Damn look at all this hate...lol..i knew that it would be a lot of hate cause the spotlight got put on Denver. But anyways, Denver definitely does have hoods and it definitely does have black people but its centralized. There's alot in Aurora and Montbello, the Springs and other places too but we're more scattered other places.I dont live there anymore.Im in LA now but i just wanted to let yall know from someone who actually lived there.
Posted by: candy at June 7, 2006 7:54 PM
This is to all them fools running their mouths about the Mile High City:
Tonenyce, you obviously ain't never been to Denver with that bullshit you said. Denver is 40% Latino, the Trenchcoat Mafia was just some crazy-ass whiteboys from the suburbs. What does a fucking house plant and window shades have to do with living in the ghetto? What is "ghetto" then? Does he need the wallpaper peeling off, a lamp with no shade, and roaches running across the wall to be "ghetto" enough for your dumb-ass? Sorry we don't have a terrible crime problem here, since when is that the kind of shit to be proud of you stupid motherfucker. We still got hoods like Five Points, Park Hill, and Montbello, but all in all Denver is chill as a motherfuck. One thing I know we got is legalized buddha. If your over 21 and got less than an ounce on you then you ain't commiting a crime in Denver County. Not to mention that besides California; we got the best chronic in the country, just ask all the college students in Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota that we be supplying. When I lived in Milwaukee, WI all my bud came from Fort Collins, CO. Don't hate on us because I can smoke a spliff in front of a cop and he can't do shit about it.
This one's for the Cock Waffle:
If you don't know what a smothered burrito is then don't hate on the homey Ontoneyo. Before Taco Bell and Qdoba and shit you had two choices of smothered burritos: beef or bean and red (chile) or green (chile). Anybody who came up in the Southwest (Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas) would know this shit. Chubby's is the spot to go for a bite to eat after the club and finding the afterparty spot. So stop hating on Denver because we're on the rise and we're 3 million strong.

You talk about not having a tree. Go fuckin plant 1. Use your energy on something positive. Clean up your hood or quit bitchin about it. If you can't do something postive then you are all bitches..thats right BITCH..If this offends u then your a Bitch. Make a change for the better or your a little bitch. Anyone can pull a trigger. It doesn't take brains. It takes brains to NOT pull the trigger. It takes brains to walk away. It takes brains and hard work to make a hood nice. You would rather bitch and complain than to make a change. Asswipes. Gangs are as STUPID as the people in them. Its just the way u like it, right? You make yourself this way.

I just recently moved to Denver from Chi-town. Denver is a lot different than people think they got 3 million people, beautiful weather and a gang of Mexicans. It's real diverse though you do see black folks and every other race. I see way more black people there than I have in a lot of cities. Most of you people on here hating don't even live in a big city, but want to hate on a town becau se of a perception be real. All that internet gangsta stuff needs to stop. Tonencye and me i be are lame, we don't believe you you need more people, real n***az won't speak on another man or what he represents until they know what's what. It's hoods all over the world even where y'all live in Boise, Idaho. Every big city in America is the same to a certain extent. Quit hating it's a ugly disease. Everybody else rep your hood and your city to the fullest. That's real talk

umm, i moved back to Milwaukee from Tucson and I'm going to be moving to Denver so I was reading everyone's opinion on the lifestyle and diversity there. i'm very open-minded and all your guys' talk actually makes me want to move there more. You all have a strong opinion and there's crime everywhere, so i don't really worry about that- just be smart.. i've lived in big cities and sadly, a farm-town, and the crime is really all relative; cities are a statistic, rural areas have hick crime- which actually bothers me more.. i can't stand rednecks so i'm gettin out of the midwest..
i'm 21 so i was wondering where are the best places to go out downtown?
