Many of the tracks off of Kingdom Come they say are, in fact, "locked in key." But you wouldn't know that by the million and one Kingdom Come posts in the SOHH Forums.
So with that said, someone raised some valid points that I'd been overlooking:
"Reckless,"A while back, Jay-Z said that Nas challenged him to a battle by dropping albums on the same day. Jay said it wasn't a true Hip-Hop challenge of skills because MC Hammer sold 14 million records.
"Not sure if you heard Jay-Z clowning Jim Jones on the radio, but TECHNICALLY, is Jay-Z overlooking Jim Jones' accomplishments? He said that someone attacking him should have hits under his belt. I think that there is a scramble at Def Jam right now so that they can attempt to save Hov's album from being completely bashed. While I find the point valid that Jim Has had some catchy summer songs I can make the same point for certain McDonalds commercials that I have seen also. Capo (which I find to be a funny term for him especially because in Cam's "Horse and Carriage remix" he was cart wheeling like a 12 white bitch in gymnastics) hasn't impressed anyone lyrically even his fans will tell you he ain't lyrical he's just "Real". And I don't find him to be either, anyone that talks that much shit and then says paperwork is keeping him from smacking certain cats in the industry is a studio thug. I heard the leaked Jay album and its very average. The Jim Jones album has more bangers then the Jay album. Not saying the Jim album is better, but the Jay album aint all its cracked up to be. Seems like Cam and Jim left a sour taste in Jay's mouth because he is steadily taking shots at them throughout his album. Jay is trying to talk that business, while Jim has them street bangers.

What in the hell are some of you people listening to. Kingdom Come album is whack as hell on so many levels. to me, its probably the worst one he has created next to Blueprint 2. He is really on some commerical shit now with "Show Me What you got", and now "Hollywood". I was listening to the album all day yesterday trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. But it is nnot there. I understand growth and showing different dimensions to your flow and everything, but you can never lose yourself and your street credibility. Which he is appearing to lose. You still have to show love to the people that made you who you are and give them that vintage Jigga that everybody has come to love. I still love the 3 tracks that Dr.Dre produced off the album, but the rest of it sucks.
