Second of all, what's with the slow response to Jim Jones' "Emotionless"? This track is decent, yet the buzz is nonexistent. I guess it's hard to beat "We Fly High," especially after people are saying that this hit was the height of his career. Not a good look. Let me help him out a little. Since it's been ignored, be a good sport and check out the vid.
Says Jim of the vid:

Where's the airplay. But then again, I haven't been listening to payola-funded broadcasting the radio lately.
And the NYPD saga continues... but then again, no one can really mark where it really began.
A lawyer asked federal prosecutors on Wednesday to look into whether the NYPD has been violating the civil rights of Hispanics and blacks. This lawyer is either not black or Hispanic, or is just plain blind to the ways of society, because the answer to that is obvious. Anyways, the attorney, named Michael Hardy, represents the families of both Sean Bell and Fermin Arzu, the Hondurian immigrant who was fatally shot earlier this month in The Bronx by an off-duty dirty cop.
Of course, upon the request of Hardy, the NYPD jumped to defense, saying that there is no discrimination "considering the descriptions of suspects provided by victims of crime."
If that's what you want to call a defense.
With my own eyes I saw a kid sitting slumped against a bodega wall after being shot during a (drive-by) shooting (it sounded like an automatic) on the corner of Archer Street and Taylor Avenue in The Bronx this past Monday. This story wouldn't dare mention it, but in addition to the NYPD "on duty" provoking conflict with the victim's (what I would assume to be) family members, the paramedics took a staggering twenty minutes to get the kid in the ambulance and then took an additional ten minutes to pull off the curb. During the first twenty minutes of the ambulance's arrival, the cops proceeded to place yellow tape around the victim and the surrounding crime premises while (one of) the ambulance(s) sat nearby for minutes, not taking any action. I didn't see any of the other victims who were mentioned in the above link, but I'm hoping the kid I saw wasn't the one who was shot in both the leg and chest, as mentioned in the NY1 article.
And let's not mention the seven other ambulance vehicles parked down Archer Street flashing their lights like it was Independence Day.
Point of it all: Don't get got in New York City. They don't give a f*ck, and you will probably die because of it.

How you feel about your boy Loso making a straight R&B Pop album. I was going to purchase it till I coped the bootleg. No purchase from me here I must of skipped over 2 songs and the rest was filler and pop. He had the nerve to ride off Jeezy sucessful production on "I luv it" They just modified the sample a bit but not much to where you would say "What the F%Ck! Speaking of Jeezy he even got that turtle face on it. The only song that goes hard is the one called Family not sure of the title there was like 4 emcee's on it and Joe Buddens killed them all. Not a good look Fabo lossed one. I'm just sticking to dudes mixtapes I have no idea who loso is on an Lp.Best albums so far this year hands down was Joell and Redman and I would say 80% of the fans crying about hip hop is dead never even purchased them. Those 2 albums don't ever stop getting play in the whip. Oh well Saigon where's your album at already.

Fuck the system first and foremost, I mean on the real I know good cops and bad cops i ain't gonna generalize with the police anymore because I got some help from a cop a couple of weeks ago and Son ain't have to help me. I think a more intelligent approach to the issue of dealing with authoritative figures such as the cops, politicians and whoever is to keep a closed community. If you look at the Asian community they don't have police problems; why? Because they don't let them, they don't snitch and they ain't wearing t-shirts that say stop snitching it's prety much a given for them. There is a hierarchy in crime in America, if you nickle and diming, moving a little weight here and there, credit card scams, you at the bottom of the barrel. Now if you running your own underground casino, got a whore house on the low, and you never been arrested you handlin your business. These things go on, every rich family in the world was birthed by a crime, unfortunately we gettting a very very late start on trying to set our families up for the future. On top of that a lot of the culture our kids are supposed to be taught about us as minorities is not passed down anymore soo the pride is gone, the dignity has been taken away from the hispanic and blackman just about everywhere and in single family homes where does a young boy whose father is locked up learn how to be a man? The streets, it's a cold way to learn yourself and a cyclic trap that plagues our community; so yeah we can say fuck the system and the cops and the politicians but we aren't taking the steps on a larger scale to really say fuck'em by getting our houses in order and keeping our community closed and dealing with our own street problems. If you want shit to stop step out of your house with like minded people and police your own community. Shout out to Brooklyn.

So my cousin 'Malo A' and 3 of his Colombian friends called 'Malo B, malo c and malo d' are at a popular club trying to get entry ...
I don't know who the bouncers were, they might have been standard security/bouncers of off duty cops performing as bouncers ...
Well anyway, the Colombians managed to get in ok, but 'Malo A' was asked for identification. He produced his drivers liscence as well as a student card. Keep in mind he is 21 at the time.
The bouncer, lets call him 'bitch A' and his friend behind the desk called 'bitch b' state that he must show his passport (dude total faggots) ... the third bouncer 'bitch C' is having a conversation with police outside the club.
Well 'Bitch A' starts telling 'Malo A' to get out of the club, as he cannot produce his passport, 'malo b' starts asking why ... then 'bitch b' jumps over the counter and floors 'malo b' and starts to lay into him ... 'malo c' tries to seperate the bouncer and 'malo b' ...
meanwhile, 'bitch c' comes into the club and king hits 'malo c' in the back of the head, 'malo A' gets floored and is getting kicked by 'bitch a', and 'malo b' is getting serviced by both 'bitch b & c' ... 'malo c' is out cold and has been taken outside by some female patron ... once 'bitch b & c' are finished kicking the crap out of 'malo b' they throw him outside, 'Malo A' gets kicked out of the venue, and is told by Police that the whole assault happened because they assaulted the a bouncer, they were causing trouble and if they didn't leave the area they would all be arrested ...
My cousin 'Malo A' says he wants the names of the police officers so he can report unethical conduct, one of the Police pull out his baton and the other pulls out what might have been his cap spray i don't know ... and is told a second time to 'fuck off' or he'll get a 'filling in' ...
People outside the club are saying this were all watching and didn't say shit ... The bouncers were all white and one was a pacific islander ... Both police officers were white ...
I don't have anything against the police but i seriously have something against unethical conduct ... for that i say 'A LA MIERDA CON LA POLICIAAAAA'

Yo boy LOSO's albums be on some TRL wannabe type stuff. i don't get how niggas bang on 50 for releasing pop songs, but LOSO is a savior. that last album i bought from Fab was filled with the best producers, and guest spots, and still managed to be mediocre, if not, sub-par. Fab is nice on the mic, but punchlines and a major label budget is the only thing that separates this nigga from MIMS.

That track with him, Jay and Uncle murda is garbage. I'm gonna tell you why for an anthem for the Boro of Brooklyn it's a missed attemped. (Try Joel's Brooklyn bulls%&t) Now that's an anthem. Uncle murder can't really rap all he does is talk reckless on a track like gangsta he's punchlines are non existent and Jay sound like his rapping and standing up sleeping. Dude hasn't been right since he came back his just rich now his heart isn't in this no more. 25 tracks? Well I have 15 so maybe I'll wait till the album comes out to see if it's different and I know he can't be gutter threw the whole album but 95% of it is pop and lazy alot of filler. I wanted dude to come with a good album but your dude just wants radio with this and his whole album looks like a compilation album. Basically it's an ok album not enough for me to purchase it. If I was to buy it I'll give it to my wife she loves R&B. He's album will is for the radio and the chicks. Which is cool but for you to say his going hard is beyond me.

i have to co-sign with this. i've been pulled over twice by cops with out getting told why i got pulled over and without being given a ticket (once while i was on a bike). but i've had a couple of run-ins with the cops up here in DC and each time they were cool. It's a small percentage of them that let they power go to they head, or over react to situations.
but i still don't like being around them because they make me nervous, even when i'm not doin anything wrong, they still get me nervous.

What we need to focus on is the current attitude that we foster, create and spread..and ensure that those learning "from us", are not learning these "power play" ideologies, and these "race dividing" attitudes...cuz you what you think is gonna happen once THEY get in power. The same thing.
We gotta work to change them attitudes of those who can still be changed. Cuz truth be told, the 60 year old white cop that hasn't liked black folks since the 50s....he's not gonna change now.
If we raise up a generation of "f the police" babies, and "buck the system"...how productive is that REALLY? Because like I said, it is doing NOTHING to change the current...and only poisoning the mindstate of the future.

You are ignoring the fact that there were people who changed that whole scenario from a PEACEFUL PROTEST (at which time the cops were just chillin off in the back) into THROWING ROCKS AND GETTING DANGEROUS.
Again...LEAVE means LEAVE. Just like in the club....when it gets crazy from a few folks, they'll close the whole spot down to avoid it becoming something it don't have to be if they just shut it down. And like I said, had they picked and chose who could stay..it woulda been a mess still.

Its that damned if you do, damned if you dont shit. Then people started hating because they thought it was cool to hate, WTF cool to hate? Naw, thats why I school these dumbass kids that talk about flop this flop that all that bullshit. They make hot music, period.
Fact is that the Yayo album I still rock, the Mobb album I never stopped.
The Bank$ album was weak because the first one got leaked, and it was hot as fuck. Then he had to go back to the drawing board, and he had like no marketing. Theres a couple hot tracks but you can tell the filler.
The Buck album, is aight, but I expected him to come harder on that shit (no T-Pain) another case where the mixtapes (Case Dismissed, Welcome to thr Trap House) were better than the album.
IMO, they handled it wrong. After the MOBB album dropped, they should have let the movie come and go (which is why noone else dropped until 4thQ) and then they shoulda dropped another G-Unit group album.
That woulda created the hype the same as the first go round and then everyone shoulda dropped their sophmore after the 2nd G-Unit album. Kna Mean?
Anyway, they're droppin another group album 4thQ and watch everyone jump back on G-Unit's dick after that.
