Favorite Spot: The Peanut Downtown for Hip Hop and Hot Wings on Sundays... national touring acts, local DJs and MCs, BBoys, Local merch, Good Food, drinks, its a party every week. It's the best weekly spot. But there are all types of hip hop / rap events around KC. Lots of Variety. 7th Heaven is about the only place to get local releases though. There have been a lot of people who have set the ground work for what's going on here now, and we keep it moving. Even though spots like Westport try and keep hip hop folk out ( really though its non-white folk aka Racism) We keep pushing on though. peace to all those in KC aka Cans As City, we're on the come-up.
