1. 50 is doing big, big things. His entrepeunural skills should are something we could all learn from. Personally - I like the whole G-Unit movement. Back 2 Business was the best mix-CD I heard this year. Prodigy and Buck shine. Even Yayo has some fire. 50's delivery, voice is what makes him stand out - hate it or love it.

2. Anyone who reads the Source magazine is an idiot. The shit is a rag. No journalistic credibility or integrity. XXL and even the Vibe are more balanced. I knew the original Harvard boys who founded the magazine back in the 80s. Raymond Scott AKA Ray-Dog AKA Benzino has always been a joke as a rapper and now most certainly as a magazine co-owner. His original crew RSO were real gangstas and 1/2 are dead. He's Boston's version of Suge Knight. He's an untalented thug who pushed his way into a position of influence by punking a white boy - David Mays. Ray has destroyed the Source as a publication. IT will never be taken seriously again. XXL is the new "bible" of hip hop. The fact that a magazine is used as a platform to attack artists, labels, radio stations is inconsistent w/what journalism is all about. Sad.

3. Suge Knight is a fat bastard - why do people still care about him? HE killed Biggie - and that is worth snitching about. Too bad these bitches are so scared of him. I hope someone puts a bullet in his head.

For those of you 50 cent dick-sucking pre-teens out there, you guys are the reason why 50 is as big as he is now. I mean, all I have to do is turn on the radio or watch 106 & Park (which has gone downhill faster than an Olympic downhill skier) to hear Southern rap. But just because they are all over the place now doesn't mean they are good music. I like some Southern artists myself, like T.I., Ludacris and Bun B. However, with that said, there are a whole bunch of wack MCs and groups coming out from the South too. The rap game has put the spotlight on certain regions of the U.S. in the past 10 years. Of course we have the East Coast representing in the early 90s, then we have the West Coast movement with Pac and N.W.A., then we got the Mid-West with Chi-Town and North Carolina. Now the spotlight just happens to be in the South. No disrespect to the Southern groups, but if it wasn't for Lil' Jon stupid gimmicks, would the general public even acknowledge that the South exists? Sure we already had white people all over Outkast's dick, but I bet you half of them even know they are from the South until someone else told them so. I don't think the South will fade. Maybe from the mainstream, but not altogether by any means. They were doin their thing before they even blew up on a mainstream level. People who are jumpin on the bandwagon are only catchin up on what's been goin on down here for a while. TI is a good rapper, but I lost alot of respect for him. Interning for his former manager at Sony I realized that alot of his image is all part of carefully planned publicity stunts. I think after GRODT 50 just faded for who loved listening to him. If you don't consider songs like 'In My Hood', 'I'm Supposed To Die Tonight' and 'Gunz Come Out', he made a 'RnB-record'. That also counts for the weak shit he's putting out on the G-Unit Radio-mixtapes too; just consider his latest failurs 'Emotional', 'I Be Pimpin' and 'Just A Touch'. And although it's some of the best shit he brought out this year, you can't say 'Hustlers Ambition' and 'Window Shopper' are lyrically acceptable from the #1 rapper-status he's claiming.

There's the whole argument 50 wrote 6 songs from 'The Documentary', but if he did; where did the energy go in the rest of his material? Secondly, Game proves he can handle himself with '300 Bars' and all the other shit he's bringing out right now.

Well 1st off, I agree with Mr. Irreverent. People get REAL emotional whenever 50 is mentioned as if they gettin' money with him too or they next of kin or somethin'. Chances are 99.99% of these cats praising 50 don't know him at all. Why get all passionate about someone you never met? People are so impressed with his money and album sales that they can't see past anything else. I have both Get Rich or Die Tryin' as well as The Massacre(downloaded them of course). Lyrically I'm not impressed by 50 at all. He's average in that respect. Average as well as below average MCs go platinum too, just ask Nelly, Mike Jones or Chingy for example. 50 has very good taste in beats though. As far as the Young Jeezy thing; I'm not impressed with him either. If you're an MC, your background isn't gonna impress me. Your connections in the dope game will not impress me. All that thugged out posturing will not get me to buy your album. I don't care if Jay-Z is co-signing you. It's your skills that will impress me. As far as Yayo, he is almost gold i believe, not platnum. Yayo is not in it to win , im sure you can all see that, he just doin it to get some paper.Banks doesnt have anything on the radio, but he defintly still got it on the mix tape circuit. Besides that,G- unit has the hottest line up right now. No other camp/label is making noise like them. Everyone is waiting to see what they are going to throw out next. He killin them with the offical records , and on the mix tape circuit. D-block got issues to work out, dipset still in they grind, Terror squad appears to be washed up..who else is making noise on the east? One thing Hammer(who by the way had a hot SINGLE) and a lot of other artist didnt do was secure their future. Invest outside of hip hop. Invest in other artist. That would be the difference.

I am a Jeezy fan and I personally like his style of flow. To me it different then most, and the beat production on the album was good. I see where he was compared to Nas, Jay-Z or 50 but he is not that type of artist. The large majority of those new artist that come in the came with flows like them don't last long. All of these super lycrical emcee, drop luke warm albums and disappear to the underground scene. Jeezy got a style that appeals to those like that sounthern dope boy talk. You would have to be from that environment to really get it. Example I have never understood what people saw in Wu Tang.
