The best 1-2 punch in The Bronx is Orchard Beach and City Island at summer time.
First you spend the whole day at Orchard Beach listening to live latin bands and Hip Hop acts and watching all the fine babes that be on the boardwalk with floss thin thongs on.
After you spend the day being refreshed sonically and visually you head on over to City Island which is 5 mins away from Orchard Beach and you indulge yourself in arguably the best seafood in all of New York City in a Cape Cod type of fashion because City Island is actually a very old marina town.
Thats what i do in The Bronx at summer time, oh and i almost forgot to mention The white Castle spot on Boston Road which is where i catch a late night snack after clubbing!!!
