BK Rapper Maino Snatches the Top Spot on Billboard; NYPD Strikes Again: Busta Rhymes Unjustly Shut Down

"March 1, 2007The image of Brooklyn rapper, MAINO now towers the streets of downtown Brooklyn in the form of a billboard. MAINO can be seen on a giant sized billboard at the notoriously known Brooklyn shopping corner of Fulton Street at Flatbush Avenue sporting the latest designs from clothing company STASH HOUSE: the new clothing line from the makers of AKADEMIKS. The new advertising campaign reflects some of hip hop's biggest names, including Jadakiss, Kay Slay, Jae Millz and DJ Drama representing the company's tagline "Stack Paper, Say Nothing."
Congrats to Maino for hitting up one of the biggest shopping areas in Brooklyn. But at the same time, where's dude's buzz? Yawn. I could see if he actually had a reason to be standing tall on Flatbush Avenue, but he has none. No mixtapes. No street single. No .... nothing. Frankly I'm becoming tired of these New York rappers. Niggas ain't doing shit... besides recycling, biting, or not progressing. So what's the point? Hang up the mic and leave it alone. The game ain't missing you.
In further New York shit, Busta Rhymes has been tagged by the cops once again.
According to HHNlive, Busta was banned by the NYPD from a Manhattan filming of the motion picture "Order of Redemption" earlier this weekend. The pigs say that this action was taken against Busta because of "security concerns" for the public. Unfortunately, the shoot will resume despite Busta's absence.
Director Jeff Celetano said via statement:
'This is tremendously unfair to Busta, who has been nothing but professional during this project. This is a bigger loss for the city of New York.''
I don't see how the action taken by the cops is in any way, shape, form, or fashion justifiable. But hey-- that's the NYPD for you.

G-Unit Records puts A LOT of artists on. If rappers were smart especially in hoods G-Unit is known to recruit from (rap or street wise) you should fuck with them and wait your turn. Instead everybody raps, gets a little buzz and gets a deal then gets dropped a week later.
It's also the labels fault. They are trying to find a NY artist to compete with 50 and then get him to make a crew to beat G-Unit. So they put on anybody with a name.
P.S. Dummies please don't start the G-Unit is dead mumbo jumbo. Yayo outsold everyone who's album came out the same year as him except Kanye I believe. Last I checked he was at 800,000 IN THE U.S. and MULTI PLATINUM WORLDWIDE. The only person on dipset who even sees gold is Santana. Name another artist in the last year who's gone platinum? Game isn't by the way but eventually he will just touch it.

i'd have to explain to them that alot of people are offended by those words, therefore they can't use them. i don't use them unless i'm with other people that i know use them. my parents don't cuss, but i'm in the military and i cuss like a mu'phucka, but i know when to cut it off. so if my kids really wanted to around their friends when they are older, i couldn't stop them.

I do that to my homeboy Rotwellier, and that dog be high all day fromt he smoke in that dayum house. I was watching him just Saturday and following his moves. This is what I observed from friday to Sunday. The dog follows the smoke in the house, if someone is smoking in the back he'll go in there and moves everytime the blunt is passed to the next person and continues to do so till it's gone. Then he'll come in the front room to see if someone is smoking in there and if there is then he'll post up right by you till you pass it unless your smoking by yourself. when it's all gone he goes and gets some water and some fiddles and then goes to sleep jsut like the rest of us pot heads in the house.
