Toodles Tookie

I can't believe the execution of Crips Gang co-founder Stanley "Tookie" Williams is so big. The irony of it all is that they are meeting with former Terminator, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Weird.

Now, I don't buy into Snoop Dogg's bullshit claiming that Tookie is an inspiration of troubled youth. The man wrote a couple of books denouncing gang-life. Big deal. Most of these kids can't read so what's the point. The kids only understand two things. LIFE and DEATH.

Lumidee's IPod Playlist

"Lumidee was arrested at Laguardia International Airport on Friday November 25 after the Drug Enforcement Agency (D.E.A.) was tipped off that she was smuggling drugs into the United States."

It's still in the rumor stage but I figured I'm make her a lil mix CD.

Sometimes I'm not so sure of these rappers. One day they're gangsters, the next day they're business men.

When Irv first came on the scene, I knew him as DJ Irv. Then he became Irv Gotti. Now he's Irv Lorenzo. Of course, I'm not stupid. He's downplaying his image so he looks better to in the public eye.

Dame Dash: Change Of Heart

It's good to see Dame and Irv putting their old differences aside. Just think it was only 3 years ago that Irv and Dame was fighting over who was the 'hottest nigga in the building'. I came across some interesting passages while reading Queens Reigns Supreme...

50 Cent: So Seductive

In my defense, I really didn't want to do any more blog involving dude, but this picture was just too good to pass up.

 50 Cent GQ Photoshoot

Never in my lifetime did I think that anyone would ever use a line from Fat Joe. Even though Remy is down with TS she quotes Jay-Z. Jay stays quoting Snoop and B.I.G..

The lender:

"I can kick it this way, I can kick it thattaway;
I kick a funky style, from New York to Piscataway" - Fat Joe, Flow Joe

The borrower:

"I can do it this-a-way, I can do it that-a-way
From the crib in Virginia to that new Miami getaway" - Pharrell, Can I Have it Like That

You know what this means right?

I Don't Love 50 Cent - You Love 50

There's a lot of typing about how I'm a hater...yadda, yadda, yadda. I don't like G-Unit. I don't lke 50 Cent. I don't like Prodigy. Has it ever occured to you that these are just my opinions. You don't see me going to your blog everyday telling you what to write about.

Besides...

...but I'll spare you those details.

Imagine if this was 50's next signee?

Mobb Deep: 50's Boy-Toy Souljas

Within days, you'll be reading Mobb Deep's interview in VIBE. The interview sheds light on Mobb Deep's affinity with G-Unit, plus it gives CPR to a dying publication. [You don't win putting Bow Wow on the cover.] VIBE is like one step away from being Right On! They need to pull an Elliott Wilson - TRANSLATION - find a label thats hot and sell them the cover for concurrent months at a time.

Anyway, remember last week when I said "if you're Prodigy, 50 Cent owns your words and your balls." I was SOHH wrong. 50 owns Prodigy AND Havok's words and balls. And VIBE has documented proof...

BET 25 Strong: Live From My Couch

I figured it's a slow night, so why not do a live blog on "The Negro Channel's" 25 Strong. The show is a bunch of negro's giving the channel props industry negros who have paid "The Negro Channel" at one time or another to play their video. Why can't people just say, they like BET for 25 years of good videos and Spark re-runs? Is that so hard to say?

To me, BET is nothing more than a man who figured out how to get labels to send him videos - for free - and play the videos while inserting commercials inbetween them getting paid. Nothing wrong with that. Then when he got overloaded with videos, he figured, if people pay me, I'll play the video more frequently.

When I see BET, I don't see me. I see the negro's I'm trying to get away from. Don't front. If you could move, you would.

The truth of the matter, the 25 Strong show is an attempt to rewrite BET's history with the help of the top industry execs. For example, they have house niggers Kevin Lyles and RusSellout Simmons praising BET for it's news coverage on events such as The OJ Simpson Bronco Chase.

WTF!
