Elevations is cool. They got a mixed crowd from college to straight up hood. The only problem is that it's small as hell! But Brasko was on point as far as naming the spots. I ain't gon' lie though. I miss NiteLife Rocks!

I miss nitelife rocks my damned self, and i have to make my pilgrimage to Elevations *or ride the elevator as my mom's friend calls it*. i haven't been since i've been old to get in...

But what ya'll know bout that Paper Moon, yeh it goes down. I think they need to turn the Metroplex into somethin, that would be good, bout time we get Arkansas on Sohh.com. Hopefully 2007 will be the year an artist from da 501 get on da map...

I look at it this way: You got the college scene, the club scene, and the, "grown & sexy," scene. There is usually a college party thrown every week by some frat or sorority. Then you got the club scene, which is basically just Elevations now that we don't have NiteLife, Legends, or even Club 501 (aka Hadley's remember that?). I'd even take club Bada-Bing back just to mix it up. Then you got the grown & sexy scene with spots like West End. Juanita's also has events about 1 or 2 times a month, and 1st Friday's is always a good look. We comin' up slowly but surely around here. We just need more clubs. I remember a time when on any given night, your options were Elevations, Planet Earth, NiteLife, or Hadley's (Club 501). Now that was da kickin' it!

On a side note though, the local rap scene has come up a lot! You got cats like 607, A-State Hustlaz, Lil Rok Playaz, Conduit, Grim Muzik, Razormack, etc. who have been holding it down for a minute. There's a lot of up & coming talent too. You got Carteaire Custom, Kwestion, David Lawrence, Terrific, Dat Heat, Xxzotic, Rockstar, etc. I could go on. So we're definitely on the come up. It's just a matter of time!

Yeah, yeah....I lived in the Rock for a year, and I have lived all over the south, I Kicked it like a Karate Champ in Little Rock. LaChanges, Elevations, that was my shit. I met too many hoes. Then they getting the fi'dank from Mexico through Texas, all mayne the city was crunk....ALREADY!

-Musically, we got legends from here like Al Green, B.B. King, and Johnny Cash. So know ya roots...

-If you wanna get street, The Chambers Brothers (from AR) basically took the crack game to another level. They took over Detroit and probably still have people continuing on with da empire from Detroit on EAST to this day. Not to mention New Jack City is based on them.

First of all, hood cats in the A-State aint bammer- Far from it. But, please believe that you got bustas and frauds ANYWHERE. And yes, 'bangas get they clown for apparently no reason sometimes- but, that happens ANYWHERE, and it's usually the b.g.'s and the y.g.'s (Baby Gangsta & Young Gangsta- for you street-illiterate marks) that do it because they're trying to earn stripes and hold down their hood. Plus, the bangin be about "money" control via turfs as well.

Money-

The biggest reason the poverty rate is particularly high in Arkansas is because it has a stagnant economy. There are virtually not enough strong jobs to go around. And, the jobs that are available don't pay well on average. That's not to suggest that cats still wouldn't bang and slang if there were, but it would potentially make a difference because family structures and family values would be approached more positively- more often. Now, guess what happens when there are no jobs??? -People gonna find other ways to make a living. In Arkansas, you got a whole slew of impoverished areas ('hoods, projects, etc.), and, in those areas, there are a lot of drug users and abusers. So, YES, cats be gettin money- because they servin the fiends! Weed has always been around in the Ark, and Crack been feedin players for a longggg time, but Meth is huge there.
Breakdown: Coke is imported, so there is an "import tax" that raises it's price there. Weed is grown and also imported, so, basically, "chronic" is gonna be a little more expensive, but "reggie" is usually in abundance. METH is where a Lot of the cash is, and can be made in an in-house lab, so, it's in relative abundance. Part of the reason that you don't necessarily seem to see a lot of "Big Time Hustlers" ridin in foreigns sittin on dubs is because the population of Arkansas' largest urban areas is relatively small compared to the biggest cities in the U.S. So, you're only gonna have so many kingpins that get they shine on- but don't think cats aint eatin.

Anyways, you've got to be kidding yourself if you REALLY believe that Arkansas aint bout it. You've been watchin too many hillbilly-based shows or reading too many hillbilly-based books or articles if you believe the shit that you posted. For you uneducated readers this means Arkansas is the laziest, most broke state producing the least in the entire USA.
