I can only hope that the world can see all this for what it really is: The spiritual warfare that we are all under and its attack on our spirituality and sexuality.

First of all, I find Kanye's point of view regarding 'gay bashing in hip-hop" very vague and pointless. Clearly, his intentions were to "tap into the gay market" for the purpose of increasing his album's popularity. He's had all year long to say how he feels about such,and he does it now--- a week before his album is to drop. I think he makes a mockery of the struggle with sexual identity by paralleling his experience as being called a Mama's boy with "identifying" with gays. Having certain "mannerisms" doesn't make a person gay.Being confronted with feelings for the same sex and experiencing thoughts of the same, or desiring sexual relationships with any/everyone; being "turned out" by a sexual experience should be an indication of manipulation of one's sexuality in the spirit realm before it is an indication of ones honosexuality. The fact of the matter is--in all of our endeavors to accept this,that and the other in the name of "freedom" we've become open minded to all sorts of perversions and we've left our seeds and wombs uncovered and prey to those perversions.

Understanding that there truly is a spiritual war that has been waged against our sexuality is paramount to not being misled. The powers that be are ubiquitous and the sexual demons that they control and cast out are looking for "any way into" the temple. And everyone caught up in their search for the "feel good" and concerned only with satiating the desire can't see the whole picture.

I can only state my truth as such, because I've been through that warfare first and foremost. Having girlfriends who were in bad relationships with their guys made me feel I would never have the chance to be in a healthy relationship, and I had to fight the negative sentiment that all guys were the same. The ONLY thing that made me want to continue to have faith in being in a healthy relationship was knowing what existed within me- knowing my heart and believing that connection with the right person would bemanifested. As I gre older, however, I became even more isoalted and lonely-- the pressure to be aesthetically perfect according to society's standards; the pressure of holding on to my virginity when my hormones were raging but wanting to be in a relationship first before doing soure; having sentiments of not being able to relate to guy my age; me and my girls in high school and college were listening to the love songs and fantasizing about our future husbands and families while our brothas were out there listening to the materialistic and mysoginistic views of rap and being pied by another piper's lie in the 90s; feeling I was "weird" because I had respect for a man's physical body where most of my friend's were lusting after men's bodies in an unnatural way; feeling I "must be gay" because all of my closest relationships were with women and because for most women sexuality is connected to friendship and intimacy. All this things that I'd experienced ny entire life were the open doors through which the sexual perversions tried to come through starting in 1996 when I felt myself being attacked by forces in the spiritual realm. I know my spirit's sexual and creative energies were being preyed upon by forces that sought my devotion and allegience through a brokenness. I felt that force rape my womb of all the stored hopes and dreams of love,which was connected to my relationship with God...that attack wanted to separate me from God(by presenting itself as Choice and Freedom while imposing its brokenness upon me. It wanted to end my life and steal the creative life within my womb when I could not find the Righteous Father of my seed to water it. It TOOK what I could not give naturally give birth to in safety and love, and rendered that life a slave to its will and purpose.

My soulmate was divinely led to me after this experience. Our life walks have been almost exactly parallel, even with regards to the attack on his Spirit and sexuality. And for him,as a man to be attacked by that was a double pain. And now-- for the struggle to be in the wuestion, "if the homosexual act between two men is not violent and is not experienced out of a feeling of weakness or brokenness, can it really be an act of "righteous love"? Those things kept us both under a cloud of pain and semi-hopelessness...even further apart from one another mentally and physically... afraid, ashamed and confused to speakout about the violation that we knew others were experiencing.

Which brings me to point of sharing this-I know that the creative energies of many in the music industry are being preyed upon and pimped by the realm of sexual preversions. I know the battle is real and is very difficult to withstand; I know the temptations are extremely hard to resist because of the spiritual battle and things intangible to which our hearts and sexialities are attached. The "homophobic" atmosphere in hip-hop is the manifestation of that attack and the battle against it. The music/entertainment industry is passing out endorsements and record contracts if you're willing to 'be screwed" and open yourself up to sexual perversions. have predicted that my favorite rapper would "still" be on Roc-A-
Fella in 2005.

Your "College Dropout" debut exceeded both critical and commercial
expectations. Triple platinum status of "Dropout" surpassed even
that of Jay-Z's 2 million unit moving finale, "The Black Album".
Until Nas drops "Nas Daq Dow Jones" (his eight solo LP), your
sophomore effort "Late Registration" will be the most anticipated
project of 2005's final quarter. What seperates you from everyone
else in the industry right now is your singles. With the exception
of "Slow Jamz", every song you have released for mass consumption

Yeezee granted superb journalist Sway an in-depth interview for
MTV's special "All Eyez On Kanye West". Sway allowed West to address

This writer is not here to pass judgement on Kanye West. This
writer is likewise not here to pass negative judgement on either the
artists or audiences of hip-hop who may indeed be gay. My question
is simple. If your favorite apparently-heterosexual male emcee
openly admitted to being a homosexual...would this make a difference
to you?

I learned that my own father died of A.I.D.S. while celebrating my
27th birthday. I had been told his death was cancer related. I have
no grudge against my mother for not sharing the truth. Her "baby"
was only fifteen years old at the time. How is this relevant to
Kayne West and the title of this editorial, you ask? Simple. My
father told my mother that part of the reason he had never attempted
to establish a close relationship with me was because he felt that I
would be "ashamed" of him if I found out about his sexual
orientation. He had not even revealed this reality to my mother
until mere months before his death. If an "apparently-heterosexual"
father feels that he cannot share his true sexual identity as a man
to his own son, how much more difficult would it be for Kanye West
(if it were the case) to reveal his orientation to the 3 million
supporters of his first album????

The fact that America is not ready for someone of Kanye's stature to
reveal preference for an alternative lifestyle is not lost on just
the hip-hop generation. Professional football and baseball players
have been recently held press conferences just to announce: "I am
not gay. I like women." Atlanta Falcons quarterback Mike Vick, hit

To Judge No One, 2 women is every bit as wrong as 2 men.
