Duke is from my neighborhood, trust he got bars...but for some reason when he actually tries to make a song it comes out a**. I feel this way about a few artists, Graph...Cassidy etc. I'm not sure why they get so fundamental lyrically when writing songs. His lead single "May I" was very marginal. The joint of the Coach Carter soundtrack, was uninpressive to say the least - I feel bad for him almost. That coupled with the fact that he is with Capitol Records, who don't know ish about urban marketing - their premier rap artist is Chingy!!! They are signing rappers like wildfire...Mack 10, Ebony Eyez, Csar Nok, Red Cafe - all of the aforementioned with be flops from a commercial standpoint.
