I must have missed something, but isn't Maria Carey, Ludacris, Scarface, Kanye West, Young Jeezy on DEFJAM. That seems like a lot of records sells to me. I personally like Jay-Z's style. Dude is not like most emcees all loud on and off the mic. I hardly ever hear him say much at all and to me that is a good quality to have. Keep your mouth closed sometimes and look and listen! I been listening to Mobb Deep since "The Infamous...." back in 1995. Havoc has improved vastly (or rather people has finally started paying him attention-no diss) while Prodigy has regressed. I offer "Infamy" as proof of this which was released right after Jay nailed P's coffin shut at SummerJam that year. Hell, if you listen to Hav & P's verses on Outta Control, you can tell he continuing to regress. P's lyrical decline began on "Murder Muzik" back in 1999. I'm not ridin' Jay but the boy killed P on Takeover then but SummerJam 2001....I don't even have say anything else. I hope he finds himself again lyrically cause the future of Mobb Deep ain't bright if he doesn't regardless if he's on G-Unit. Why?
