Bottom line, J-Nicks - host of BET's Rap City is scary looking dude broad thing....

I figured it's a slow night, so why not do a live blog on "The Negro Channel's" 25 Strong. The show is a bunch of negro's giving the channel props industry negros who have paid "The Negro Channel" at one time or another to play their video. Why can't people just say, they like BET for 25 years of good videos and Spark re-runs? Is that so hard to say?

To me, BET is nothing more than a man who figured out how to get labels to send him videos - for free - and play the videos while inserting commercials inbetween them getting paid. Nothing wrong with that. Then when he got overloaded with videos, he figured, if people pay me, I'll play the video more frequently.

When I see BET, I don't see me. I see the negro's I'm trying to get away from. Don't front. If you could move, you would. 

The truth of the matter, the 25 Strong show is an attempt to rewrite BET's history with the help of the top industry execs. For example, they have house niggers Kevin Lyles and RusSellout Simmons praising BET for it's news coverage on events such as The OJ Simpson Bronco Chase.

Today's blog is inspired by Ice Cube's Amerikkka's Most Wanted. SOHH, what does BET think about you?

Last week, many of us were glued to the television watching all of the Katrina drama. Similar to Kanye West, I wasn't excited about the way that the Black people were being portrayed. Calling Black people looters and white people finders was just one point. What about professional journalists calling them refugees?

But one thing that bothered me what that as usual BET was showing videos. So what's the problem?

NYC Radio Show WBLS in NYC was just telecasting the Luther Vandross funeral. This would be the perfect opportunity for BET to step up, put the booty shaking videos on pause and show the Luther Vandross funeral.

Oh well, this was to be expected....BET, ya gotta love 'em.

Did anyone see the BET Awards last night?

For as many people who was AT the awards like Micheal Jordan, seems like no one showed up to receive thier awards. Was there a boycott or something? I mean, even Regina King didn't show up for her award. If you can't get Regina King at your show, you know something's wrong.

With all of this coverage on the election of the new Pope, I knew I could rely on BET to still be showing videos.
