The Murder Inc trial is on hold, and SOHH reports:

...the new deluge of documents has folks in the Gotti's inner-circle on pins and needles. Apparently, the new Fed evidence includes documents showing The Inc. payed hotel bills and airline tickets for individuals using fictitious names.

Another source tells me that Supreme's partners are afraid this case may pull all of them into the mud.

The Murder Inc. trial jury is being selected using a questionaire that asks about their activity on blogs, knowledge of hip-hop, and attitudes towards crime. I wonder- could I be chosen as a juror?

Let me answer some of the questions I think are on the questionaire, to see how I would do.

In a March 21st prison transcript obtained by SOHH.com, Chris Lorenzo and McGriff discuss 50’s record,
"Get Rich or Die Tryin". The two discuss how 50 “stages” drama to boost his record sales including the most recent shooting of the Violater offices. “I be thinking this nigga be staging these things,” remarks McGriff. “He pays little shorty,” McGriff says, suggesting 50 is paying off shooters to create drama to boost his image.

Now... Ja Rule's manager, Ron "Gutta" Robinson has had all charges against him dropped. Cynthia Brent (Accountant) pleaded guilty 2 weeks ago to "structuring" and received no jail time. The other co-defendant pleaded guilty to gun possession for the gun found in the raid of Murder Inc's offices and received probation.

SOHH got the exclusive, ya'll- read up on all the twists and turns in the Murder Inc. case. The case basically boils down to whether Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff helped to start The Inc. label with his drug money, and did Supreme continue to use the label as a cover for illegal activities?

Dex Ottley

Dex Ottley taken into custody in April 2003 based upon evidence that linked him to a .25-caliber gun found during a search of Murder Inc.'s offices in January 2003.

Ronald Robinson aka Gutta

Co-defendant and manager to Ja Rule. Indicted on money laundering charges.

Cynthia Brent, The Bookkeeper

Cynthia Brent, the 39 year old co-defendant, worked as a bookkeeper for The Inc. She was arrested at her New Jersey residence in November 2004 and charged with laundering over $1 million in drug money and structuring cash to avoid federal reporting conditions.

Gerald B. Lefcourt & Renato C. Stabile

Gerald B. Lefcourt/Renato C. Stabile are the attornies for Irving Lorenzo and Murder Inc. Records.

Gerald L. Shargel

Gerald L. Shargel is the attorney for Chris Lorenzo.

Special IRS Agent Mace

Lead IRS agent who outlined introductory case of alleged money laundering by Murder Inc. Alleges that Murder Inc. was seeded by McGriff’s drug money and that McGriff was The Inc’s “secret founder”. Sworn affidavit was used to gain warrants to search Murder Inc offices in January 2003.

Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff

Accused of being a “secret partner” of Murder Inc. record label. Case against Gotti's and Murder Inc attempts to make the connection that McGriff provided the seed funding for Murder Inc. and used the label as a front to launder drug money.

Chris Lorenzo aka Chris Gotti

Vice President of Murder Inc Records. Raised in Queens, NY and currently resides in Bayside, Queens. Surrendered to federal authorities in January 2005 to face charges of federal racketeering and conspiracy, drug trafficking and money laundering.

Irv Lorenzo aka Irv Gotti

CEO and President of The Inc. Records formerly known as Murder Inc. Records.

Raised in Queens NY and currently resides in Manhattan and New Rochelle. Surrendered to federal authorities in January 2005 to face charges of federal racketeering and conspiracy, drug trafficking and money laundering.
