Can Phil Banks' Testimony Be Trusted?
Opening statements were made in the trial today and SOHH reports:
"The defense also attempted to poke holes in the credibility of the prosecution's star witness, Phil Banks. They painted him as a repeat offender who has been convicted of both sexual assault and attempted assault with a firearm. He was also convicted of perjury, but cooperated when he got arrested and had to return to prison."
Phil Banks???
Dag, I never thought he would turn states. Considering who his nephew is, and all.
Seriously though, it may be hard for the prosecution to find any witnesses against Irv and crew who have totally clean backgrounds. However, that never stopped the Feds from putting away the real Gotti's.

of course he isn't. he's already been convicted of perjury, plus all of the other crimes, he's not credible at all.

The prosecution has nothing. All they have is snitches trying to get thier time cut. Snitches never win, because the FEDS never homage their deal. They will re-neg on the deal when you gave them everything they want.
