Someone told me that I "hate New York City more than I hate Field Mob." And maybe it's because I cut down on G-Unit and Fat Joe so bad that this would be the only assertion one would come to. However, while the rigid despise for the Unit remains, I am forced, based on agreement with someone, to publicly apologize for calling the Trinity Ave MC "Fat Joke."
His album is actually decent. Now I didn't know what the hell he was thinking with that awful Lil Wayne collabo, "Make It Rain," 'cause the song is so poorly produced, poorly written, and just flat out poor period, that I could only scratch my head and wonder why he would even do a vid for this as a means to promoting his LP.
But that's just the problem with Joe... or so I thought. According to his publicity camp, he had tried to create some buzz with the take-it-back-to-the-streets joint "Damn," which is, I must say, something the hip-hop head Reckless would definitely rock. But unfortunately, because these program directors have their dicks so far up their ass, Joe had to take it to the bandwagon route to bag a little bit of airplay.
Before I knew what went down behind he scenes, and before I heard the cuts "Damn," "Pandemic," "Breathe and Stop," and a couple of others, it seemed as if Joe had scratched "My Lifestyle," scratched the first Terror Squad album, scratched street-anthem cuts like "Take a Look in My Life," and all that other good, grimy music to jump the bandwagon as a means to recapturing that R. Kelly collabo sound to go platinum once again.
Many say that on Me Myself and I, Joe has taken a return to the roots from which he started... and I listened. It's true. His album is pretty good. But with two tracks on the album with this little black troll, this Lil Wayne shit has got to stop. Seriously. Just stop it. Duke is not that serious. Just because Jay co-signed this little elf doesn't mean its official. Hov signed Lady Sovereign for crying out loud. Stick a fork in it.
I never bought a Fat Hoe album, and never will. Wrap it up!!!
what? i can't believe this...Joe...crack? i had given up hope on this dude as an emcee first then as an individual.....but if Reckless is willin to swallow his words i guess i better wait for my man to cop the album n give it a listen....
shit i need more than this post to get me to spend my on money on a Fat Joe record...i hope this shit is concrete!
PAMOJA!!! what's good kiss...caught your post yesterday...Niaje!
*edit* my own money on
PAMOJA!!!
He sold 61k his first week, lol. Nobody bought it.
Can somebody please tell me why is Fat Joke still rappin. Does anybody care about what he has to say? How many hits does he have under his belt? The only reason he got problems with Jay n 50 is cause they do what he cant do "MAKE HITS". Pun was the illest to come out of TS then Remy. Remy had more hitz on 1 album than he had in 10 yrs. A chick is reppin his team better than him. How could the leader of TS not have a classic album, and claim he the king of NY. He aint even the king of his team, Remy is
Dont be fooled by the single joes album is mad street it feels like 90s hip hop myspace.com/ninohnewjack myspace.com/ninohnewjack
what a waste.....
First off, why the hell is everyone all of a sudden hatin on lil wayne? you bloggers kill me. Gillie da kid comes out with some bullshit and now everybody hates him. Nigga has been nice since the start of cash money, now he's a little troll? Fat joe hasn't been hot since Pun died(check Don Cartegena). He's had Remy and some other cat write for him. He's boring. His production is hot but he's not. You niggas don't know music
wayne isnt that bad...i actually liked tha carter 2...it was actually one of my favorite albums from last year...wayne is not as good as everyone thinks though...his last two albums were tight as are his rhymes but some of the things he says in interviews and some of the topics in his songs are ridiculous...i respect him as an emcee and i think he will be one of the few from the south that will survive when new york returns to prominence

THERE HASN'T BEEN A TERROR IN SQUAD SINCE THE PUN ERA!
The problem with Fat Joe is that he really thinks he is a BOSS. HE acts BOSS and talks BOSS but nobody believes he is BOSS. You would think that the nigga has gone platinum and won grammy by the way he carries himself and thats all good.
He actually would be a BOSS if he paid attention to anybody but himself but since nobody else pays him attention he HASNOCHOICE.
Fatsoe's made some bangers. But he is one arrogant self-minded bully. Look at the way he acted on Wild N Out, couldn't even take a joke.
And what about the interview on Funk Flex's show, where he didn't even let Funk speak, although Funk just sounded like he was scared of him and just sucked up to him.
And Fatsoe wants to go on about how he's for the people. Which people? The same communities he floods cheap crack to? That's AGAINST the people.
He needs to be in jail, not in the charts...
If u niggaz would pull ur heads out of ur asses long enuff to actually listen some music, u would kno that joe's album is fire. Stop da fukking hating homos. If the shit is good, just say it. Aint no extra charge for a positive comment even if u dont like da guy. And i bet some of u got kidz. What a fukking example u are.

whats up odhis,,,,,niaje
doctors advocate is straight fire....jus get used to t he game name droppin...but i think it will sell more dependin on the next single he releases...
old english ,da shit or that song with will.i.am compton can be singles...am his fan though i thought called out dr.dre too many times...
Granted Reckless may have come at Lil Wayne a little hard, but what I took from it and agree with is that no artist needs to have any guest on their album twice. One collabo is enough.

That's what, I'm saying homie. I don't like Jim because he runs his mouth too much but I can't front either I've sreamed BAAAAALLLLLING! jamming in the ride. It's a hot song, period. By the way I went to try to cop Jay's Kindome Come, I ended up leaving with a copy of S.Carter Vol 3, I lost my copy. I can't buy Kingdom Come, I think it's a bad album. Since his album released I've been getting reacquainted with his past albums Blueprint and The Black Album. Jay really put no effort into his KINGDOM COME Album. Can you believe 106 and park handed him the whole fuckin show today? Yo I never seen them do that shit for Diddy. Damn, who has the key to the city now.
what happened to the 'revolover' song? if that was the only song i heard on the radio, i would have bought it already, but that song with wayne is on some band wagon shit. i know the south runs it right now, but we can tell when u just doin something cause it's hot.bright side is, the plaque he'll get for going wood will match the walls of his house.

personally I like Lil Wayne
but not everyone has the same ear for music
everyones not gonna like what ub like and vice versa
perfect example
I think Dipset sucks! but there's alot of people that love them mofo's
it has nothing to do with where he's from everyones not gonna feel him
don't get it twisted mad people up north love him
don't start this North vs South BS Please
anyway
Ima take a chance on Fat Joe
I did like Loyalty
the single is maaad Commercial so I expected more of the same corney sht he's been on.
But alot of yall are saying he took it back. Ima wait till I heard a few more cuts and then If I'm pleased I'll cop it.

Jay-z came stupid soft and effortless on this album. Even the the good joints on there is mediocre. I think lost ones is the top dog on the whole album.
********To everyone angry at Reckless for dissing Wayne*****************
For the first time in this blog's history, Reckless DID NOT, and i repeat DID NOT take a shot at wayne. He just stated that the colabo WITH wayne was garbage. and it was, wayne didn't even spit a verse, the beat was wack, and the whole song is wack. want proof, look at the charts, aint nobody bumpin it.
RECKLESS u owe me!
I'll give you one thing Reckless, you are consistent. You consistently find some way to bash a Southern artist in EVERY post you make. W/E do you.
I'm glad people are starting to fall out of this region hate. Its good for us all.

What's up NYC?
I gotta say that The Blue Carpet is ssssooooo not what I expected - it's better! Snoop really went back to the shed and pull out a damn hand granade!
I am anxiously awaiting Nas and I got a lil sneak Preview of The Clipse - and they got me sold! I am buying that shit 2 times - one for me and one for my lil brother!
I got so much damn music I get a migraine trying to decided what to play.
The Game is hot! Kingdome Come is good!
Akon - I will get that next week! Snoop is that shit though - this my favorite overall right now!
Banga!:
Please buy Snoop - you will not be disappointed - please believe!
Jigga's album is okay. It's a good listen but this not that gutta shit ya know. My brother did not like it. He said it was too soft for him - but I like it alright - of course I gotta go with Snoop for the best - Game is tight but Snoops shit is the best so far!
Next
Another blog of RECKLESS takin shots at the south!
its a damn shame.
Lil wayne is what new york needs right now, he is the only one from the south right now that really fucks wit new york and being that he went platinum on all his albums, he has alot of die hard dick riddin fans, so if he go new york then so will his millions of fans, so yeah its actually the best look for new york right now. Because if your a true hip hop head like alot of you niggaz claim to be then, you would recognize that this nigga is the truth on the mic.

I gotta co-sign that. I picked up Jay yesterday too. It's bad before I even had listened to any tracks, I already had perceived in to be soft. He came thru on a couple tracks, though. The dude is corporate, a mogul, and major investor now. So, I don't expect his subject matter to be compared to that of Reasonable Doubt.
That Snoop is crack though! I guess he got real pissed at the state of hip hop and tired of people saying he went "pop". He came back with a vengence. Best since Doggystyle i.m.o.
Gangsta Rap is started to come back. A solid album by Cube, the Game, and now Snoop! Ahh...I just don't know what to do, and I'm not even from the West Coast.

Right on- That Lil Wayne collabo is so WACK. These artists need to stand up and release the street songs, that's what the public wants, and it will HELP sales.
Lil Wayne is so overrated, I can barely hear him flow, it is all mumbles, rims, ice blah blah blah.
Bring on Talib, Mos Def next month- True MC's, not just commercial gimmicks.
Doctor's Advocate is solid West Coast CD. Not quite a classic, but it grows on you. Please release the Jamie Foxx track, and get us hyped in the club.
Jay-Z- needs to release '30 something' as the next single, Dre killed it on this one. CD is solid.
Snoop's CD is top shelf too. He gives 20+ plus tracks again, lots on there. Not as Gangsta as advertised but quality.
Predict Jay 500k first week, Snoop around 300k.
Gangsta Rap is started to come back. A solid album by Cube, the Game, and now Snoop! Ahh...I just don't know what to do, and I'm not even from the West Coast.

But see, thats how alot of Northern rappers sound to the South. Nothin but a bunch of big words and metaphors to try and sound intelligent. But, at the end of the day all that mathmatics doesnt add up.
It just sounds redundant and played.
go to myspace/unknown@streetstructure.com
Oh and I wasnt giving "Cracks" record a chance either but I did listen to it...liked it for the most part and I'll possibly cop it too.
KSH
IT sounds like we might have similar taste. If you say that Snoop is better the Game, which is fire in my opinion, than I'm gonna go cop that. I hope you right because I ain't really been feeling Snoop for a while, but I just love the Cali ish.
im a real big hip hop fan and jayz fan , but im telling you right now not to waste you money on kingdom come. i would rather listen to his shit with r kelly than this cd. there is not one true hip hop song on there and it is defineately a pop cd. jayz has sold us out and now hes doing a song with fall out boy. go out and buy snoop and game then ugk.
Mike, you just as silly homey. That was in no way a co-sign to you my brotha...and I don't want to be brought into yours and his lil "frill"...I want to holla at him on that next level.

---- None taken, but plain and simple you don't know me... you on Christianity all day, but cause i'm clownin around from time to time you mistake it as ignorance. Trust i'm not trying to get high and mighty by any means right now, but because you can sit there and copy and paste scripture verses all day because i'm guessing your probably very recently born again, i do respect that, but don't try to talk above me on a subject matter when to be quite frank and in all honestly i could school you all day on... i know we are working for the same common goal so don't take this as a stab, but be easy on criticism, leave that for the scoffers
But see, thats how alot of Northern rappers sound to the South.
^ Yeah I know. The thing is wayne doesnt use all those big words and I dont think he tries to sound intelligent..If anything he tries to sound too witty but it just doesnt work
Again Reckless you need to slap yourself for promoting the southern hate again Field Mob and wayne are beeter then Woodset, and some other up north rappers. Joe's album is good, Jay's is fire, Snoop's is a must have. Wayne and Field Mob could run circles around Jenny Jones and gu gu ga ga baby Cam.
What do ya'll have to be thankful for today?
1) Ive been in college for almost a year.
2) I own two cars(ones a muscle car)
3) Ive been blessed enough to see 19.
4) All of my family is in good health
5) A lot of good music has been/is going to be released this year:)
6) Read #5 again
7) Within the next couple months im gonna have my own place
@BANGA
Yo! Jay-Z joint is tight, It's just like Jay said he changes his styles every two ryhmes. And if you are a true fan you know you have to listen to the joints more than once to really get what he's talking about. So right know he get's 4 stars.
Bring on Talib, Mos Def next month- True MC's, not just commercial gimmicks.
Cosigin
Okay, I have a question for anyone to answer. In your opinion what makes a street song/album? I ask because someone said Jay's album is not good because it doesn't have any street songs or something like that. And someone else said that making street albums would HELP sales. I disagree there. Most of the artists that do go big have some kind of crossover appeal. White people aren't gonna buy street music for real. Hell, the way sales are now black people aren't buying street music either.
Buy what you like. Don't let a region be a factor.
But see, thats how alot of Northern rappers sound to the South. Nothin but a bunch of big words and metaphors to try and sound intelligent. But, at the end of the day all that mathmatics doesnt add up.
It just sounds redundant and played.

Now if that wasnt a shot at him then I dont what is. Everyone is not going to like everyone this is true. But I honestly believe that just because this nigga is from the South, alot of up North cats hate on him.
Because if your a true hip hop head like alot of you niggaz claim to be then, you would recognize that this nigga is the truth on the mic.

It's pride that makes a man feel like that, and it's pride that brought sin into the world. Pride is the root of all sin. Your pride made you buck me on your message...but I will not allow my pride to get me.
I send your blessings your way young man. Maybe next time I'm in Houston you and I can hook up and you can school me. I'm all about learning as much as I can about the Word and also ready to be used to by God to bring correction to others where I'm lead.

What city you in? We probably already got SEALS there...and would like to meet with you and discuss man to man the truths. Intelligent, educated discussion between grown folks regarding very important issues.
Hey...only one of three things could happen. You might be lead to the truth, you might lead somebody to the truth, or you would both go away unfazed.
Below is my response to that reference to the Gospel of John that mentioned. I went and copied it from the other blog so you wouldn't have to go far.
Let me know where you at and let's get it crackin. Make your "god" proud and share it homey....don't disappointment "him/her/it".
Christ Bless!
Huey,
He is doing just as I said, flipping it back on the pharisees based on the truth. That scripture that you referenced actually refers back to the following verses from the Old Testament (before Jesus). I've quoted from the amplified version to break it down for you.
"Psalm 82:1 GOD STANDS in the assembly [of the representatives] of God; in the midst of the magistrates or judges He gives judgment [as] among the gods. 2How long will you [magistrates or judges] judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]! 3Do justice to the weak (poor) and fatherless; maintain the rights of the afflicted and needy. 4Deliver the poor and needy; rescue them out of the hand of the wicked. 5[The magistrates and judges] know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in the darkness [of complacent satisfaction]; all the foundations of the earth [the fundamental principles upon which rests the administration of justice] are shaking. 6I said, You are gods [since you judge on My behalf, as My representatives]; indeed, all of you are children of the Most High.(A) 7But you shall die as men and fall as one of the princes. 8Arise, O God, judge the earth! For to You belong all the nations.(B)"
This verse refers to the Magistrates and Judges of that time..remembering that during that time government and religion were one....with religion dictating government. So on whose behalf did the judges judge? Who were the judges representing??
Ok..now back to the verse in John...and Jesus with the confrontation with the pharisees. He's basically saying..."how are you going to condemn me for claiming to be the Son of God when in fact, based on your position, by the Law...you are also called "gods".
The point he was making is that even if they didn't believe who Jesus was..that they should have faith in the works he was doing. In the same manner that the God had labeled them "gods" for the work that they were responsible in doing.
Again, Jesus was showing them that they their judgement and what it is based on applies to them as well.
Christ Bless!

Texas baby!
Oh and Texas for not sellin out, at least not yet, we still make that music thats true to our peeps.
First and foremost, Games album is trash. I cant play it over and over like expected.
Niggas really need to get off his shit to make him realise that he cant expect to sell if he only cares about the loyalty of his fan without putting out any good materials. The lyrics are very poor. The same ol' game rapping about NWA, Dre, Easy E. Impala and rims'.
He is always recycling lyrics in all his lines. I dont think he deserves the respect he has as MC.
And you really hating on Lil Wayne? I cant believe you.. Have you been alive for the last couple of years?
Fat Joe's album is a classic. I cant believe yall find it very hard to respect him again.
His album is 10x better than Games advocate shit.
if you bought games album and not joe's you better return it if you have not unwrapped it yet.
I dont care about them both since none is my favorite but Fat Joe's album should be the best this year untill lil wayne drops
LOL @ huey

Let's face it, this Cash Money, South finger snap is not really HIP HOP. The beats are not there, they talk about nothing. How money cash money songs talk about their fleet of cars, ice grills, pinkies etc. It's not like they are dropping' Knowledge' like Guru, Talib, Mos Def. Stunting Like mY Daddy is so wack, the beats are so Tinny. Give me some bass please, give me some Dre drums. I see this music as a branch off from Hip Hop. Not true MC'ing.
Jay is on a different level with what he spits on Kingdom Come, Black Album.
Things i'm thankful for:
1) Democrats run Congress
2) The Cowboys are going to the Superbowl
3) the plastic things on the end of shoelaces
4) KKKramer showing telling me how he really feels after 10 yrs of being a Seinfeld fan
5) I can buy Red Bulls in 4 packs instead of individuals
6) My album getting good reviews (i'm the ghost writer for 'kindom come')

And then ask yourself...dang...why do I dangle on the nuts of another man and spend all my time worrying about these folks that don't give two terds about my life or what I thru.
Call me a fanatic bro..I'll be that. But it's because I love ya homey, and hate to see fools marchin just because everyone else is. It takes a man to walk this narrow path homey.

Lets analyze this statement. At first glance it looks like your stereotypical southern bash but after further review it speaks some truth.
You are right, snap muzic isn't hip hop music. Its...snap music, a branch of rap which is a branch of hip hop. You saying that Wayne isn't talking about nothing, hell most artists aren't on mos' level of lyricism.
I guarantee you, for every southern artists that some of ya'll try to bash I can give you an east coast artist of equal or lesser value.
Your move...
If i die and go to heaven, and Jesus is sittin' on the throne lookin' blacker than a bag of coal, straight outta Nigeria you can still bet i'm gonna fall to my knees and praise him and thank him for giving his life to save my soul.

Animate- Point taken, you are right. I work with kids and we talk about hip hop, all they know is chamillionaire, young joc etc, they have no grasp of 'HIP HOP' and it roots, the true mc's. I hate that radio will not play the true tracks.
Thats right North vs South all day baby!
Lets get a good battle in before the Holidays!
and all you up north cats hatin on Weezy. Fuck ya'll clowns. You niggaz just cant stand to see Southern nigga shine.
So FUCK YOU! U fuckin crab mentality, tunnel vision, all i care about is metaphors and subliminals so I dont know how to make an actual song wack clown niggaz!!!!!
Dont act like Snap and Crunk are the only things the South has to offer! You niggaz use the same weak ass arguements everytime.
@ Huey
yeah i know, but i try and forget that shit when my plate is full of turkey and stuffing.
Well I see that some of you are just dumb.
But all the same i dont expect some people to really "get it". You are the kind of people who are blinded to buy certain albums due to how the rapper presents himself and how much of him you cant have.
Game sold his album totally based on tha fact that people remember him when ever G unit is scpoken off. and based on the recent disappointments of g unit records, game got a head on lead with 380k.
just 380k? lets assume there is a 50% depreciation next week? just gold? how much did T.I sell without all this hype.
how much did rick ross sell with just one street banger when he was hardly known by anyone?
Game is a poor lyricist and i think we all know that. If your favorite rapper is Game? You need to look up what the underlining factor of a good rapper is; his lyrics.
You can hate on the presentation of south music. just dont listen to the beat for once, thats no the job of the rapper but the producers. just listen to the lyrics and show me what you got.
the real definition of hip hop shouldnt be the beat and bass, i believe it is the "art of ghetto writing"
Posted by: Kempy at November 22, 2006 10:44 AM
see you almost had me
with Comparing Lil Wayne to Mos and Talib
but then you big up Jay new album
but hold up
Wayne content of music is no different than Jay-Z
style wise their very similar
personally I Like Wayne and he's not doing anything musically that any east coast artist we respect is doing.
U can't big up Jay who talks about Money, cars, hoes, success his legacy,
and strays into something real for one or 2 songs and knock Wayne who pretty much has the same blue print with slightly less skill
thats primarilly who Jay endorses Wayne cause he sees some of himself in him.
If you into content based music like Mos and Talib which I Love 2 and you dislike Wayne in comparision u also must no feel Jay whose music is pretty much the same sht.
Granted stuntin like my daddy isn't necessarilly a great moment in hip hop
but neither is show me what u got
their both what they are
records targeted for the club to push sales I ain't mad at either one.
but I ain't saying their evidence that these 2 are quality artist either.
They both capable of much more.
Kempy
Man we all feel the same way. But dont stereotype an entire region. I know it easy to stereotype because thats all the radio wants to play-BULLSHIT.
But you gotta give some credit where credit is due. The South has plenty of lyricist. Their just not being promoted. Just like the ill underground niggaz from NY.

Yep...that idiot is a big reason why too many people stay focused on what other men do and say, versus focusing on relationship with God and not religion.
Nothing he said is based on the bible, nor can he back up any of those idiotic beliefs/statements from the bible. He actually contradicts the very belief of a real Christian, that all men are equal in God's eyes.
And you'll never hear me on the racist tip. My wife is a beautiful mixed woman and we have a beautiful mixed daughter that is two. I also have a 4 year old step son whom I father which is 1/4 Thai, 1/4 Mexican, 1/4 White, 1/4 Black. I have another son with another Hispanic woman, I have another daughter with a mixed woman (black/white) who is 1, and I have a full white son who is 5. So no...racism angers me.
According to Huey's belief, I'm a decendent of a cave dweller. lol
Please understand..I'm not preaching religion. Just that Jesus Christ died on the cross for each of us individually so that who ever believes in him will receive eternal life. Personal relationship between God and man. That's it.

Cuz if you are thats not very Christian like. In fact, it's kinda ignorant.

-Kay-
Actually since he is independent Joe recouped after the 50,000 albums were sold- so lets say he gets 7.50 an album and thats low for an indie, he still make 75,000 his 1st week, and every sale after today the money is his, and on top of that the streets may actually start feeling him again.
I like the hustle and grind.
@ pz
you go around calling people names in spite... that's just as bad as cursing cause it's not the word that is the sin, it's the meaning in your heart behind it... so calling someone a mother fucker when your mad in traffic, and screaming JERK at somebody is equal in God's eyes cause your heart is angry at that moment and it's not the word that is the actual sin...
PZ please correct me if I am wrong but are you sending shots at the Muslim faith?

Naw...I didn't send any shots at the Muslim faith. What you talking about? But just so you know, and just to correct you in love...that fact you claim is a lie. It is Christians responsibility to call out false religions. That is also why you will see I am constantly calling out the church and trying to take mens eyes off of the churches, because religion has become corrupt. It is very Christian like to call out false religions. It is our duty to do so. If you can direct me to any scripture that speaks other wise, please do. If you would like scripture to back up what I just said...please let me know.
Speaking of Muslims, below is a post from my brotha KinZ on the "SEALS MySpot."

TO ALL THE MUSLIMS: Did you know that if you were not breast fed by your mother you are not really a muslim.
That is your Koran...
AND your leader MOHAMED "knows" he saw Gabrielle(an angel of God) because he looked through his wife's blouse and the angel didn't dissapear, therefore it was a message from God...
Sounds foolproof to me...
Also a lil sidenote, over 1million muslims converted to christianity last year. Praise God.

Man, you sure you want to open that can of worms. Of course may not agree with me on my selections but w/e. They are my joints.
T.I. - What You Know. (Still bumpin after 9 months)
Young Dro - Gangsta
Purple Ribbon - Kryptonite (That and Stay Fly @ around the same time)
P$C - 25 to Life (MacBoney is a beast)
I could go on but like I said, the whole topic is subjective. No one is gonna agree on everything.

From what I read in the bible you are not supposed to wear your christianity on you sleeve. Most "devout" christians I know igore that particular verse. The problem with us going around repping God or Jesus is that we are not worthy to really have their name associated with ours publicly. You are arguing on a blog. Do you think that is something Christ would like? Are you drawing people to good or pushing them away? You should be chilling in the cut somewhere trying your best to do what's right and observing more than talking.
Just my opinion based on what I got from the bible.

Check for Stat Quo too. This nigga is signed to Shady/Aftermath.
You cant really talk about the artist today because everything is so commercial. You know that.

I'm in the same boat as you. I am a grown woman on a blog full of people who are a lot younger than me. You know how often you young folk talk about 30 year olds needing to retire. Since I am grown I can handle the negativity a lot better and totally ingore it most of the time because I know it's young people that may not understand my wisdom.
What they don't get is that at 40, 50, 60 and forever they will be music fans. You never ever get too old for it.
As for you I will admit that as a professional woman I expect and see many white guys your age doing as well as you are doing except without the homeownership in most cases. When I saw your post I was happy to see a brotha accomplishing all that because the fact is you don't see that often.
Still you are doing the damn thing and really holding your own like a grown ass man. You still aight wit me.

Bird,
Thanks for sharing. What verse are you referring to, I'd like to view it in context of where it is located in the Word.
Below is a direct quote from the Word which completely contradicts your statement of "chilling in the cut somewhere trying your best to do what's right and observing more than talking."
"Matthew 28:18 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
If the disciples have followed your advice, and not boldly went to the places that "did not want to hear it", or did not "stand up for the truth" when it may have hurt someone else's feelings....how far would it have went?
See...it isn't for me to be wrapped up in the feelings another person may catch regarding these hard truths I'm speaking on. It is my job to put the truth out there in love, and proclaim it. I have made myself available to any and everyone that has questions on any points I've made or brought forth, and I've even offered to meet man to man to debate the truths head up.
I've received much support from Christians regarding the Work I'm doing on this blog. I do not argue, I post truth...supported by the Word. It is called planting a seed. If my firmness and boldness for the Lord touches one person on this blog...it's worth it. I've gotten emails from people viewing (but not bold enough to post) stating how they were drawn to the truths I've been stating. I've made connections with other like minded Christians because of the work I do here which will undoubtedly lead to strong relationships in ministry in the future.
The Word tells us not to boast of any works that we do, but to give all praise to Him. I have not taken or accepted any praise because this is not my work, this is the Lords.
I'm not on here to argue on a blog..that's nonsense. But I will use every means available to me in order to reach the masses and toss a seed.
Please direct me to the truth that you claimed with the "wearing on a sleeve". The sit down and shut up and follow view point of many religions IS NOT preached in the bible.
It is in Christs love I post this Kay. I look forward to hearing back. There may be something about what I'm doing that the Lord wants to speak through you...to me so please respond. If this is the case, I pray that He send you with scripture to show me what God says...not how "we" feel.
Christ Bless!

Two popular rap acts occupy the top two spots on The Billboard 200 this week, with the Game's "Doctor's Advocate" coming in at No. 1. The Geffen effort moved 358,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan, a couple hundred thousand copies fewer than the 587,000 that greeted his debut "The Documentary" in 2005. "Doctor's Advocate" manages No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart as well.
Akon's SRC/Up Front/Konvict set "Konvicted" sold 284,000, enough to earn him the No. 2 slot on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and The Billboard 200. This sales week trumps the first week of his 2004 album "Trouble" almost a dozen times over. Its strong numbers were likely fueled by the successful singles "I Wanna Love You" (featuring Snoop Dogg) and "Smack That" (featuring Eminem), both of which have peaked at No. 2 on The Hot 100 thus far.
Sony BMG Strategic Marketing Group/EMI/Universal/Zomba hits compilation"NOW 23" falls to No. 3 after its No. 1 start last week, selling 194,000 (a sales slide of 42%). Josh Groban's "Awake" (143/Reprise) follows suit, descending 2-4 with 150,000 and -44% sales hit.
The soundtrack to Disney's "Hannah Montana" keeps the No. 5 spot warm for a second week with 114,000 and a 13% dip. Keith Urban's Capitol Nashville release "Love, Pain & the Whole Crazy Thing" moves 3-6 with 103,000 (-62%) while Sugarland's "Enjoy the Ride" (Mercury) slips 4-7 with 81,000 (-61%).
Rock duo Tenacious D returns for the first time since its 2001 self-titled debut with the soundtrack to the film "The Pick of Destiny" at No. 8. The movie, which unveils the (fictional) beginnings of the duo's history, opens today in over 1,800 theaters. "Tenacious D" entered and peaked at No. 33 on The Billboard 200 with 42,000 in 2001, but spent 43 weeks on the chart and, since its release, has sold 987,000.
Beyonce's Columbia set "B'Day" re-enters the top tier, climbing 16-9 with 68,000 and a 17% sales increase.
"When Your Heart Stops Beating" by (+44), which comprises of two former Blink 182 members, enters at No. 10. The Interscope release moves 66,000 units and enters at No. 2 on the Top Rock Albums chart, behind "Pick of Destiny."
Damien Rice's "9" cracks the big chart at No. 22 with 45,000, becoming his best charting and sales week; his 2003 album "O" only managed a No. 114 peak. Other big debuts this week include Kenny G's "I'm In the Mood for Love" (No. 37; 32,000) and Staind's "Singles 1996-2006" (No. 41; 27,000).
Overall CD sales are up 4.5% from last week's count and down 4.7% compared to the same week a year ago at 12.49 million units. Sales for 2006 are down 5% compared to 2005 at 468.7 million units.

Bird,
What if that was true? What if God did mean for only these 12 disciples to share?? Does that mean God did not intend for the individuals whom they did not personally speak to, does that mean God didn't want them to be reached???
That is a lie from the devil.
How about when Saul was converted? He was not one of the 12 disciples.
There are many cases in the bible where the understudy of the disciple or other leader was sent out to spread the truth.
We are all commissioned...don't believe the lie. Even you are. Besides "gospel" means "Good News".
What good is the news if it is not told??

Memo to Cash Money/Mannie etc, Please stop telling me how much you paid for your ice, I heard it already, it doesn't help me in any way. I know you got cars and rims. And add some bass to the beat.
Lil' Wayne- go and do a CD of all roughneck bangers, some East Coast beats, or even just stay away from the tinny stuff. Then I might be able to get to what you're saying, instead of cringing at the beat.
Give me something I can use, something that makes me feel better about being alive. Make me laugh, make me want to party, or inspire me, like GURU
"Never put the 2 beofre the 1 Son"
"Don't be quick to judge, you may not know the hardships people don't speak of"
That right there made me a better person.

Bird,
I forgot to address the "People have differant interpretations of the bible" comment.
This is also a misconstrued idea which has been twisted by satan into a lie.
It is very true that there are truths in the bible that may not be revealed to one person at the same time they are revealed to another.
But there are NEVER two completely interpretations of the same TRUTH. One has to be a lie.
Now, don't get that confused with the fact that there may be five different people reading the same verse, and each of the five receive a different revelation or message from that truth. BUT...they will NEVER conflict and be in disagreement. They will compound off of each other and will serve the greater WHOLE truth of that passage. NEVER will they conflict, like you and I are conflicting over the "great commission verse".
And when that happens, the first thing we must do is which of the truths is in the character of God's will? That is the starting point for breaking down the lie. There's more too it, but normally...this will begin the simple disection of a complicated lie.
Yo..I'm running downstairs to grub. Be back in 30 minutes...and hope to continue this discussion.

R U familiar with the Egyptian Mystery Schools where Jesus and Moses both learned knowledge of themselves?
Posted by: Huey Freeman at November 22, 2006 12:12 PM
--------------------------
If it's a mystery, then how do you know about it?? Oh yeah...you're God.
"Revelations 22:18I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. 19And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book."
If the Egyptian Mystery Schools ain't mentioned in the Bible, keep it to yourself.
PS: Jesus is God, He IS the teacher.

You thought i was black at first? haha well no worries thanks for feeling the same after you found out i'm white. I mean my sweat falls on the same ground as black man, and my bones hurt just the same... i respect people older than myself... as my grandpa used to tell me... "son i've been your age, you haven't been mine" it always kept experience/wisdom of those older than myself in prespective, i never got cocky in regards to that subject of age when i was younger... and then as my dad said, " you gotta make hay while the sun shines" i work hard, save alot, and cap my lifestyle to live within my means.
I gave up on Fat Joe a long time ago. But a friend bought the album, so I listened last night and must agree, he has dropped a great one. The first and last tracks are definitely bangers.
I'm feeling you on the Lil' Wayne shit. I don't get it either. That single is horrible.
PZ, I respect what you are doing and all but to me you are coming across as a little "Holier than though" and like you have a lock on Christianity. That, to me, turns people off.
You can't take in a hungry man and the first thing you feed him is the word. Start with a sandwich.
I really ain't tryin to come off like that and I don't see how I am. Would you tell me how I am coming off like that, cuz you might be right. I ain't tryin to...and I don't see it, so let me know so I can deal with it if necessary. Cuz I'm still a human, and I'm not perfect, and I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea about what a real Christian is supposed to be about based on how I may be acting.
Now there is a difference in me coming across like that, and someone maybe bein tugged at in the spirit, and uncomfortable with what I'm saying. That's why if you don't mind letting me know some specifics, I'd really appreciate it.
Christ Bless!
PZ
PZ,
U actually think me and that jungle bunny Huey are the same people? I would give you a piece of my mind, but you seem to be a good Christian white man, and that's what we need to keep these damn porch monkeys in check, I should'nt even be in this blog woth the rest of these niggas, but it's okay as long as I don't have to look at these monkeys.
Keep up the good work, White Jesus will reward you in White Heaven.

I especially hate that track he did with Game, whoever made the beat ruined a Bob Marley classic. On another note that Kingdome Come is highly underrated.
Jay only got 3 wack songs on there and that's the one with usher, the one with beyonce, and the last track. And reckless u need to stop hating on Weezy wit your backpackin ass.

So u missin the point. But on the real that fat Joe album isn't whack but he is nothing without assist from the Terror Squad
Kingdom come is not good enough for the hype. Jay "cod pout" z has officially gone down to number 5 in best ever rapper terms period. I think because the niggas hair is going grandad grey this album should have been called the grey album, but whatever. Like ive said once a nigga goes a few years past the big 3-0, they should have no choice but having to listen to different genres of music (bluesnjazz). They are no longer HIP which you need to be if you want to be in HIP-HOP (its in the name for gods sake) You can only be HIP if you are young and some of these old niggas aint even got the stregnth to HOP, so they should be banished from HIP HOP forever because they dont fit the requirements. And if any of yall niggas on this blog is over 30 get the hell of because your not in touch with the game like me. Thats an order.
Fuck all of that dumb shit...Joe's album is hard...and that's the bottom line...If you up here dissing the album ya sucka ass probably never heard it...I aint a big Fat Joe fan either but he did a good job with this album...I personally like it a lot better than Game's...
I have to admit I agree with Reckless! I lost faith in crack man after his last two LP's. I got suckered last album by that joint The Incrediable which has a blazer. Copped the album & was like what the fuck!!! Fat Joe came back w/ this album. Solid although it still is not as grimey as Jelous Ones Envy. Which is close to a classic as Crack Man will ever make. Love that joint the Dedication. Lil Wayne is straight garbage. Not b/c he from the South, but because he sucks. Just his voice alone can't get by.Lyrically overated!
Like Masta Ace said in the classic Acknowlege diss track. "I rather hear a Lil Wanyne, Lil Zane duet!"
XBK dude:
I copped that Kingdom Come too...I wasn't disappointed at all...Lyrically the nigga is as sharp as he's ever been...Seems like he tried to make a move away from the party records though...You know that's all some of these niggas live for...Niggas who wanna hear 1000 people get murked on wax probably won't like either...I thought the shit was well done minus a couple of tracks...
@ teenagemutantnutsack:

@Black Friday fat joes album is hard LMAO yeah nigga its hard to listen to because its terrible. The nigga tried about as hard on this album as he does on a treadmill, true story.(pun intended) The niggas too old anyway, hes over 30 so its a wrap. (pun intended)

okay.. at first I wasn't going to waste my time, b/c that last album was the worst I ever heard from crack, but with that first single with the cool and dre produced track, the same cats that produced rick ross, Crack reformulated himself, changed his flow, and his swagger, then the lil wayne (which i can't feel lycrically) but the make rain hook is hot. so I took one more chance on crack. Was I shocked, the album is hot, damn hot and haven't listened to crack album from front to back since big pun.. so what if he only sold 60k fuck the sales and you dumb asses who jump on the bandwagon and buy albums b/c of the mass appeal.. stop licking everyone else pus' and do something for self...
Jay-z got it, won't listen to it again unless i'm high then I might like it

Fat Joe got it, much better then expected.

---- I'd have to disagree with you ihadno, the Bible is not a "self-help" book... though many in society have formed this opinion that it is... it in fact is The Word Of God... quite litterally and it is meant to be taken that way... contrary to popular opinion it's not some fancy shmancy feel good read, it's not a harry potter fantasy novel, it's not generalized to take things from it how we see fit, it is the word, we are supposed to take it litterally verbatim.

r u still on that top five lyricists, groups, and name a classic album shit this week.
damn dude - u need a social life. u were screamin that same shit last week when i was in here.
HOMIE - whenever u feel like getting on here arguing with everybody who dont listen to rakim, call up some pussy or sumthin.
to me ure desperately trine to convert people to old new york music, and its not gonna work. u just gone keep pissin yourself off - cuz u on some old washed up shit.
GET A SOCIAL LIFE... stop arguing over the computer every week - go outside and argue with someone you can actually see. ( or do u know the consequences )

I'M A PROUD SOUTHENER!!! BUT I STILL CAN'T SEE WHY NY CATS WHO DON'T HATE ON THE SOUTH LOVE WEEZY SO MUCH!!

( not aimed at u - but understand me on this )
I wanted to show dude how easy it is to call somebody garbage - without making any sense.
listeners / fans - have their own opinion.
that rap shit is like approaching a female - if u arent sayin what they wanna hear, then to them ure garbage.
but that dont mean they are to everyone else. so callin people garbage should be kept as an opinion.
just cuz a nigga aint tellin u what u want to hear, dont mean u have to spray that nigga, or try to influence the next man to dislike them.
u gotta tell bitches what they wanna hear.
and dont get salty with the next man cuz told yo girl what she wanted to hear. all u can do is get yo convo game up, or style or whatever to get her back - or just find a bitch that wanna hear what u got to say.
bottom line - niggas need to get there game up, and stop hatin and talkin down on the hot niggas thats out there doin their thing at the moment.
( these niggas talk shit more than a hoe who see a chick rockin the same dress - but gettin more attention )
NIGGAS ( I SHOULD SAY BITCHEZ )... PLEASE.
Make it rain as a 1st single is where Fat Joe messed up. If he had released one of the harder banging tracks, like you guys referenced (I have not heard the album yet), his sales would have been way up. He went independent and then released a corny ass track, just like the majors would have done. Makes no sense, and the numbers show that. Make it rain should have been one of those tracks you skip over, not the lead single. Peeps want the hard NY shit from Joe. he needs to make 2 low budget videos of the bangers then sales might steadily pick up
@fuck whoever
I am not trying to argue with you son. Hey you don't like the original heat makers from NYC, fine. Just the way I am not feeling that soft southern stuff. There are some artist from the Dirty I like. I don't like all old NYC shit neither and alot of the new cats is stale. Sonny you just need to step your listen up and give the orignator's there credit. As for arguing face to face that shit is cool wit me. I am not no online tough guy so I not gonna trade barbs wit you.

i listen to old music from everywhere.
i got talib, mos, big L, still got the old cannibus, and a lot of down south, and west coast.
told u last week - snoop soggs doggystyle would be considered a classic - if i dick ride albums like some people.
but when i compare artists, i dont call the next man sorry for not being who i want him to be. ( cuz if everybody sounded like rakim - then yall will be gettin on him call him fake, and a wanna be )
everybody got their own swagger and style and words.
kobe aint sorry cuz he aint jordan. and kobe aint a wanna be cuz he one of the best.
everybody is creative in a different way. that dont make nobody better than the next.
You guys prove my point exactly, that you bring hip hop in and then you produce what hip hop teaches.
In the same way your beliefs in this 5% stuff was bred based on what rappers were saying, so goes the state of the nation. Crime rate, drug dealing, mistreatment of women...all glorified in Hip Hop...is what is being teached..and is what is being "output" into society. And 5% was first spread through hip hop music.
That's why God is allowing it to die in it's current state, and is gonna RESURRECT IT. Watch what I tell you.
If the truth was that which Ras Kass spits in his lyrics, you don't think it would've reached further????
And how come you 5%ers have not tried to school anybody on ya'lls history, the Flag and Clarence's legacy? Do you know what you follow, and if so...and if it was legititmate don't you have a responsibility to educate?
Sound like a contradiction. The 5% who is supposed to be all knowing of self, basis their self identity on what Clarence said.
So it appears this "religion" is based on some guy named Clarence in the 60s..and now you guys follow it as truth? Why...cuz Clarence made it up and said so??? Somebody school me on Clarence..."drop the science g"....educate me.
Did you know satan...the head angel, was in charge of music in heaven before being exiled? I do not find it to be coincidence that he would use hip hop to spread a false religion, considering how easily influenced people are by what they hear.
I'ma go repost this in that Talking Videos blog too...go there to respond.

I didn't forget about you. Since I last posted. I looked for a recipe online, drove from work to grocery and then home. Now you got me in the bible looking for that scripture that I can't find online. If I don't find it today I will find it eventually.
The Bible is not the word of God per se. The bible is written by men and from what I know of it not one single word in it was written by Jesus, the only perfect person ever born. Therefore there are many many many contradictions in it and even the disciples sometime inject their personal feelings in it. Peter didn't support marraige and thought of it as a distraction.
When I find the verse I will hit you up on Myspace.
Yall know what time it is.

The Bible is not the word of God
Posted by: Bird at November 22, 2006 03:26 PM
------------------------------
I was just on here checkin for you too when you wrote this.
Bird...the Bible is the Word of God. It says so itself. It doesn't say "well, it's the word of God, but man interjected all this and that into it." I hear what you are saying, and I know what you mean...but check this.
If you allow the devil to feed you that, how can you accept any of it as truth. The Bible is the Word of God penned by men by the leading of the Holy Spirit. It says so. If you don't believe that, then you don't believe the Bible and you are calling God a liar. That simple.
If it made it into the Bible...God allowed it. You must know, NOTHING in existence happens unless (a) God causes it, or (b) God allowed it. Period. So regardless of any of that little trivial stuff where people try and dig at it and say...well man wrote this, and it was put together over so many years and all that.....I say this.
It was God's Will.
And if He willed it that way, I accept it that way. We can argue the book all day and just continue doin' circles.
Therefore...if anything has been added or taken from the book by man...that is between him and God. I will continue sharing, walking and spreading the truth given to me in spirit, experiences..but most importantly, through the Word of God..the Bible.
Please do not think it is by accident that you can not find that scripture. Pay close attention to everything that occurs as we continue this.
Christ bless!

I don't make things up when it comes to God. I read the Bible for myself and try to get my lessons from there rather than from people because people DO interpret it differantly. Once I decided to read for myself the contradictions occured almost immediately. "Religeous" people tell me to pray for clarity before I read so that I can get through all the contradictions and scripture that are not approriate for the time we live in. In any event I don't want to take over the blog with religion. Like I said I will keep looking for the verse and hit you up on Myspace.
THE REALITY CHECK:
1) Fat Joe put out a phenomenal street album, and truth be told, its better than Jay-Z's new album!
2) For the Bible thumpers on here. Nothing amazes me more as a Jewish man, than all the idiots out there who try and ''interpret'' the Bible. Lol
The Bible is a compilation of 66 books by ALL Jewish writers. Jesus was a Jew. Actually, basically EVERY key player in the Bible was a Jew. Its a book about Jewish civilization at that time: Dietary customs, myths, legends, genealogy, poems, songs, apocalptic literature etc. Its not as complicated as you're all making it out to be. Dont get confused because their's 1 Black guy etc. Everyone practised Judaism, INCLUDING Jesus (He was a Jew, not a ''Christian''). Now Paul was a Jew with Roman citizenship. He had connects. When he was Born Again, he went through what every new convert goes through, thats a ''I'm on fire for the Lord'' stage. So he wrote all the Gentiles in European Churches letters, and unbeknownst to them they were on there way to becoming Christian Zionists. The New Testament was born. The New Testament is bullshit! A work of the Catholics, Constantine-mixed Pagainism into it, etc. Jesus followed Yahweh, not himself. All that Trinity shit has NO MERIT!
Even characters like Adam and Eve, Abraham, possibly even Moses, these characters are MYTHICAL. Its allegory, NOT TO BE TAKEN LITERALLY! See thats the problem, stupid Christians living in there fantasy world. They LOVE Jews and HATE them simutaneously.
Even today. Israel gets most of its support from Christian Zionists in America, NOT JEWS. The Israelis think Christians are morons, but they are 'friends' because they need U.S weapons and money. Americans need to believe they're tied to the Holy Land. For the Jew, its a pretty good deal.
@HUEYFREEMAN what is the 5% thing your talking about? educate a young nigga im interested, no joke.

Your whole post is fully of lies and crap....it would take me too long to tear it to pieces with Truth...but considering that you deny Abraham, Moses, etc...there ain't no truth in you. It would be a complete waste of time.
A Jew that doesn't believe the Old Testament to be the Word of God...ya'll need to take a picture of this one. YOU especially better be thankful Jesus came, because you are guilty homeboy. You should know better than anyone.

The 85% take the bible scriptures for face value, the 10% has them thinking Jesus performed miraculous acts like feeding 1,000 people with 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread. Realistically, that shit cannot happen, unless U kill about 5 0r 6 whales. We as the 5% Nation of Gods and Earths teach the 85% 2 cee things 4 what they R and not 4 what thye appear 2 be

@ Huey Freeman
first of all no disrespect to what you stated Huey and matter of fact you way older than me but i disagree what you said. for you to say that miraculous Jesus performed did not happen is totally, absolutely wrong. now brother tell me, who told you and how did you know that marvelous miracle did not happen? like i said no disrespect to you but if you don't know the Bible don't denounce like that brother. my man PZ already gave some Bible quote from Revelation saying "do not add nor do not take".
Huey i don't think God is mystery and if you think so then think again.
God is coming and everything he said in the Book of Revelation is coming true. am just gonna stated what i know from the Revelation and if my man PZ is around he can analyze it for you. according to the Revelation it said when christ is coming strange things will happen (example look at the tsunami, the katrina, the earthquake ect..). it also said nation will rise against nation (e.g. look at Israel and Palestine, the war in Irag, the Lebanon and Israel ect.. there are so many things happening according to the Revelation and that tells you and i that Christ is real not mystery.
to the Jew guy Kyser Soze
most of you Jewish are disgrace to christianity. do you know you Jewish are the same people that rejected Jesus and yet He died for you and i so we can be Free. even though i am not that good christian but i know for sure Jesus is the SON OF GOD and He is the MESSIAH.
@Bird
whats good ma. Bird i also want to know the scripture you talking about until then i don't what kind of Bible you reading but no disrespect to you though.
shout out my man PZ. whats good brother. anywayz if you make it to this blog holla at me.

PZ please correct me if I am wrong but are you sending shots at the Muslim faith?
Cuz if you are thats not very Christian like. In fact, it's kinda ignorant.
Just statin' facts.
(Like I said before, correct me if I'm wrong)

----------------
TO ALL THE MUSLIMS: Did you know that if you were not breast fed by your mother you are not really a muslim.
Praise God.

Alright, first of all I'm not in the mood to play the 'Which scripture wins' game. I don't have the time. But just to respond to what you said. YOU are not GOD therefore YOU do not know what the RIGHT religion is, period. You BELEIVE that your religion is right, and you have every right to your belief. I believe in tolerance and that everyone should live their lives being the kindest, most generous, honest and empathetic people they can be regardless of religion. So I won't attack your religion as you have mine. Again I'll repeat YOU ARE NOT GOD, so you don't know what the FALSE religions are and I don't care who says that it is your duty to point your nose down at others beliefs but I think its just wrong. Show the same common courtesy that I am showing you please. Be respectful.
One love.
