There was something that I wanted to address about the Brooklyn MC.
Between his infamous mixtape hustle and his deal with Jive Records, people have seem to become less pleased with the Bed-Stuy lyricist, and those who were never really feeling the kid seemed to have turned away even more now than ever before. Of course he has his loyal following and is still reeling in the fans little by little, but what those who have been following Pap from his debut as the alphabetical slaughterer up until now have forgotten was these very lines: "Straight out of the archives of street lyricism... It's a new era in hip-hop!...BK banga!"
These lines were taken out of his introduction for the 2004 freestyle mixtape cut ["Time to load the clip/Can we take 'em to war!"] (which appeared on former Hot 97 DJ Sunny's The Passion and the Heist , among others). And if you missed the date, I said 2004, a year that was free of the "let's bring back New York" cliché, because the South was just getting their foot in the door at that time and the "I'm bringing back New York" thing hadn't even been created yet.
If you've never heard those lines before then examine it now; it's clear that Pap had established a blueprint for New York City way before an agenda was even started. It appears as if he was looking to bring something refreshing back to NY rap, but not out of desperation; it was simply out of the love of real hip-hop. I don't know how I missed that one, but it became clear to me recently. So where does he stand now? Even if he spoke on that song in retrospect, listening ears would fall deaf; so many New York rappers have since jumped on the bandwagon that no one would even give him credit for starting something that he probably didn't even realize he started himself.

I am a doubter of Pap's skills, I just think his rhyme scheme is off when he raps, the delivery seems forced out as upposed to coming off clean. Subject matter Pap has got some stuf but the delivery is just to forced. I can't fuck with him. Pap is a punchline rapper, and punchline rappers don't last long. Maybe they run out of stuff to punch at. However there is this trend with alot of Emcee's nowadays using metaphors and punchlines way to much. It seems like sometimes when one of these emcees runs out of subject matter to rap about or just thinks its necessary, they throw in a metaphor or punchline from out of leftfield somewhere. Sometimes these little "wordplays" don't even mesh with the song. Papoose is guilty of doing this sometimes. He got crazy skillz but I think he should try to stay away from doing that as much as he does....he's still a beast though. I think he'll get better with time though.

Nope, Rex Grossman first couple of weeks was see through. i knew he was a bum. The only reason they won both them games was cause the defensive front 7 is made up of trolls and brian urlaker is an olgor. Remember the Cardnal game when Rex's QB rating was -2.7, but defense and special teams scored 24 points (i think). Yeah, Rex is a scrub and he won't be starting next year. They could win with the mascot playin QB cause all i'd have to do is give the rock to Jones and Benson.
