I got that Hi-Tek and a classic it is far from. The guest put it down through out the album, but i can't lie. as much as i wanted the album to be one of my favorites, the production was wack on some of the songs.

The whole LOX Staff needs to get the hell off of interscope. They have no hope basically because G-Unit is not moving units that quickly anymore. G-units projects are going to get all of the attention and promotion dollars.

I think you got what I am saying, but it's like this my favorite painter is Salvador Dali when Dali painted he just got high of peyote and coke and did his thing he didn't worry about how many paintings he could sell or who was going to like it he did the art for the art of it. Don't ever get that twisted..., that 1.5 that he constantly screams about is his BUDGET. Its a pretty big budget for a new artist,no doubt, but its not his take home money. That money should be used for production and guest appearances. Jada made that mistake on his first solo joint because he had a 800K budget and only used about half of that and kept the rest for himself and he admitted thats why his first album suffered. Why do you think he had so many top flight guests like Mariah on his second joint ? He learned from his mistakes. I hear you on Pap but every artist should want to sell records because that's their livelihood and the whole point of rapping and telling your story is so people can hear what you have to say. Its just up to him and his staff to figure out a way that people will hear what he has to say. These cats should be using their labelmates to help them. I good hip hop track for the radio includes a decent message, a hook sung by a popular r&b artist and a catchy beat. We all liked Cassidy but a lot of people never heard of him before R Kelly blessed him with that "Hotel" track. Uncle L's career was revitalized by Boyz 2 Men on "Hey Lover". Nas became mainstream and I mean seriously mainstream when Lauryn Hill blessed him "If I ruled the World". He was hot but he really blew nationally with that joint. The hottest track on Diddy's new joint is that Keisha Cole collabo and i really don't dig either one of them. Together, that's a hot track.

Hip hop is a different world these days. If you need that borderline hip hop/r&b crowd to cop your shit, you can't be debuting hardcore lyrics in your lead single anymore. Ice Cube turned to Lil Jon to promo his shit. It's a different world and yes we true hip hoppers will buy our hardcore cats, but a different crowd is looking for something to bob their heads to.

I don't agree. I think nowadays a lot of the marketing is left in the hands of the artist and these niggas just don't know how to market themselves. They put out mixtape after mixtape to the same group of fans instead of finding avenue to get new ones. There is no such thing as artist development anymore. Record companies need finished products and some of these dudes have been in the game for a long time without picking up anything outside of an occasional royalty check. You've been in the game for 5 + years you should have some control of your destiny. Niggaz think they can write a few raps and put the album out let the label take care of everything else but the labels know that indies are providing only distibution so why should they provide distribution and promotion. Unless you are a top flight artist, the labels ain't gonna bend over backwards for your sake. Once it gets to the top, its a numbers game and if your numbers ain't right, you don't come out.

50 Cent: I'm already seeing what I expect. I see Game writing a song without a hook for "One Blood". I said he's a good rapper, he's not a good songwriter. I see Game making a record where he's totally mimicking 50 Cent and Dr. Dre for the follow-up single ["Let's Ride"]. He mimicks Dr. Dre vocally on each verse on his new single, and he's copying my style on the chorus. If you can't hear that when you listen to that record, I don't even wanna talk to you cause you don't even know Hip Hop. When you hear "One Blood", what you'll hear is rap verses. If you believe that he masterminded the whole thing than where is the plane that hit tower 5 making that fall? There was no plane. it fell on it's own. No where in the history of time has a building just fallen from being near other buildings falling.

The Towers were a different thing because we have footage of them being hit and its understandable that the planes burned through as the towers were flaming for a very long time before dropping. The Pentagon situation is totally all over the place. The FBI and CIA went to every local business and confiscated all video that might have captured what hit. Troy (Webstar) Ryan, 19, and Bianca (Young B) Dupree, 16, started spinning their G-rated hit, "Chicken Noodle Soup," at parties this summer in Manhattan.

The music and dance moves spread quickly via the Web.

And after the singing duo landed a $1.7 million deal with Universal Republic Records, "Chicken Noodle Soup" wound up at No.44 this week on the Billboard hip-hop chart.

"Kids want to hear the song six times in a row. They play it every time over and over in the car, in the house, everything," Ryan said. "It's fun, it's positive, it's for the kids, by the kids."

On the Harlem block where Ryan grew up, all it took was a cell phone ringtone to get kids to start kicking their legs and pumping their fists.

I disagree. If you're on a major label, they have a job to do too. The artist can only do so much. The label is suppose to meet you half way. Basically, why keep an artist on your roster, that you aren't going to put out or put something behind? That doesn't even make sense for the label, because they don't gain nothing for just keeping him there and not putting out his music. Like Styles said, he goes to work and does his job. When is the label going to meet him half way.

It's not about these artist promoting themselves, because they do their job. They provide what they are suppose to provide.
