Aight so check it. It’s no secret that Mase embodies the epitome of dishonor, shame, disgrace, and all of those other synonyms. Now Babs is in trouble with the law. Whatever happened with her and Diddy anyways?
So with that being said, what I want to address is why all of these Bad Boy artists either get used as a tax write-offâ€"banished to the mannequin case as a dysfunctional artist forced to sit on the roster and make no moneyâ€"or end up sitting around looking stupid?

The making of Da Band appeared to be a pointless (and profitless studio-wise) effort that was only a hit on TV. The all-female hit “Making The Band†was, well, another way for Diddy to make that small screen guap…and nothing else. I doubt they’ll get very far and even if they do, they’ll probably end up getting frozen stiff on the label anyways. After all, that’s what Bad Boy is known for.
Speaking of girl groups, the foursome Dream was left somewhere in a musical nightmare. “It was all a dream†for these chicks, until they woke up broke. And what happened to the boy band B5? They didn’t sell enough records for Diddy to keep his faith in them? That’s sad. How far is Ness going to go? What is taking Boyz N Da Hood so long to come back? What happened to all of their “solo projects†that were supposed to follow Young Jeezy’s?
Young Joc is doing fine so far, so he won’t have to worry about becoming the next Lox, who went on Hot 97 and said on air that they were not going to release anymore albums until Diddy gave in and passed over their publishing rights, and rumor has it that the trio Total is still trapped on Diddy’s roster; he won’t let them move. I don’t know how true that is, but that's really messed up if it possesses any accuracy. Good luck Cheri Dennis… better push those units or you’re next.

The problem with all those acts is their all trying to fit into Bad Boys Image and Puff is forcing them to confirm to Bad Boy's known style and sound! Problem is when Bad Boy was runnin shit. They had the sickest Beat team in the industry! Puff didn't have a million side projects so all his artist had his undivided attention. They stopped samplin which was the secret to most of their hits.
Diddy forgot what made Biggie special and he keeps signing imagine before talent! He no faith in any vision other than his own which has got him to where he is today. Even Joc is just a down south version of Mason Betha! Diddy needs to update his formula from image to his sound and approach. Then upgrade his beat team and sign someone with talent first and image 2nd. Biggie sold and his image wasn't all this flossy ish puff is on till Biggie 2nd album. Last he needs to make his label a bigger priority or at least hire someone to run his label thats more hands on considering how many side projects he's got going on.
As far as the contracts

So at this point, all he can rely on for an easy score is Biggie, but that well is running dry too. Do a Greatest hits, and keep it moving. I think he's trying to find the next "big" thing by doing the MTV shit, also because it worked for Idol, but, you didn't find any of those other cats doing reality shows. Besides, if you hot enough for Puffy to be checkin up on you wantin to sign you...you shouldn't really have any problem signin with another label.
