Today's Question: How do magazine subscriptions get destroyed?
...on the business side, the title has for several years failed to report its publisher's circulation estimates on time to the Audit Bureau of Circulations. Founding CEO David Mays attributed the tardiness to management changes in his circ department, as well as records having been destroyed when the magazine moved offices late last year. (full story)
Maybe it's because I don't run a publication, but how do you lose subscriptions? Did you lose them as you were crossing the street and the wind took them?
Wouldn't a multi-million dollar company keep your subscriptions in a computer? Wouldn't that same company keep the computer with the bread and butter off site where it would be safe from fire, theft and wind?
Normally, this question would go unanswered but thanks to the EEOC Charge Of Discrimination filed by Michelle Joyce former Vice President of Marketing at The Source, we can answer this question right now.
"...in December 2004 they fired Deborah Cameron, the former Circulation Director, and replaced her with "Black," one of Mr. Scott's [Benzino] male associates who previously worked in the Photography Department and had absolutely no experience in circulation." - Paragraph 24
Go figure!

LOL! You hit the nail right on the head!
Its called lack of business sense. Your company is doomed for failure, by placing unqualified people in key positions. That was just flat out stupid on their part. Seems like they were running their company like it was a street hustle or something.
When I tried to grab the mic and tried to say yes yall/ they tried to say that I was too small/ cool/ cause I don't get up set/ kick a whole in the speaker, pull the plug and I jet/ back to the lab with out a mic to grab/ and then I add all the rhymes I had/ one after the other one/ then I make another one
by Rakim a.k.a God of emcees!
hahahahahaha!
I didn't catch that!
before the whole "eminem controversy" i heard no complaints from anyone about the source magazine, except for maybe someone saying they recieved their subscription a few weeks late. Also, prior to the "EM controversy" the only thing people had to say negative about benzino was that he wasnt a good rapper. post the "em controversy" benzino is the devil, dave is satan's helper, and the mag is the worst hip hop mag ever.
people fucking disgust me. pay respect where respect is due. if it wasnt for the source magazine the last 15 + years would have been unknown until a later date, especially to these po dunk towns in iowa, mississipi, montana etc.
the xxl magazine didnt even surface until the time of big and pacs deaths. there was no murder dog or any of these other knock offs.
who cares about who got fired and what types of relationships they have post employement. who gives a fuck about if some guy runnin a magazine and is a rapper at the same time is a conflict of interest. if the president of starbuks is an asshole, youre gonna still drink the coffee.
you dont think that there are sex scandals and assholish behavior taking place at the new yor times or the wall street journal? who gives a fuck! is the news in there? are the stock quotes correct? then let the employees deal with the in house problems and or quit if they feel that is the best course of action.
but for God's sake man,
im tired of hearin about how benzino bullied dave or joe touched lisa on the ass and fred got promoted because his cousin was benzino's dad's cell mate.
who gives a fuck?
All i wanna know is when the jadakiss album, or the ghostface album is comin out, who produced it, who's featured on it, and maybe read a few articles about whats goin on in the hip hop/political world.
if i want that other shit, i'd get the soap opera mag.
get off the source's back/dick and pay homage where homage is due.
FUCKIN LAME ASS POSERS!
sounds like somebody needs some cheese !!!!!
countryboy out.
