As previously reported, DMX is in the midst of dropping another album this June. When I first got the news I thought to myself, 'wow they're allowing him another LP so soon?' Think again. Turns out that this new album is just another (yawn) hits compilation. Unfortunately, for many artists, a hits compilation usually means it's a wrizzy.
He thought that moving from Def Jam to Sony for that lil minute was going to do him some good, but unfortunately, it has marked the lowest point in his career. He's lucky, with the way L.A Reid has been pressing the go button on all IDJ R&B artists and pressing the stop button on most of the hip-hop acts, that he's getting any kind of attention at all.

Album drops June 12th.
Just when I thought Papoose was gone forever, this track begins circulating around the net. Check out "Drop It," which features Busta, via Defsounds. Busta did a lil somethin, but Papoose, who spoke on a possible disaster hitting Manhattan island, definitely shook the subject matter. How many boroughs in NYC are on mainland? One: The Bronx, which is made up of hills all througout. I'm safe. Good luck to everyone else.
Listening closely to this song, I think it's about time to start racking up on my mixtapes again. The beat is melancholy and dark, the lyrics compliment it well. The intro, taken from a scene in the 1992 movie "Juice," jumpstarts it correctly. This track definitely gives you something to think about.

Pap is good to me but like all east coast artist well the majority of em cant ride a beat and spend no time goin back over tracks adding on and reverb and special effects and just masterin the track.
The just put the beat on and write they shit or freestly it on the mic and thats it their finished no more nothin. I cant listen to that, it gets boring and it sounds cheap but his lyrics are out the world so I like him. I was hopin that when he signed major they goin make him get some good beats and production so yeah i will buy his shit bang it a couple time then take it down to DJ's house and have him Chop and Screw it then its all good to go lmao!

A good exp is mystical and he aint from NYC. That nigga sound like he tawkin and rhymin. He dont sound like he grabbin the beat. He just had tight beats and catchy hooks and a diff style but he couldnt ride a beat for shit. Pap sometimes sounds like he tuned the beat out in his head and he consentratin on his lyrics only and he too busy tryin to get punchlines out which results in him sayin stupid lines like the TRL thing and makes him sound like he not riddin the beat. He didnt ride the beat on busta touch it song. he sounded a lil off. Busta was on it. banks was on it but him? no.

Theres a certin timing to each beat, like a metronome. Its either a 4, 8, or 16. Thats where the beat loops back. So being on beat means you're rhyming on the loop, or when it reloops. But so riding the beat is stayin on your counts, kinda like hjow choreagraphed dancing follows a 4 8 or 16 step drop, kna mean? But that dosent mean you cant rhyme several words in each line before the drop, like sick ass MCs do like, uhm, Eminem for example.

Gas companies post record profits because they lock into their barrel prices early. Just like if you owned a crib you can lock into a heating price before the winter hits and your bill will remain the same all the way through. So lets say the barrel cost is 62 dollars a barrel right now. They lock into that price and buy at that price for the coming months. Two weeks down the road the price of the barrel increases to 70 dolalrs a barrel so they increase their gallon price to match what the current rate is at when in all actuallity they only bought it at 62 dollars a barrel. Its reserve profit margin.
