing the 50 thing since people do claim it is what ended his career, but I agree he shouldn't dwell on it too much.
Weakness will keep you running back to him for fear of the unknown, but strength will send you packing for the greater possibility.

lol. True dat!! Still if they give 20% we could do some damage. Just like corporate America out of 200 dealers in my small hood maybe 5 of them are what might be classified as rich. Maybe 20 are middle class and the rest are basically hoppers, but they could still contribute. They will build invaluable strength and a sense of responsibility from not just improving their lives, but their community.
You right though.

The free ride is over at 50 Cent's G-Unit Records.
The rap mogul has confessed he was overgenerous with artists on his label. In fact, Fitty spent $8.5 million of his own money to take a lot of the rappers on his most recent tour so that they could bring their entourages - and so that everyone could travel, as he says, "comfortably."
Not only that, he'd hand out hundreds of thousands of dollars to them at a time just for the asking, Sacha Jenkins writes in the new issue of XXL magazine. "Whether I got to give them $500,000 or $300,000 ... Just 'cause they want $300,000 more to make what they [are] doing at the time comfortable. Like, 'yo, I want to get this new place over here.' "
Sure, 50's got plenty of do-re-mi: His albums "Get Rich or Die Tryin' " and "The Massacre" sold 20 million copies combined. And though his album "curtis" is delayed till September, he's getting a payday playing a boxer in the Nicolas Cage movie "The Dance," and a drug dealer in "Righteous Kill" with Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. And there are the clothing and sneaker lines - and at least $100 million more he stands to make now that coca-cola has bought Glaceau, which owns Fitty's Formula 50 Vitamin Water.
But still, he called a meeting and told the artists at his label that the free ride was over.
"Laze was there as representation of M.O.P., Havoc and Prodigy," he told the hip-hop mag. "Banks, Buck. Spider was on the phone. Olivia was there. Sha Money was there. I broke it down. I told them I wouldn't be assisting them financially anymore. Pretty much I was telling them I wouldn't be there. [In the past] they'd make a lot of money and spend a lot of money and have me there to fix it."
There was another problem. "I looked around the room, and I was the only person with G-Unit sneakers on. But they were being paid," he adds. "It had become the norm for the check to come, but they were no longer wearing the clothes."
Still, 50 lives in the largest mansion in connecticut - Mike Tyson's former spread. He moved there from a basement room in his grandmother's house in Queens, where, in a visit beautifully shot by Ben Watts, 50 ruminates: "When I come back here ... it's like my feet are on the ground."

*Warning this post has nothing to do with hip hop, just an angry black man venting*
This whole campaign on getting people to snitch has gone to far!!! I'm all for the people snitching in order to get murders, rapist, drug dealers, etc locked up.
But when it comes to driving my car 120 mph on the highway, that's just dumb.
I made a fast trip to NYC last night and the fucking New Jersey Police has signs flashing that say:
"Report abusive Drives call #77 on your cell phone"
I say fuck that let the cops catch me in the act not some dumb fuck that I cut off 20 miles back!!!
Another reason why I think this is stupid is because in New Jersey it's illegal to use a cell phone while your driving. So these asshole Highway Patrol want us to break the law so we can help them pull people over? Are you kidding me!!!
@Eddy
Man, I would wear G-Unit shoes, clothes, all damn day if fiddys gonna cut me a 300K check every 6 months, shit.
Man, they stupid. Thats why Yayo is smart. He's like 50s Memph Bleek, hahahahaha.
"Have a baby by me baby, be a millionaire
I write the check before the baby comes who the fuck cares"
- I get money
