I'm an OG from the town and now I reside in the ATL. The southend used to be the hood but I used to be from Raymond Ave Crip Gang but still affiliated. That's a hood from Cali/Inglewood Watts 102nd.
In the early 90's is when we used to get paper out there. The homie E-Smiley is doing time up there. This is when C-BO and all the Cali homies used to run through the 206. (ex: bloods, crips, etc.) Never do I embrace it 'cause I have seen a lot of good people lose their lives to the ignorance that plagues our communities. However, I like Seattle, it's probably one of my favorite cities in the US, very clean (unlike LA). As far as the hood goes; you need to get up, get out, and get something. How people going to knock and talk down about a place they never been to? I lived in the Seattle area from 95 to 99 and still go up there from time to time. Back then we used to hit up Esquire, Cafe Arizona and there was this one hole in the wall spot that I used to hit up sometimes I think it was called The Rose Petal or something like that......... Last time I was up there (like 2 years ago) I hit up Larry's, Mr. Luky's and a couple of other spots. Seattle is on point. From someone who knows? Dekalb County is not Atlanta. Its a suburb. The actual city of Atlanta only has 480,000 people. The metro area has over 5 million. So you dont live in ATL, stop lying, you live in Georgia. Even though Dekalb is a suburb, they still have more drama going down out there than Seattle do.
