When I made the statement that D.C. was the "murda capital of the world", I was quoting what most news affiliates have "labeled" the city for the past 20 years. Of course Baghdad is way worts it terms of deaths, but under normal circumstances, compared to most "capital" cities around the world in the past, it has a higher crime rate. D.C.
