They can tell you some stories, like how Dave Chappelle used to try to come up there an eat with no money when he was a shorty.

good lookin on DC. bens chili bowl is for old folks. lol food is good though but its so many dayum people in there especially during the weekend fam. drunk bitches and funky breath niggas eatin chilly, people askin u for money old people passing gas cause they aint 54 chili dawgs and shit. other than that shits cool. man please. i just moved from dc and ben's has some good food and shit, but i mean, fuck, that's all you gotta say. you might as well have just said mufucking U-Street. matter of fact, imma take it from here...
U-Street is a nice spot to chill at. you can pick up rare and new wax at Capitol City Records, Catch open mics at the clubs (Republic Gardens, Love Cafe, Bar Nun), catch shows at the many small venues (black cat's close enough and DC 9 and U-Turn), eat delicious northern and eat african food (Cafe Nema, Dukom, alot of places)... the shit is poppin certain nights... also run up to the bottom of Adam's Morgan and drink cheap brews and listen to hiphop at Common Share. Ecks's fat ass...

THis place is for real. I aint even black but i love the soul food they got in that joint. You catch urrybody up in that place. This place and YUMS on 14 & P are the two best places to eat in DC. Aint shit like that down here in Miami.

Yo....big up to the south. DC is just another testament of how the south run shit...we got the best clubs and spots to go to up and down the east coast...and ben's does have the best chilli around....big up bening rd. (southeast is in my heart baby)
