Like Beyonce and "Sasha," Cam'ron has "Cam'run."
I gotta hold down my Uptown niggas to the fullest. But you see what I mean when I say these Diplomat dudes are always saying or doing something stupid? In a recent interview with Funkmaster Flex's Hot 97 radio show, Cam started running off at the mouth:
"Why is he [Hov] calling him [Juan Perez] OG? You don't call somebody younger than you OG," Cam sneered. "You don't know him. Juan, keep that gaffle up, I'm proud of you boy. You smart, he's from Harlem, he real smart and I know what he's doing."
"Juan is smart. He owns 40/40. He pimped Jay-Z's whole budget in Baseline. He said 'you know what you getting kinda old Jay, let's open a club' and pimped him for 40/40. Then he said 'I need a label Jay, why don't you give me Roc La Familia.' No problem. Then he says 'Jay, my artist [Tru Life] ain't popping, get on this mixtape. That mixtape got more play than Jay-Z's album."
"Juan, you the official OG from Harlem. You know when you got a mule," mocked Cam. "Keep him. Keep the mule. My fault, a camel, I didn't mean a mule."
Didn't this terrified nigga stumble through the Rucker basketball court trying to get out (to no avail) while his boy Jimmy was getting jumped? See, the problem with these little silly niggas who be idolizing these fake rappers is that they don't understand that these entertainers aren't living what they're rapping about. They portray the thug image, they get on the radio and run their mouths, they call names and make threats, make dis records, talk about bustin' gats, but the reality of it is that these dudes are soft. Softer than a batch of cookies fresh out the oven. In fact, these rappers idolize the niggas that used to terrorize the streets back when New York City was a trash dump. I hope people with some sense never believed anything other than the fact that their stories are reconstructed from shit they used to witness. Come on, b.
That goes for Curtis, Hell Rell, Lloyd Banks, Mobb Deep, J.R Writer, etcetera, etcetera. Unless you're taking classes, stop the acting.
When Cam got tested by a couple of street thugs, I thought he would've learned his lesson. Apparently not.
