I agree with Ghost. The reason garbage pollutes the airwaves is because of the DJs. Back in the days the local NY DJs made sure that NY hip hop got airplay. To be from another region and get airplay was hard. Now it's the opposite. The NY DJs today only care about what's popular. Back then it was more balance on the radio. Sure, some might say it is business, but it was business back then too. True fans do not need the radio anyway. If he ain't ready to change his style to conform to radio, then just make good music and leave it alone. I'll still support. There are other listeners who do not let the radio dictate their music choices.

The first single, which is still unknown by even Whoo Kid, will be released this upcoming week. Banks promises this album to be "one of the best G-Unit releases ever". Banks also said, "This album is gon blow my last sales away. Banks is planning to shoot the video soon, and it will be released early June in time for album promotion. "I'm hoping this album doesn't get pushed back, because I've been waiting to get back in the game for some time now, and I got everything ready to go." Banks said that the best album strategy is to release a single early, and then right after the album comes out release another one. "You don't want all the heat to be gone right when the album comes out...just because it doesn't sell a mill copies in the first week, doesn't mean it's a flop." The guests on the album of course will feature the entire G-Unit crew. Not true. I live in GA and all regions get play on the radio down here. Honestly, most hip hop and/or rap fans in the south (at least the ones I talk to) aren't caught up in regional wars. Just because the south came up doesn't mean we lost love for other regions hip hop. I'm mostly a conscious hip hop fan myself, but trust me, NY gets their share of airplay here.

I'm feeling what DJ Lucky Luke from ATL, darnell, Hard-hitter are saying. Hell I remember the days when Texas (and Southern rappers in general) had to wait for their time to shine.

The D.O.C. had to leave the DFW area and go west to get his career going. I always found it odd that the Outkast album people regard as classic is Aquemeni which had Raekwon and Slick Rick on it. UGK didn't get exposure until Big Pimpin. Did south cats whine? Nope cats continued to grind hustle and start a new movement.

This is exactly what the West did after the Death Row Era ended. Cats like Mac Dre, E-40 Keak Da Sneak, Game Crooked I, Mistah Fab, The Frontline, and so on kept the west going.

The main problem with the east in my opinion is too much of the light is being shined on the old cats from the good old days of the late 80's and early to mid 90's. Where you saw UGK, Scarface, Jermaine Dupri, Trick Daddy and Luke embrace the next crop of southern rappers and Snoop, E-40, Too Short and other old west rappers embrace the younger west rappers, you didn't see that from the East until recently.
