Rapper 50 Cent's energy drink has given a real boost to his bank balance, for drinks giant Coca-Cola has bought the firm behind it for a whopping 400 million dollars.

Coca-Cola closed the deal on Glaceau, the firm which produces the Vitamin Water range called Formula 50 on Friday, May 25 for4.1 billion dollars.

And since 50 Cent owns 10 percent of Glaceau, the buy means that he's just profited by 400 million pounds, states AllHipHop.com, reports Contactmusic.

In the meantime, the rapper is getting set to show off his classical skills in a new TV advertisement for the energy drink, when he conducts a symphony orchestra through a rendition of his breakthrough hit, In Da Club.

Good for him, but I don't necessarily care about it. He's not sending any money or checks my way. So it's pretty irrelevant to me.

Why are y'all going so hard on Sean (Mims)? He's actually a good dude. His music might not be your taste, but he ain't doing nothing wrong by being here. I admire his positive attitude more than anything (dispite the obstacles he had to face to get here). I guess if you're not coming out like some super thug, they don't respect you. As for Miss Blair and her law suit. The only thing she is entitled to is the money for the performance fee (which is $2500). This case is hardly in the field of 7.5 million. If his lyrics were that offesive, why did she try and book him to perform in the first place? Can we say looking for a pay day.

Eddy G, I think she was just saying let dude be. Honestly, I get the vibe that some folks are just mad, because dude simply dropped an album. I see the reports that Coca Cola company brought Gleaco, but I don't see where it says 50 is going to profit 400 mill or that he owns a 10% stake in the company. I'm sure he'll get a heafty portion of the buy of the investment, but I don't see anything about 400 mill.
